Optimization of Intelligent Classroom based on CAD Multi-Valued Color Image Segmentation Algorithm

In order to solve the problem that the efficiency of smart classroom is not high enough, a multi valued color image segmentation algorithm based on CAD is proposed to optimize the smart classroom. This paper explores the notion of smart education as well as a conceptual framework to enable children to receive excellent education and to spark their interest through creative learning. Firstly, CAD software is used to improve software design efficiency and optimize product technology;Secondly, the core technology of the smart classroom is improved by using the national value color image segmentation algorithm, and compared with the smart classroom without the multi value color image segmentation algorithm;Finally, the utilization efficiency of the improved smart classroom is counted. It is proved that the smart classroom based on CAD multi valued color image segmentation algorithm can give greater play to the role of smart classroom, reduce the teaching pressure of teachers by 20% and improve the learning efficiency of students by 20%. The intelligent classroom has a higher degree of informatization and more powerful functions, which is of great help to promote classroom communication and improve communication efficiency. The smart classroom is easier to run and adapt thanks to the optimization of the CAD multi threshold color picture segmentation algorithm, which considerably improves the system's work efficiency and capability. However, the smart classroom also has its own shortcomings, which are mainly reflected in the high investment cost, the complex design of the system and the high maintenance cost in the later stage. With the optimization of CAD multi valued color image segmentation algorithm, the smart classroom is easier to operate and adjust, which greatly enhances the work efficiency and ability of the system. © 2023 CAD Solutions, LLC.

This paper demonstrated a Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL)using an organic saturable absorber(SA)based on 8-HQCdCl_(2)H_(2)O *** organic thin film was prepared using the casting *** proposed Q-switched EDFL has a maximum repetition rate of 143 kHz,minimum pulse duration of 1.85μs and the highest pulse energy of 167 *** Q-switched peak laser was at a central wavelength of 1531 nm with a 3 dB bandwidth of 3.52 nm and power intensity of 2.64 dBm.

Boasting superior flexibility in beam manipulation and a simpler framework than traditional phased arrays,terahertz metasurface-based phased arrays show great promise for 5G-A/6G communication *** with the reflective reconfigurable intelligent surface(reflective RIS),the transmissive RIS(TRIS)offers more feasibility for transceiver multiplexing systems to meet the growing demand for high-performance beam tracking in terahertz communication and radar ***,the terahertz TRIS encounters greater challenges in phase shift,beam efficiency,and complex ***,we propose a sub-terahertz TRIS based on the phase shift via Pancharatnam-Berry(PB)metasurface and self-on-off keying(OOK)modulation via Schottky *** electrically reconfigurable unit cell consists of a column-wise phase resonator and a rectangular *** experimental retrieved equivalent lumped-element circuit model is implemented in joint field-circuit simulations and is validated by experiments.A fabricated prototype demonstrates excellent performance of TRIS with the minimum insertion loss of 2.8 dB for operational states,large bandwidth nearly covering the entire W-band for 1-bit phase shift,deep OOK amplitude modulation of 12 dB,and wide scanning range of±60°with low specular *** further implement an integrated platform combining high-speed beam steering and spatial-light modulation,verifying the point-to-point signal transmissions in different directions using the TRIS *** proposed TRIS with high-performance and cost-effective fabrication makes it a promising solution to terahertz minimalist communication systems,radar,and satellite communication systems.

GIRP: Energy-Efficient QoS-Oriented Microservice Resource Provisioning via Multi-Objective Multi-Task Reinforcement Learning

Microservice architecture has revolutionized web service development by facilitating loosely coupled and independently developable components distributed as containers or virtual machines. While existing studies emphasize end-to-end latency, this paper investigates energy-efficient quality-of-service (QoS)-oriented microservice provisioning, focusing on both QoS satisfaction and power consumption (PC) conservation. We propose the Green and Intelligent Resource Provision (GIRP) architecture, integrating a data-driven energy-latency-aware resource allocation and scheduling manager to balance latency and PC. To reconcile the trade-offs involved, a dual-objective optimization problem is formulated to minimize latency and energy use by selecting proper servers, allocating CPU cores, and determining service replicas. To address challenges with discrete variables, dual objectives, and implicit mappings, we leverage a model-free deep deterministic policy gradient-based reinforcement learning algorithm. Specifically, we develop a multi-task agent via the Multi-gate Mixture-of-Experts model to simultaneously make two separate actions regarding CPU core numbers and service replica numbers, followed by a single-task agent to determine service scheduling. Extensive experiments on the DeathStarBenchmark testbed validate GIRP's effectiveness, demonstrating approximately 52% resource savings and a 43% reduction in PC compared to leading methods like Sinan, Firm, and heuristic-based algorithms. These results highlight GIRP's capability to optimize microservice orchestration by balancing end-to-end latency and power efficiency. © 2025 IEEE. All rights reserved.

In pursuit of autonomous vehicles, achieving human-like driving behavior is vital. This study introduces adaptive autopilot (AA), a unique framework utilizing constrained-deep reinforcement learning (C-DRL). AA aims to safely emulate human driving to reduce the necessity for driver intervention. Focusing on the car-following scenario, the process involves (i) extracting data from the highD natural driving study and categorizing it into three driving styles using a rule-based classifier;(ii) employing deep neural network (DNN) regressors to predict human-like acceleration across styles;and (iii) using C-DRL, specifically the soft actor-critic Lagrangian technique, to learn human-like safe driving policies. Results indicate effectiveness in each step, with the rule-based classifier distinguishing driving styles, the regressor model accurately predicting acceleration, outperforming traditional car-following models, and C-DRL agents learning optimal policies for humanlike driving across styles. © 2024 IEEE.

White matter hyperintensities (WMHs) are critical indicators of cerebral small vessel disease and are linked to stroke and cognitive decline. Accurate WHM segmentation is challenging due to limited contrast and small size, particularly for deep WMHs where T1-weighted and FLAIR MRI are routinely used. Image fusion offers a method to combine two modalities into one fused modality useful for WHM segmentation. We propose DeAFusion: Detail-Aware Image Fusion, a novel image fusion framework. This framework introduces a Pixel-wise Information Preservation Degree map to enable detailed control of fusion at the pixel level and incorporates segmentation loss to embed semantic information. Our model outperforms existing fusion methods in enhancing lesion visibility and preserving structural details, as demonstrated on both public and in-house datasets. In this letter, parallel micro-LED arrays with numbers of 1×1, 1×2, 2×2 and 2×3 were fabricated and the p-electrode patterns of arrays were optimized. The results show that both the light output power (LOP) and modulation bandwidth increase with the parallel array numbers. Moreover, optimizing the p-electrode pattern can effectively facilitate current spreading, mitigate thermal crowding, and enhance the LOP. Under combined with the LOP and thermal effect, the 2 × 2 ring-electrode parallel array achieved the highest modulation bandwidth of 172 MHz and maximum LOP of 5.70 mW, which were improved by 17.28% and 13.98%, respectively. This work provides a reference to design micro-LED chip for high bandwidth. © 1980-2012 IEEE.

With the rise of artificial intelligence, the automotive industry searched for novel ways to improve future product design. We focus on designing automatic MacPherson suspension architecture for the automotive sector. It takes time for an automotive engineer to design vehicle parts and thus slows the pace of innovation in this field. Given the car's particular kinematic characteristics, we propose to predict an architecture by positioning the hardpoints. This work deals with the biased data generated using the discipline models using the dataset shift learning paradigm. The optimized data are created with random and uniform sampling, with more samples with random sampling. We resolve the bias in the data, using a novel criterion for tuning the kernel mean matching and a weight estimation algorithm and designing the required target characteristics. © 2023 IEEE.
