Clean air actions （CAAs） in China have been linked to considerable benefits in public ***,whether the beneficial effects of CAAs are equally distributed geographically is *** high-resolution maps of the distributions of major air pollutants (fine particulate matter[PM2.5]and ozone[O3]) and population,we aimed to track spatiotemporal changes in health impacts from,and geographic inequality embedded in,the reduced exposures to PM2.5and O3from 2013 to *** used a method established by the Global Burden of Diseases *** analyzing the changes in loss of life expectancy（LLE） attributable to PM2.5and O3,we calculated the gain of life expectancy （GLE） to quantify the health benefits of the air-quality ***,we assessed the geographic inequality embedded in the GLE using the Gini index （GI）.Based on risk assessments of PM2.5and O3,during the first stage of CAAs（2013 to 2017）,the mean GLE was 1.87 *** of the sum of the GLE was disproportionally distributed in about one quarter of the population exposed （GI 0.44）.During the second stage of CAAs（2017 to 2020）,the mean GLE increased to 3.94 months and geographic inequality decreased （GI 0.18）.According to our assessments,CAAs were enhanced,from the first to second stages,in terms of not only preventing premature mortality but also ameliorating health *** enhancements were related to increased sensitivity to the health effects of air pollution and synergic control of PM2.5and *** findings will contribute to optimizing future CAAs.

This article proposes StrawberryTalk, an Internet of Things (IoT) platform for image-based strawberry disease detection. StrawberryTalk reuses the wall-mounted monitoring cameras without extra hardware cost. The contributions of StrawberryTalk are the utilization of IoT for automatic photo shoot and the wind detection mechanism to eliminate the obscure photos due to the wind effects. Also, the data preprocessing and the infection detection models are manipulated as IoT devices to simplify the implementation of the multicascade artificial intelligence (AI) models. We derive the relationship between the camera zoom factor and the distance between the camera and the strawberries for optimal disease detection. Accuracy of detection may be affected by obscure photos. In terms of eliminating obscure photos due to wind effect, we analytically derive the relationship between the wind alert delay and the number of obscure photos that must be retaken. For the greenhouses in the Bao Mountain, we only need to retake one photo. Based on the experiments, the mean average precision (mAP) of StrawberryTalk (to detect exact spots in a leaf) can be up to 92.37%, which is better than the previous approaches. To detect if a pot has infected leaves, the accuracy of StrawberryTalk can be up to 97.92% at the zoom factor 30×. In commercial operation, it is important to detect all infected strawberry pots. StrawberryTalk is able to detect all infected pots (i.e., recall is 100%) with a camera of zoom factor of 12× . The accuracy is 96.88%. © 2014 IEEE.

The participants of the cloud accounting resource sharing platform, resource providers and resource demanders, are the core factors that affect the development of the platform. Their behavior plays a decisive role in the speed and direction of the platform's development. Therefore, using an incomplete information static game model to analyze the game behavior between the platform and resource providers, and using an incomplete information dynamic game model to analyze the game behavior between the platform and resource demanders, the Nash equilibrium of both models can be obtained. It is known that the strategic choices of resource providers and resource demanders will affect the strategic choices of the platform, and then the factors affecting the Nash equilibrium are analyzed, and relevant suggestions are put forward to provide reference for the comprehensive development of the cloud accounting resource sharing platform.

The launch and recovery of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) have long relied on manual assistance, which is one of the important factors limiting the wide application of USV in practical engineering. Navigation and positioning technology is the key to achieve autonomous recovery of USV. However, at present, the recovery process of USV basically still adopts manual remote control means, with high security requirements and low level of intelligence. This paper firstly describes the current situation of the application of navigation and positioning technology in the process of autonomous recovery of USV from two aspects: long-range USV navigation and positioning technology and close-range target relative positioning technology. By combining the characteristics of INS, GNSS, DVL and vision sensors, the framework of robust navigation system for the autonomous recovery of USV is designed for each stage of the recovery process. Then the key technologies involved are analyzed, including USV multi-source navigation information fusion technology and close-range visual relative positioning technology, and the corresponding adaptive federal Kalman filter algorithm and monocular visual positioning system algorithm are designed to realize accurate navigation and positioning in the autonomous recovery of USV. Finally, the navigation and positioning techniques in the autonomous recovery of USV are summarized and prospected.

While a growing number of wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)are being retrofitted from the conventional activated sludge(CAS)process to the membrane bioreactor(MBR)process,the debate on the techno-economy of MBR *** has continued and calls for a thorough assessment based on techno-economic *** this study,we analyzed the operating data of 20 large-scale WWTPs(capacity≥10000 m^(3)/d)and compared their techno-economy before and after the retrofitting from CAS to *** cost-benefit analysis,we evaluated the net profit by subtracting the operating cost from the environmental benefit(estimated by the shadow price of pollutant removal and water reclamation).After the retrofitting,the removal rate of pollutants increased(e.g.,from 89.0%to 93.3%on average for NH3-N),the average energy consumption increased from 0.40 to 0.57 kWh/m^(3),but the operating cost did not increase *** average marginal environmental benefit increased remarkably(from 0.47 to 0.66 CNY/g for NH3-N removal),leading to an increase in the average net profit from 19.4 to 24.4 CNY/*** further scored the technical efficiencies via data envelopment analysis based on non-radial directional distance *** the retrofitting,the relative cost efficiency increased from 0.70 to 0.73(the theoretical maximum is 1),while the relative energy efficiency did not change *** techno-economy is closely related to the effluent standard adopted,particularly when truncating the extra benefit of pollutant removal beyond the standard in economic *** modeling results suggested that MBR is more profitable than CAS given stricter effluent standards.

The paper addresses the Network Roll-Out (NRO) problem aimed at scheduling the construction of mobile stations. In this case, NRO problem can be considered as a generalization of Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem, where we need to find a schedule for the activities related to the construction of a set of base stations taking into account the precedence constraints and the availability of resources while minimizing some measure of performance. The generalization involves the multiple projects, multi-modes, discrete time-cost tradeoff, together with particular business requirements like precedence redundancy and workload stability constraints. To solve this problem, we propose a MIP formulation that is based on a generalization of Disaggregated Discrete-Time formulation with pulse start variables. Using this formulation, we propose a three-stage heuristic based on a relax and fix strategy. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach are illustrated in a series of computational experiments on real-life problem instances. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Fine particles associated with haze pollution threaten the health of over 400 million people in China. Owing to excellent non-destructive fingerprint recognition characteristics, Raman and surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) are often used to analyze the composition of fine particles to determine their physical and chemical properties as well as reaction mechanisms. However, there is no comprehensive Raman spectral library of fine particles. Furthermore, various studies that used SERS for fine-particle composition analysis showed that the uniqueness of the SERS substrates and different excitation wavelengths can produce a different spectrum for the same fine-particle component. To overcome this limitation, we conducted SERS experiments with a portable Raman spectrometer using two common SERS substrates(silver(Ag) foil and gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)) and a 785 nm laser. Herein, we introduced three main particle component types(sulfate-nitrate-ammonium(SNA), organic material, and soot) with a total of 39 chemical substances. We scanned the solid Raman, liquid Raman, and SERS spectra of these substances and constructed a fine-particle reference library containing 105 spectra. Spectral results indicated that for soot and SNA, the differences in characteristic peaks mainly originated from the solid-liquid phase transition;Ag foil had little effect on this difference, while the Au NPs caused a significant red shift in the peak positions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Moreover, with various characteristic peak positions in the three types of spectra, we could quickly and correctly distinguish substances. We hope that this spectral library will aid in the future identification of fine particles.

Bacterial communities play a crucial role in permafrost biogeochemical cycling and ecosystem function *** interaction is one of the main factors in shaping soil bacterial ***,how would bacterial interaction influence the bacterial communities in permafrost of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)remains largely *** we collected paired soil samples from both the active and permafrost layers of two typical QTP permafrost regions in October 2020 for Tuotuohe River(TTH)and May 2022 for Aerjin(ARJ),and investigated the bacterial communities and the role of interactions in structuring the bacterial community and its assembly process through amplicon sequencing of the 16S rRNA *** study revealed distinct bacterial communities,with significant differences in the relative abundances of Proteobacteria(P<0.05),Acidobacteriota(P<0.001),Bacteroidota(P<0.05),and Planctomycetota(P<0.001)between the active layer and the permafrost *** importantly,we found that interspecies interactions,including both positive and negative associations,were strongly correlated with bacterial alpha-diversity and played a significant role in community variation and assembly *** findings also showed that the community assembly in both the active and permafrost layers was primarily driven by homogeneous selection of deterministic processes,with interspecies interactions accounting for more than 58%and 63%of all assembly mechanisms,*** is the first study to quantify the contribution of bacterial interactions in shaping the bacterial community and its assembly process in permafrost of QTP,highlighting the importance of considering interspecies interactions in future modeling *** work also emphasizes the necessity of including interspecies interactions in microbial process projections to reduce uncertainty.

The emerging virtual coupling technology aims to operate multiple train units in a Virtually Coupled Train Set(VCTS)at a minimal but safe *** guarantee collision avoidance,the safety distance should be calculated using the state-of-the-art space-time separation principle that separates the Emergency Braking(EB)trajectories of two successive units during the whole EB *** this case,the minimal safety distance is usually numerically calculated without an analytic ***,the constrained VCTS control problem is hard to address with space-time separation,which is still a gap in the existing *** solve this problem,we propose a Distributed Economic Model Predictive Control(DEMPC)approach with computation efficiency and theoretical ***,to alleviate the computation burden,we transform implicit safety constraints into explicitly linear ones,such that the optimal control problem in DEMPC is a quadratic programming problem that can be solved *** theoretical analysis,sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the recursive feasibility and stability of DEMPC,employing compatibility constraints,tube techniques and terminal ingredient ***,we extend our approach with globally optimal and distributed online EB configuration methods to shorten the minimal distance among ***,experimental results demonstrate the performance and advantages of the proposed approaches.
