Hyperspectral images have a lot of spatial and spectral information, which makes them great for fine crop classification and detection. The hyperspectral remote sensing is more capable than panchromatic remote sensing of obtaining the spectral characteristics and their differences with greater precision. One of the most crucial methods for classifying crops is to make use of remote sensing technology to advance agricultural development. This survey is focusing on the review of various techniques implemented in 25 research papers. The crop identification performance metrics, techniques, published year, dataset used, and tools used are reviewed in this survey. Also, the research gaps and issues in the existing researches are discussed, which offers the ideas for developing new techniques for crop identification. © 2023 IEEE.

In the realm of real-time applications such as autonomous driving and surveillance, efficient vehicle detection stands as a paramount concern. The revolutionary You Only Look Once (YOLO) framework, renowned for its rapid object recognition, has reshaped this landscape. This study delves into the fusion of real-time vehicle detection and YOLO v8, optimizing its architecture for swift and precise identification. Empirical validation underscores the model's prowess, achieving a remarkable accuracy of 97.9% on mAP50 and 91.3% on mAP50-95. This achievement not only attests to the model's accuracy but also reaffirms its real-time processing capabilities. The implications resonate across transportation safety and urban planning, promising transformative potential. This research underscores the power of YOLO v8 in intelligent object detection, poised to reshape and enhance various domains. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet has spread to quite large area and has a great share in communication systems. The protection of data during transfer from one point to another has also gained importance because of attacks. Data can be sent and received as sound, image, text etc. Structure of digital image offers us advantages for hiding while transferring data. Therefore, the use of steganography, known as confidentiality, by means of digital images will reduce violations from any external environment and consequently allow us to communicate reliably. Least significant bit (LSB) is well known method for image steganography where channel to be used is predefined. Thus, it is weak approach basically. In this study, channel hopping strategy where the channel to be used to store data bits are changed with a pseudo-random number generator (PRNG). A chaotic logistic map was used as PRNG, and its parameters were assigned as key vector. Consequently, confidentiality of data hiding has been increased. © 2023 IEEE.

The intuitive fuzzy set has found important application in decision-making and machine *** enrich and utilize the intuitive fuzzy set,this study designed and developed a deep neural network-based glaucoma eye detection using fuzzy difference equations in the domain where the retinal images *** image detections are categorized as normal eye recognition,suspected glaucomatous eye recognition,and glaucomatous eye *** degrees associated with weighted values are calculated to determine the level of concentration between the fuzzy partition and the retinal *** proposed model was used to diagnose glaucoma using retinal images and involved utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and deep learning to identify the fuzzy weighted regularization between *** methodology was used to clarify the input images and make them adequate for the process of glaucoma *** objective of this study was to propose a novel approach to the early diagnosis of glaucoma using the Fuzzy Expert System(FES)and Fuzzy differential equation(FDE).The intensities of the different regions in the images and their respective peak levels were *** the peak regions were identified,the recurrence relationships among those peaks were then *** partitioning was done due to varying degrees of similar and dissimilar concentrations in the *** and dissimilar concentration levels and spatial frequency generated a threshold image from the combined fuzzy matrix and *** distinguished between a normal and abnormal eye condition,thus detecting patients with glaucomatous eyes.

The metaverse is a developing field that crosses several areas of multimedia research. In this paper, we introduce the 256-MetaverseRecords dataset, a novel and extensive collection of annotated screen recordings in the form of videos from various virtual worlds of the metaverse. We describe the process of creating the dataset, the quality criteria for the annotations, and the exploration of the dataset. We also show four experiments to evaluate the performance of different feature extraction methods for Metaverse Recordings (MVRs): MVR segmentation, audio event detection, and object and interaction detection based on this dataset. Our results demonstrate that existing methods have limitations and leave challenges in dealing with the diversity and complexity of metaverse data, and that more research is needed to develop metaverse-specific techniques. Our dataset can serve as a valuable resource for the research community and foster the development of new applications and solutions for the metaverse. © 2024 Owner/Author.

The studied process is a grinding and hydroclassification unit designed to ensure that the grain size it processes is in line with the specifications for the pipe's transport mode. Obstacles to the unit's operational process include frequent stops, plant's low reliability, product delivery with an inappropriate grain size, and a lack of control over operating parameters. These factors have a significant impact on the unit's relevance and, consequently, its performance. We created a quality culture among operators with '0 grain quality loss' through the implementation of the quality and processes control study, which was essential to improve the situation. Thus, by completing the seven project stages, we were able to enhance and optimize the grinding and hydroclassification unit's overall performance and capability to regulate the grain size quality. We noticed a notable improvement in regulating the several parameters that affect the targeted particle size after we established tools for unit quality control, such as control and monitoring charts, reaction matrices, intervention flow charts and operational standards. The unit has seen a great deal of satisfaction from the project in terms of quality, process control and resources optimization. Moreover, the incorporation of preventive maintenance into this process has shown to be crucial in guaranteeing the reliability and durability of the installation, thereby substantially improving the unit's overall efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

Wavefront shaping allows focusing light through or inside strongly scattering media, but the background intensity also increases which reduces the target’s contrast. By combining transmission or deposition matrices for different regions, we construct joint operators to achieve spatially resolved control of light in diffusive systems. The eigenmode of a contrast operator can maximize the power contrast between a target and its surrounding. A difference operator enhances the power delivery to a target while avoiding the background increase. This work opens the door to coherent control of nonlocal effects in wave transport for practical applications.

Moroccan Dialect (MD), or "Darija," is a primary spoken variant of Arabic in Morocco, yet remains underrepresented in Natural Language Processing (NLP) research, particularly in tasks like summarization. Despite a growing volume of MD textual data online, there is a lack of robust resources and NLP models tailored to handle the unique linguistic challenges posed by MD. In response, we introduce ***_v2, an expanded version of the *** dataset, containing over 50k articles with their titles across 11 categories. This dataset provides a more comprehensive resource for developing summarization models. We evaluate the application of large language models (LLMs) for MD summarization, utilizing both fine-tuning and zero-shot prompting with encoder-decoder and causal LLMs, respectively. Our findings demonstrate that an expanded dataset improves summarization performance and highlights the capabilities of recent LLMs in handling MD text. We open-source our dataset, fine-tuned models, and all experimental code, establishing a foundation for future advancements in MD NLP. Windows Registry contains various information about users and can be viewed as a database. While Microsoft gives users customization choices, it also unintentionally turns into a tool that attackers may fully use to carry out fileless assaults, incursion persistence, and other harmful actions. The opening section of this paper introduces the registry's logical structure and internal data structures. The following section examines registry-related threats and how the current Windows 10 operating system responds to them. Finally, it shows how a system based on Windows’ integrated logging system, ETW, has been implemented. The monitoring application records and filters registry write operation data, and the filtered data is then examined and sent to VirusTotal to ascertain if the written data was malicious. This study implements an ETW-based registry attack detection system that is effective and dependable. By integrating with VirusTotal, we can more quickly and correctly identify and stop registry assaults or misuse, protecting the security of user PCs. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Autonomous Underwater Gliders (AUGs) are extensively developed vehicles capable of prolonged exploration and observation in complex marine environments. Control of the AUG is challenging due to its slow response system and its constraints. In this research, a linear model representation of AutoRegressive eXogenous input (ARX) will be constructed using input and output data from the AUG system, built Model Predictive Control (MPC), analyzed the performance, comparing with traditional Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID). The objective is to enhance setpoint tracking accuracy and minimize energy to extend exploration time while faced with constraints. Simulation results reveal MPC exhibits potential setpoint tracking, low overshoot as low as 0.6% up to 0.3m/s maximum depth rate, has relatively low input changes indicating good efficiency compared to PID. MPC approach effectively addresses slow response systems, managing momentum, and handling actuator constraints commonly encountered in AUG. © 2023 IEEE.
