The electronics panels and controllers used in electric vehicle (EV) charging stations need to function securely and optimally in countries such as India, where the external temperature remains high for a significant part of the year. This study is the first to use a solar-battery storage integrated switchable glazing architecture to supply HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) in the control rooms of electric vehicle charging stations throughout the day. The EV charging station has been equipped with a rooftop-mounted solar PV source as part of an initiative to promote renewable energy and sustainable forms of mobility. The utilization of a vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) by the system ensures energy security through the provision of a durable solution for storing energy over an extended period of time. A smart scheduling system utilizing IoT technology was demonstrated to effectively meet the glazing load need of buildings in real-time, taking into account dynamic climatic conditions. This system incorporates solar PV, VRFB storage, and the neighborhood power grid. The efficiency of the suggested method was validated using four separate transitory scenarios: sunny, intermittently cloudy, prolongedly cloudy, and low solar radiation with frequent grid outages. Due to its versatility to be applied in various situations, the suggested method has the potential to greatly enhance capacity. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). Domain-Scalable Unpaired Image Translation via Latent Space Anchoring

Unpaired image-to-image translation (UNIT) aims to map images between two visual domains without paired training data. However, given a UNIT model trained on certain domains, it is difficult for current methods to incorporate new domains because they often need to train the full model on both existing and new domains. To address this problem, we propose a new domain-scalable UNIT method, termed as latent space anchoring, which can be efficiently extended to new visual domains and does not need to fine-tune encoders and decoders of existing domains. Our method anchors images of different domains to the same latent space of frozen GANs by learning lightweight encoder and regressor models to reconstruct single-domain images. In the inference phase, the learned encoders and decoders of different domains can be arbitrarily combined to translate images between any two domains without fine-tuning. Experiments on various datasets show that the proposed method achieves superior performance on both standard and domain-scalable UNIT tasks in comparison with the state-of-the-art methods. © 1979-2012 IEEE.

In the fields of computer vision and gesture recognition, Recognizing Kuchipudi mudras in the real time, a traditional Indian dance form, is one of the challenging tasks. In this research work, an innovative solution was proposed for this problem. Support Vector Machine model along with The Google's Mediapipe framework are used for the real-time recognition of Kuchipudi mudras. The goal is to build a system that is able to differentiate the complex hand mudras in Kuchipudi performances with good accuracy and efficiency. The methodology includes image capture and preprocessing, extraction of hand landmarks by Mediapipe, as well as training an SVM model on a labeled data set. In addition to the above, real-time testing of the model is performed, and the webcam makes it possible to identify and display predicted mudras almost instantly. The SVM model correctly predicts various Kuchipudi's mudras. The presented research opens up the expressly possibility of real-time detection of movements in traditional dances and, in the future, can be used as a software module for teaching and grading dancers. I have used the Support Vector Machine technique;it resulted in surprisingly accurate detection of unique hand movements in Kuchipudi. © 2024 IEEE.

Cover lossless robust watermarking technology is one of the frontier hotspots in the field of information hiding. It can fully restore the original image without external attacks, while when there is an attack, it can extract robust watermarks for secure verification. Most of the countermeasures proposed in the literature are robust to geometric attacks, but most schemes are less imperceptible, mainly due to the fixed location of the embeddings. In this paper, we propose a Zernike moments-based robust and reversible watermarking scheme. It embeds robust watermarks in low-order Zernike moments to keep their rotational invariance, thus it can be used for information authentication and is not easy to detect. Then the reversible watermark is embedded outside the robust watermark region as compensation information to fully restore the original image. The proposed scheme enables the image has the ability to restore the image and secure verification at the same time. Theoretical and simulation results show that it has better bit error rate and imperceptibility. © 2023 IEEE.

Many machine learning tasks based on graph embedding achieved significant results in a wide range of fields, such as node clustering and link prediction. However, the original graph data may contain confidential information about individuals or organizations, which could be revealed through the publication of graphs or even via embeddings of graphs. While datasets contain highly private sensitive information, graph embedding methods which do not consider any privacy protection measures become impractical. Researchers recently have explored how differential privacy can be employed to a number of machine learning tasks, but differential privacy embedding methods for graphs have not been considered yet to the best of our knowledge. To address this problem, we propose a differential privacy embedding methods for graphs, named dp-graph2vec, based on gradient perturbation. In dp-graph2vec, we design a training mechanism called Average-Negative Sampling Update(ANSU) to solve the problem of privacy accounting. We proved that the mechanism satisfies the definition of differential privacy. Finally, we demonstrated results on various public datasets. Experiments and theory show that dp-graph2vec can strike a balance between privacy protection and data utility. © 2024 IEEE.

The objective of this research is to propose an AI based novel augmented reality (AR) software to assist users in operating a wide range of technical and non-technical devices. The project's aim is to make this AR application, which provides detailed explanations of all the device's functions, more widely used than traditional user manuals. Augmented reality, which overlays digital information onto the real world, can be employed to develop an AR-based user manual for products or devices. Mobile applications that use a camera to recognize a product or device and display dynamic graphics, such as 3 D models, animations, or text, are one example of AR user manuals. These augmented reality user manuals enable consumers to quickly and easily learn how to operate, assemble, repair, or troubleshoot their purchased products. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm was able to recognize the object accurately with a percentage of 95.2%. © 2024 IEEE.

Many real world activities in computer science scenarios are linked with concurrency and security related issues and have to handle large number of processes to be executed in parallel with false safe security solutions. There are many traditional methods in programming languages to handle concurrency. Concurrency is one of the major issues that need to be addressed by most of the servers when dealing with the group communication operations. Security of the data as well as the credibility of the users are the other aspects when a group of users involve in real-time communication. Many light-weighted servers are designed to carryout elementary operations of request handling, file sharing etc. In design of such servers having large number of clients, the request service handling will be based on the individual server programs. Keeping track of individual credibility and establishing concurrency solutions in server design is challenging. The whole work describes the significance and implementation of an Erlang based XMPP server in comparison with a Python based XMPP server with a view to service the client request handling operations for sending messages, group chatting, buddy-list creation, presence identification integrated with XML messaging pattern as per the XMPP protocol. We also accomplish the security and credibility of the users using a blockchain based interface that keep track of user activities during group communication. The security analysis is also performed for blockchain based interface. © 2023 IEEE.

Simulation continues to be highly attractive and indispensable for studying networked systems. There remains the need for simulators that can support efficient execution in large-scale, complex models and can offer a theoretical underpinning with model abstractions. A qualified and effective simulator is still hard to find in education and research. To obtain a better solution in education and research, a collection of the parallel DEVS-based computer network model components is presented in this article. The Discrete Event System Specification (DEVS) is a mathematical modeling formalism for describing (discrete and continuous) dynamical systems. Among discrete event modeling approaches, it is well suited for formally describing concurrent processing and the event-driven nature of arbitrary configuration of nodes and links forming network systems. The suggested system is developed by emphasizing the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol. These expressive models are realized in the DEVS-Suite simulator as DEVS-Suite provides a robust environment with rich support for designing experiments and visualization. Visualization representation of a typical routing protocol logic with routing tables and control packet provides better support for active learning, particularly for distance education in COVID-19 disease. The resulting OSPF-DEVS simulation environment offers a model abstraction well-suited to educational environments. An exemplary computer network model is developed and evaluated in both simulators.
