Aiming at the disadvantage of the conventional mechanical press, the concept and characteristics of the servo press are represented. A novel press control approach and slide driven structure is proposed. Each loop of the slide motion control system is analyzed and the corresponding mathematic model is established, furthermore, the simulation model based on Simulink software is set up according to the mathematic model, and the simulation experiments are carried out. Based on the demand of press control and monitoring, the servo press top control software is developed. Finally, an actual system and its operation status were introduced.

Vascular injury is an important damage mechanism of cancer treatment modalities such as cryotherapy and hyperthermia. In this study, tumor microvasculature response to locally alternated cold and heat treatment has been studied via microscope observation and histopathological analysis. The tumor vascular permeability to Rhodamine labeled 100 nm liposomes at different temperatures was quantitatively studied. Murine mammary carcinoma 4T1 was implanted in the nude mice dorsal skin fold window chamber. Either cold or heat, or the alternated cold and heat treatment was imposed to the mouse tumor inside the window by a thermal chamber. There appeared massive hemorrhage in both the periphery and center of the tumor after the alternated cold and heat treatment. Histopathological analysis indicates severe vessel damage and large necrotic tumor tissue areas. Results of permeability measurements show that the liposome nanoparticles hardly extravasate into the tumor interstitium under normal conditions. But the permeability of the tumor vasculature could be significantly enhanced either by increasing or lowering the local temperature

Based on the analysis of the basic concepts and features of workflow and business object, etc., sch.duling algorithms for workflow engine and data flow of inter-activity were proposed. By borrowing process instance data produced by workflow engine, control scope and ability of workflow engine were extended to man-machine interface. This mechanism extended the core ideology of traditional workflow engine, so that interactions among data could be processed under control. Operation efficiency was improved by changing the interaction pattern from manual search to automatic retrieval.

In this paper, the new method of speech modeling which is called SYMPES is introduced and it is compared with the commercially available methods. It is shown that for the same compression ratio or better, SYMPES yields considerably better hearing quality over the coders such as G.726 at 16 Kbps and voice excited LPC-10E of 2.4Kbps.

When condition matching used for color representation based on standard observer, metamer exists inherently which lowers the accuracy of color production and color communication. A new multispectral space is developed in this paper by means of hybrid algorithm, i.e., cluster analysis with principal component analysis for color representation. Results show that the multispectral space not only keeping the structure of the original space but eliminating zero-crosses as well its accuracy of color representation is higher.

The paper presents the emulsion method with ZnCl2 and TAA as raw materials, and span-80, tween-80 as compound surface active agents and utilizes the a forementioned method to produce nanometer ZnS particles. The nanoparticles were studied using XRD, AFM and PL. The XRD shows that the particles are of cubic crystallites structure. Atom force microscope is used to obtain precise particle size distribution, and the result indicates that the size is in a range of 10 to 30 nm. Emission spectrum has been elaborated to characterize its optical property.

In a mobile computing environment, low functionality of handheld devices restricts services provided for mobile users. We have proposed a concept of collaborative browsing where mobile users collaboratively browse a rich Web page designed for desktop PCs that cannot be displayed on one device. In collaborative browsing, a rich Web page is divided into multiple partial pages and then each of them is distributed to each device. In this paper, we propose a content description method to realize collaborative browsing. We also describe a content partitioning method, by which contents described in the content description method are divided into multiple sets of objects.
