Solar Radiation (SR) is crucial for the energy balance at the Earth's surface, evaporation, snow melting, plant water needs, and catchment hydrological regulation. In this regard, the major goal of this research is constructing a mathematical model or in other words empirical model to estimate the amount of SR upon a horizontal region in terms of latitude for four Indian cities. The cities considered for this work are NewDelhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Coimbatore. Based on the input parameters, two categories of empirical models are developed namely, category 1 is sunshine duration (SD) based models and category 2 is air temperature (AT) based models. For performance evaluation, the metrics mean percentage error (MPE), mean bias error (MBE), mean absolute bias error (MABE), root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and coefficient of determination (R2). The results signify that both the category of empirical models have a promising capability in this field of research and can hence be an efficient option for solar forecasting. © 2022 IEEE.

Daily pressure activity especially in work place or any society condition may causing stress or pressure for the people deal with that condition. This stress may causing of decreasing of work performance and achievement in the daily activity. Furthermore in worse condition, people may went to psychiatrist consulting regarding the condition in order to heal the stress or pressure feeling. In this work, food recommendation healing in order to improve the mood based on mood recognition using heartbeat rate detection system is developed. Mood detection results will be used to recommend foods that can improve the mood. the mood detection system work based on automatic intelligent heartbeat rate identification. This system installed on an Android cellphone, so its make the system more flexible and portable. the system has also connected to the web, in order used by doctors to monitor the patient's condition if the patient is being monitoring due to health mental diseases treatment. This system has worked properly with mood detection based on heartbeat rate with 96% and 97%, training and testing accuracy, respectively. Furthermore, this system is connected to the website for monitoring purposes for the psychiatrist to monitor their patient intern of mood changing fluctuation © 2022 IEEE.

In NFC applications, user privacy information must be protected first. Cao and Liu recently proposed a lightweight NFC authentication scheme based on an improved hash function to ensure that the user's private information will not be leaked. Although their method is highly efficient and has Mutual Authentication, Forward Security, Backward Security, and security against attacks such as Replay, Location, and Fake, once out of synchronization occurs, the method must reestablish synchronization data. Therefore, this article will propose a lightweight synchronization method. © 2023 IEEE.

In a nutshell, the IoT refers to the idea of integrating high-tech technology in the form of "smart"gadgets and sensors into a single setting to gather data. There are still numerous areas in which machines cannot compete favorably with people, but data collection and analysis are undeniably two of their strongest points. The Internet of Things makes it possible to fully or partially automation data, it involves related activities, which is obviously very important for the healthcare industry. What exactly is the Internet connected medical things, and how exactly might it make a significant impact on the sector? By having to apply the concept of the internet of things (IoT) to the field of medicine, several significant advancements have become possible, including the ability to automatically control the thermostat of containers while transmitting inoculations and antibiotics, the accurate tracking of the ailments of a lot of illnesses without a need for additional meetings with a general practitioner, the correct and most useful use of meds, and a great deal more. All of this is realizable because of the capability of MedTech gadgets to carry out continuous monitoring system. Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process. © 2023 IEEE.

Material informatics-driven insights into brain cancer nanocarriers: A bibliometric comparison of PLGA vs. liposomes

This study explores a comparative analysis of PLGA nanoparticles and liposomes as potential carriers for brain cancer drug delivery, with a special focus on how material informatics enhances their design, biocompatibility, and drug release profiles to improve treatment efficacy and contribute to sustainable health outcomes. The investigation employed a bibliometric analysis using Scopus and VOSviewer to uncover the role of material informatics in optimizing these nanocarriers. The analysis revealed that material informatics, particularly through the application of machine learning and molecular dynamics simulations, significantly optimizes the performance of both PLGA nanoparticles and liposomes. The results highlighted distinct strengths of each nanocarrier: PLGA nanoparticles excel in biodegradability, while liposomes offer superior drug encapsulation capabilities. However, material informatics techniques bridged these enhancing drug release kinetics, stability, and biocompatibility. These improvements are crucial for effective delivery across the blood-brain barrier, a major challenge in brain cancer treatment. The integration of computational modelling, machine learning, and high-throughput screening enabled by material informatics is shown to be a key factor in advancing the design and optimization of these nanocarriers. By leveraging these tools, researchers can develop more personalized and efficient drug delivery systems tailored to address the specific challenges of glioblastoma therapy, ultimately contributing to sustainable health outcomes © 2024 The Author(s)

A semi-analytical finite element method(SAFEM),based on the two-scale asymptotic homogenization method(AHM)and the finite element method(FEM),is implemented to obtain the effective properties of two-phase fiber-reinforced composites(FRCs).The fibers are periodically distributed and unidirectionally aligned in a homogeneous *** framework addresses the static linear elastic micropolar problem through partial differential equations,subject to boundary conditions and perfect interface contact *** mathematical formulation of the local problems and the effective coefficients are presented by the *** local problems obtained from the AHM are solved by the FEM,which is denoted as the *** numerical results are provided,and the accuracy of the solutions is analyzed,indicating that the formulas and results obtained with the SAFEM may serve as the reference points for validating the outcomes of experimental and numerical computations.

Circular dichroism(CD)spectroscopy has been widely demonstrated for detecting chiral ***,the determination of chiral mixtures with various concentrations and enantiomeric ratios can be a challenging *** solve this problem,we report an enhanced vibrational circular dichroism(VCD)sensing platform based on plasmonic chiral metamaterials,which presents a 6-magnitude signal enhancement with a selectivity of chiral *** by coupled-mode theory,we leverage both in-plane and out-of-plane symmetry-breaking structures for chiral metamaterial design enabled by a two-step lithography process,which increases the near-field coupling strengths and varies the ratio between absorption and radiation loss,resulting in improved chiral light-matter interaction and enhanced molecular VCD ***,we demonstrate the thin-film sensing process of BSA andβ-lactoglobulin proteins,which contain secondary structures a-helix andβ-sheet and achieve a limit of detection down to zeptomole ***,we also,for the first time,explore the potential of enhanced VCD spectroscopy by demonstrating a selective sensing process of chiral mixtures,where the mixing ratio can be successfully differentiated with our proposed chiral *** findings improve the sensing signal of molecules and expand the extractable information,paving the way toward label-free,compact,small-volume chiral molecule detection for stereochemical and clinical diagnosisapplications.

In the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, autonomous object manipulation has emerged as a pivotal research domain, finding applications in sectors as diverse as manufacturing and healthcare. While significant strides have been made in object identification, trajectory planning, and manipulation tasks, these advancements often fall short in real-world, dynamic settings, revealing a critical research gap in algorithmic adaptability and computational efficiency. This paper addresses the gap by applying YOLOv4, a state-of-the-art object detection AI algorithm, within the context of the RoboCup Autonomous Robot Manipulation (ARM) Challenge - a competitive platform designed to simulate real-world complexities in autonomous systems. The research objectives are twofold: firstly, the performance of YOLOv4 in object detection and classification under dynamically changing conditions is rigorously evaluated, employing varied training strategies in both simulated and real-world scenarios. Secondly, the robustness and adaptability of the algorithm in object manipulation tasks are scrutinized and facilitated by the real-world dynamics inherent to the competition. Empirical results demonstrate the algorithm's high accuracy, efficiency, and robustness in dynamic environments, substantiating its broader applicability in the development of autonomous systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Air-side economizers are increasingly used to take advantage of“free-cooling”in data centers with the intent of reducing the carbon footprint of ***,they can introduce outdoor pollutants to indoor environment of data centers and cause corrosion damage to the information technology *** evaluate the reliability of information technology equipment under various thermal and air-pollution conditions,a mechanistic model based on multi-ion transport and chemical reactions was *** model was used to predict Cu corrosion caused by Cl_(2)-containing pollutant *** also accounted for the effects of temperature(25℃and 28℃),relative humidity(50%,75%,and 95%),and *** also identified higher air temperature as a corrosion barrier and higher relative humidity as a corrosion accelerator,which agreed well with the experimental *** average root mean square error of the prediction was 13.7Å.The model can be used to evaluate the thermal guideline for data centers design and operation when Cl_(2)is present based on pre-established acceptable risk of corrosion in data centers’environment.
