Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

Knowledge Distillation via Hierarchical Matching for Small Object Detection

Knowledge distillation is often used for model compression and has achieved a great breakthrough in image classification,but there still remains scope for improvement in object detection,especially for knowledge extraction of small *** main problem is the features of small objects are often polluted by background noise and not prominent due to down-sampling of convolutional neural network(CNN),resulting in the insufficient refinement of small object features during *** this paper,we propose Hierarchical Matching Knowledge Distillation Network(HMKD)that operates on the pyramid level P2 to pyramid level P4 of the feature pyramid network(FPN),aiming to intervene on small object features before *** employ an encoder-decoder network to encapsulate low-resolution,highly semantic information,akin to eliciting insights from profound strata within a teacher network,and then match the encapsulated information with high-resolution feature values of small objects from shallow layers as the *** this period,we use an attention mechanism to measure the relevance of the inquiry to the feature *** in the process of decoding,knowledge is distilled to the *** addition,we introduce a supplementary distillation module to mitigate the effects of background *** show that our method achieves excellent improvements for both one-stage and twostage object ***,applying the proposed method on Faster R-CNN achieves 41.7%mAP on COCO2017(ResNet50 as the backbone),which is 3.8%higher than that of the baseline.

Batch process is an indispensable part of modern industrial production. Because of its flexibility and high efficiency,it is widely used in biopharmaceutical,wastewater treatment,fine chemical and other fields. Due to the improvement of modern equipment and the expansion of the scale of the factory,the chance of accidents and failures also showed an exponential increase trend. Therefore,fault diagnosis is very important to ensure the stability and safety of chemical processes. In order to improve the safety and reliability of batch process,an improved Genetic Algorithm is proposed to optimize the parameters of Separable Convolution Network and Temporal Convolutional Network(SeparableConv1D-TCN) for fault diagnosis of batch process. Firstly,the SeparableConv1D-TCN network is constructed to extract features from the original intermittent data and perform fault diagnosis by standardizing the intermittent data. In order to find the network parameters with high diagnostic accuracy,the genetic algorithm with good point set method and optimal domain search is used to optimize. The effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation experiments and comparative experiments with penicillin experimental data.

A survey on cross-user federated recommendation

Recommender systems are effective in mitigating information overload, yet the centralized storage of user data raises significant privacy concerns. Cross-user federated recommendation(CUFR) provides a promising distributed paradigm to address these concerns by enabling privacy-preserving recommendations directly on user devices. In this survey, we review and categorize current progress in CUFR, focusing on four key aspects: privacy, security, accuracy, and efficiency. Firstly,we conduct an in-depth privacy analysis, discuss various cases of privacy leakage, and then review recent methods for privacy protection. Secondly, we analyze security concerns and review recent methods for untargeted and targeted *** untargeted attack methods, we categorize them into data poisoning attack methods and parameter poisoning attack methods. For targeted attack methods, we categorize them into user-based methods and item-based methods. Thirdly,we provide an overview of the federated variants of some representative methods, and then review the recent methods for improving accuracy from two categories: data heterogeneity and high-order information. Fourthly, we review recent methods for improving training efficiency from two categories: client sampling and model compression. Finally, we conclude this survey and explore some potential future research topics in CUFR.

Formal Verification of data Modifications in Cloud Block Storage Based on Separation Logic

Cloud storage is now widely used, but its reliability has always been a major concern. Cloud block storage(CBS) is a famous type of cloud storage. It has the closest architecture to the underlying storage and can provide interfaces for other types. data modifications in CBS have potential risks such as null reference or data *** verification of these operations can improve the reliability of CBS to some extent. Although separation logic is a mainstream approach to verifying program correctness, the complex architecture of CBS creates some challenges for verifications. This paper develops a proof system based on separation logic for verifying the CBS data modifications. The proof system can represent the CBS architecture, describe the properties of the CBS system state, and specify the behavior of CBS data modifications. Using the interactive verification approach from Coq, the proof system is implemented as a verification tool. With this tool, the paper builds machine-checked proofs for the functional correctness of CBS data modifications. This work can thus analyze the reliability of cloud storage from a formal perspective.

Joint Sample Position Based Noise Filtering and Mean Shift Clustering for Imbalanced Classification Learning

The problem of imbalanced data classification learning has received much *** classification algorithms are susceptible to data skew to favor majority samples and ignore minority *** weighted minority oversampling technique(MWMOTE)is an effective approach to solve this problem,however,it may suffer from the shortcomings of inadequate noise filtering and synthesizing the same samples as the original minority *** this end,we propose an improved MWMOTE method named joint sample position based noise filtering and mean shift clustering(SPMSC)to solve these ***,in order to effectively eliminate the effect of noisy samples,SPMsC uses a new noise filtering mechanism to determine whether a minority sample is noisy or not based on its position and distribution relative to the majority *** that MWMOTE may generate duplicate samples,we then employ the mean shift algorithm to cluster minority samples to reduce synthetic replicate ***,data cleaning is performed on the processed data to further eliminate class *** on extensive benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of SPMsC compared with other sampling methods.

Spatio-Temporal Location Recommendation for Urban Facility Placement via Graph Convolutional and Recurrent Networks

The ability to recommend candidate locations for service facility placement is crucial for the success of urban planning. Whether a location is suitable for establishing new facilities is largely determined by its potential popularity. However, it is a non-trivial task to predict popularity of candidate locations due to three significant challenges: 1) the spatio-temporal behavior correlations of urban dwellers, 2) the spatial correlations between candidate locations and existing facilities, and 3) the temporal auto-correlations of locations themselves. To this end, we propose a novel semi-supervised learning model, Spatio-Temporal Graph Convolutional and Recurrent Networks (STGCRN), aiming for popularity prediction and location recommendation. Specifically, we first partition the urban space into spatial neighborhood regions centered by locations, extract the corresponding features, and develop the location correlation graph. Next, a contextual graph convolution module based on the attention mechanism is introduced to incorporate local and global spatial correlations among locations. A recurrent neural network is proposed to capture temporal dependencies between locations. Furthermore, we adopt a location popularity approximation block to estimate the missing popularity from both the spatial and temporal domains. Finally, the overall implicit characteristics are concatenated and then fed into the recurrent neural network to obtain the ultimate popularity. The extensive experiments on two real-world datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed model compared with state-of-the-art baselines.

Graph Augmentation Empowered Contrastive Learning for Recommendation

The application of contrastive learning (CL) to collaborative filtering (CF) in recommender systems has achieved remarkable success. CL-based recommendation models mainly focus on creating multiple augmented views by employing different graph augmentation methods and utilizing these views for self-supervised learning. However, current CL methods for recommender systems usually struggle to fully address the problem of noisy data. To address this problem, we propose the Graph Augmentation Empowered Contrastive Learning (GAECL) for recommendation framework, which uses graph augmentation based on topological and semantic dual adaptation and global co-modeling via structural optimization to co-create contrasting views for better augmentation of the CF paradigm. Specifically, we strictly filter out unimportant topologies by reconstructing the adjacency matrix and mask unimportant attributes in nodes according to the PageRank centrality principle to generate an augmented view that filters out noisy data. Additionally, GAECL achieves global collaborative modeling through structural optimization and generates another augmented view based on the PageRank centrality principle. This helps to filter the noisy data while preserving the original semantics of the data for more effective data augmentation. Extensive experiments are conducted on five datasets to demonstrate the superior performance of our model over various recommendation models. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Task offloading delay minimization in vehicular edge computing based on vehicle trajectory prediction

In task offloading,the movement of vehicles causes the switching of connected RSUs and servers,which may lead to task offloading failure or high service *** this paper,we analyze the impact of vehicle movements on task offloading and reveal that data preparation time for task execution can be minimized via forward-looking ***,a Bi-LSTM-based model is proposed to predict the trajectories of *** service area is divided into several equal-sized *** the actual position of the vehicle and the predicted position by the model belong to the same grid,the prediction is considered correct,thereby reducing the difficulty of vehicle trajectory ***,we propose a scheduling strategy for delay optimization based on the vehicle trajectory *** the inevitable prediction error,we take some edge servers around the predicted area as candidate execution servers and the data required for task execution are backed up to these candidate servers,thereby reducing the impact of prediction deviations on task offloading and converting the modest increase of resource overheads into delay reduction in task *** results show that,compared with other classical schemes,the proposed strategy has lower average task offloading delays.

TSCL-FHFN: two-stage contrastive learning and feature hierarchical fusion network for multimodal sentiment analysis

Multimodal sentiment analysis faces two challenges: modality representation and modality fusion. Most of the existing models rely only on the feature extraction network to learn modality representation, and the fusion mechanism adopted by some models does not perform well. These factors are not conducive to the model learning rich emotional information and further affect the model’s predictive ability. To solve these problems, we propose a multimodal sentiment analysis model based on two-stage contrastive learning and feature hierarchical fusion network (TSCL-FHFN). First, we apply the idea of contrastive learning to unimodal feature representation and multimodal fusion feature representation respectively. By designing a two-stage contrastive learning task, TSCL-FHFN learns similar features for data with the same emotion category and learns distinguishable features for data with different emotion categories. This enables the model to better learn the features of emotional differences. Second, in order to further explore the deep semantic association of multimodal data, we propose a multimodal feature hierarchical fusion network (FHFN). The core idea is to design an attention-based directional cross-modal transformer so that one modality can receive information from the other modality, thereby obtaining complementary information between two modalities. Then, FHFN uses the low-rank tensor fusion method to further learn interactive information between multiple modalities. Finally, we conduct a series of comparative experiments on CMU-MOSI and CMU-MOSEI datasets. Compared with the current representative models, the TSCL-FHFN model achieves better experimental results.
