With the development of 3G network technology, the rapid upgrading of mobile phone hardware, and the refined requirements for mobile phones by mobile phone users, it is essential for mobile phones to be able to promptly and accurately process images. A mobile phone terminal sends the service requests to cloud computer system which then processes the requests and sends the results via 3G network back to the mobile phone terminal. This paper presents a architectural model to realize the image processing system that connects mobile phone with clouding computing through 3G network. The method is to build intra-enterprise server group, distributed database system, and parallel computing system to form a private cloud computing system, which defines ontological semantic tags for images uploaded from mobile phone terminals and stores them in a distributed way (cloud storing), and to design the corresponding search algorithms to help the system to promptly and accurately query the images (cloud computing), and retrieve the appropriate images through sorting matching indexes, weights, and etc.

The application of computer technology in digitalization protection and exhibition of cultural relics has made much achievement; however, most of the related researches focus on such technology stage as digital repairing, restituting, and exhibiting. Taking the Lacquer chest of the Tomb of Macaques Yi of the Zeng State as an example, researches have been done on the thoughts and methods of conforming animation and game technology in deep digitalization protection and exhibition of relics. 3D modeling technology has been put into practice in the reconstruction and restitution of the lacquer chests and the astronomic paintings described on the chests; image processing, 3D and 2D animation and game developing technology have been taken into account in the creation of digital content stage, thoroughly exhibiting the lacquer chests and the living scenes and cultural integrants described on them, bringing to a new stage the exhibition of relics and protection of culture.

This paper presents a real-time robust algorithm to automatically detect and classify round road signs on Chinese highways. As most of road signs on Chinese highways have circular borders, the detection system first takes advantage of a real-time circle detection algorithm to extract the regions of interest (ROI). Then the color and texture pattern in each ROI is analyzed and compared with sample signs to both validate the candidate road sign and identify their types. The algorithm is implemented in Visual C++ and tested on a laptop powered by an Intel Centrino Duo CPU at 1.8 GHz. The experiment shows the algorithm's speed is fast, 83 ms/images on average for image size of 640 × 480, and its false negative (failure to detect) is 21 signs or 4% (failure to detect) for a pool of 530 different road signs in a pool of 1000 pictures. And there are 3 non-road-sign objects incorrectly recognized as valid road signs.

Traditional English text chunking approach is to identify phrases using only one model and same features. It is shown that one model could not consider each phrasepsilas characteristics, and same features are not suitable to all phrases. In this paper, a multi-agent text chunking model is proposed. This model uses individual sensitive features of each phrase to identify different phrases. Through testing on the public training and test corpus, this multi-agent model is effective because F score of English chunking using this multi-agent model achieves to 95.70%, which is higher than the best result that has been reported.
