Protein biomarkers represent specific biological activities and processes, so they have had a critical role in cancer diagnosis and medical care for more than 50 years. With the recent improvement in proteomics technologies, thousands of protein biomarker candidates have been developed for diverse disease states. Studies have used different types of samples for proteomics diagnosis. Samples were pretreated with appropriate techniques to increase the selectivity and sensitivity of the downstream analysis and purified to remove the contaminants. The purified samples were analyzed by several principal proteomics techniques to identify the specific protein. In this study, recent improvements in protein biomarker discovery, verification, and validation are investigated. Furthermore, the advantages, and disadvantages of conventional techniques, are discussed. Studies have used mass spectroscopy (MS) as a critical technique in the identification and quantification of candidate biomarkers. Nevertheless, after protein biomarker discovery, verification and validation have been required to reduce the false-positive rate where there have been higher number of samples. Multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), parallel reaction monitoring (PRM), and selected reaction monitoring (SRM), in combination with stable isotope-labeled internal standards, have been examined as options for biomarker verification, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for validation.

The rapid accumulation of conglomerates not only preserves tectonic episodes and uplift/denudation histories of the orogenic belt, but also correlates with the coupling process of basin and mountain. Two units of conglomerates that belong to the third (Mbr 3) and fourth (Mbr 4) members of the Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation, are distributed along the northern Sichuan basin. Mbr 4 has an unconformable contact on Mbr 3. Mbr 3 is dominated by carbonate gravels forming fan-shaped deposits distributed discontinuously whereas Mbr 4 consists of massive quartzite gravels that extend eastward continuously. Detrital zircon U-Pb data show the peak age of 227 Ma from the Qinling orogenic belt are widespread in Mbr 3, but occur in only the central part of the northern Sichuan basin of Mbr 4. However, paleocurrent indicators and sandstone petrologic data reveal both units were sourced from the Qinling orogen. We interpret the differences in clastic compositions and U-Pb ages as reflecting discrepant uplift and rapid unroofing processes of the Qinling orogenic belt, which underwent continual uplift and southward thrusting. This process controlled the evolution and infilling of the Late Triassic Sichuan foreland basin in the tectonic domains of syn-collision between the South China and North China Blocks.

In this paper, a digital twin model-based method for condition monitoring of inverter power modules is proposed. The method utilizes the existing sensor data of the inverter to realize the health monitoring of the power module. The switching process of power modules is accurately reconstructed using an analytical model that considers circuit parasitic parameters and nonlinearities in the model parameters. A thermal network model and a fast loss calculation method are used to realize a rapid and accurate estimation of the junction temperature of power modules.
