The information-centric communication in the future internet requires the design of a scalable name resolution system. A fundamental challenge is to improve the name resolution performance by approximating resolvers to the requesters worldwide. This paper proposes mhDHT (multi-hashing distributed Hash Table), a DHT-based name resolution system that addresses this challenge. Given an object name, mhDHT stores the name-to-locator mappings in multiple resolvers nodes. To resolve a name to its locator, a requester can then select the nearest node. A performance study of the mhDHT provides evidence that it is feasible with todays internet technology.

This paper aims to provide planning policies enabling self-adaptation of composed Web services in case of failure or Quality of Service (QoS) degradation. Therefore, we employ orchestration process mobility using different techniques. And, we propose a set of rules enabling the selection, at runtime, of the mobility techniques according to current execution conditions. These rules are validated through the evaluation of each mobility technique under different execution conditions in order to deduce which technique is more suitable in each condition.

It is based on Timed Automata as model for testing WS-BPEL implementations, a distributed testing framework that automatically generates and executes parallel tests online, and an algorithm for online test generation and execution. This work focuses on testing the consistency of distributed real-time systems when their configurations evolve dynamically, called also adaptable systems. In this context, runtime testing which is carried out on the final execution environment is emerging as a new solution for the validation of these systems. To reduce testing effort, cost and time, we apply the dependency analysis technique in order to identify affected parts of the system under test due to runtime reconfiguration. In addition, we propose a flexible and evolvable distributed test architecture made of two kinds of testers: Single Component Testers and Component Composition Testers. These testers execute unit tests (respectively integration tests) on the affected components (respectively component compositions) as soon as reconfiguration actions occur. An illustrative example describing interactions between the proposed testers when two reconfiguration scenarios happen is given.

Service Level Agreements (SLA) management has been the subject of intensive research. However, the existing protocols for SLA negotiation and generation have not addressed the issue of the knowledge difference between clients and the providers. In this paper, we present the implementation of our automatic matching approach between the client and the provider in order to bridge the gap between their knowledge degrees. Our matching approach is based on inference techniques and semantic interpretation. The first step of this approach consists in generating correspondences between the client and the provider terms by assigning a certainty degree for their equivalence. The second step corrects and refines these certainties. In the third step, we evaluate the matching results. In case of compatibility, in the last step, a draft version of an agreement is automatically generated. In this paper, we present the implementation of the three first steps.

In this paper, a new SVM (Support Vector Machines) synthesis method is presented. This method is based essentially on training criterion optimization of this machine by a set of hierarchical structures of learning automata. This methodology is adopted for the development of off-line isolated handwritten digits recognition system. A comparison is taken between this new approach and that of a standard approach for SVM synthesis. These two methodologies are also compared with a neural network based classification method. The obtained results show the performances of the new suggested method for SVM synthesis.
