In this role she identifies potential external funding opportunities for workforce development and diversity. This includes preparing grants for submission to key federal agencies and working closely with faculty key university executives and department chairs to identify opportunities strengths and potential focus areas for training initiatives. Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean in the Graduate School at WSU. She oversees graduate enrollment management efforts including recruitment admissions and competency-based professional development with micro-credentialing. She is the Wayne State co-PI of the NSF-funded Michigan Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate to support women and underrepresented graduate students in STEM and the Social and Behavioral Sciences.
