Motivated by the complex dynamics of cooperative and competitive interactions within networked agent systems, multi-cluster games provide a framework for modeling the interconnected goals of self-interested clusters of agents. For this setup, the existing literature does not provide comprehensive gradient-based solutions that simultaneously address constraint sets and directed communication networks-both of which are essential for many practical applications-due to the complexities posed by the projection and the imbalanced mixing matrix. To address this gap, this paper proposes a distributed Nash equilibrium seeking algorithm that integrates consensus-based methods and gradient-tracking techniques, utilizing row-stochastic weight matrices for inter-cluster communication and column-stochastic weight matrices for intracluster communication. To handle constraints, we introduce an averaging procedure to control errors introduced by projection methods within the gradient-tracking procedure. We establish the linear convergence of the proposed algorithm, focusing on the contraction property of the optimality gap. The efficacy of the algorithm is demonstrated through its application to microgrid energy management. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, wide bandgap semiconductor devices such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) have been increasingly applied in electric drive systems, effectively enhancing system power density. However, the high-frequency and high-speed characteristics of SiC devices exacerbate electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues within the system. Additionally, the cables in electric drive systems exhibit significant antenna effects, radiating conducted EMI into the surrounding space, thereby affecting the normal operation of other sensitive equipment. Therefore, it is essential to research motor drive system topologies that can actively suppress EMI and predict radiated interference in motor drive systems. The topology of a four-module motor paired with parallel inverters can achieve active suppression of EMI at the source. This paper conducts a simulation-based prediction of radiated interference for a parallel inverter-driven four-module motor system. It analyzes the coupling mechanisms of common mode and differential mode radiated interference and validates the radiated interference from both DC and AC cables through simulations, predicting the impact on surrounding sensitive equipment in practical systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Power electronic switching devices and pulse width modulation (PWM) not only improves the performance of motor drive systems, but also brings about common-mode voltage (CMV) issues, that challenging the normal operation of the system. This article proposes a zero common-mode voltage modulation strategy based on unified voltage modulation for a 60° Y-connected six-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor system driven by a dual three-phase inverter. The theoretical basis and zero common-mode implementation scheme of unified modulation are analyzed, and the effectiveness of the proposed zero common-mode voltage modulation strategy is finally verified through simulation. © 2024 IEEE.

The electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem caused by power electronic switching devices and pulse width modulation (PWM) affects the normal operation of the motor drive system. In this paper, a random PWM based on unified modulation is proposed for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system. The theoretical basis of unified modulation and the implementation scheme of random modulation are analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed random PWM is verified by simulation. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the problems of insufficient feature extraction and inaccurate prediction in existing aircraft engines remaining useful life prediction algorithms, a fusion model based on feature attention mechanism, stacked noise reduction autoencoder and bidirectional gated cycle units (BiGRU) was proposed. Firstly, weight is assigned to each sensor data of aircraft engine by the feature attention mechanism, and new weight data is obtained. Next, the stack noise reduction autoencoder is used to extract the weighted data. Then, bidirectional gated recurrent units are employed to predict the time series data and obtain the remaining useful life of the aircraft engine. To accurately select the hyperparameters of BiGRU, the Bayesian optimization algorithm is utilized for hyperparameter optimization. Finally, ablation experiments were conducted on the CMPASS dataset to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, resulting in a root mean square error and score of 13.51 and 252.61, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

In the shallow sea environment, array of small array elements may not be able to accurately locate targets due to undersampling. To address this issue, the paper proposed a method called sound field extension based on the reception of array of small array elements, which generates a virtual measurement field of a vertical array with lager number. The method utilizes the extended acoustic field for VTRM. This approach significantly improves the focusing and positioning performance of the TRM. The key implementation lies in estimating the normal wave mode coefficients from the acoustic field acquired by the short vertical line array. The paper uses the least squares method to estimate the mode coefficients. Experimental results demonstrate that compared to conventional time processing methods for an array of small array elements, the VTRM method using the a vertical array with a large number of elements can effectively enhance targeting and focusing performance of the short array. For array of small array elements with 21 elements, the SNR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) effectively improves by 4.32 dB. © 2023 IEEE.

Reliability prediction can provide basis for the identification of potential improvement area, cost control, and mission reliability assessment, etc. However, for complex equipment, there are many reliability influencing factors and incomplete knowledge of failure causes, which lead to a significant disparity between the predicted outcomes and the real values for traditional reliability prediction methods. To address the above issues, this research paper introduces an approach that utilizes the Support Vector Regression (SVR) model and Sand Cat Swarm Optimization (SCSO). To begin with, the sliding window technique is employed on the historical reliability data to generate time series samples, with the 5 adjacent data as sample data, and the sixth as label of the sample, and train SVR model on these samples;Second, the SVR model parameters are optimized using the ISCSO algorithm to obtain the optimal combination of parameters. In the testing stage, firstly, historical reliability data was used to predicted future data by the model, and the predicted data are then added to the sequence to form new samples, thus old data are discarded and new data are predicted continuously to realize continuous reliability prediction. Finally, the algorithm proposed in this paper is validated on a diesel engine reliability dataset. The algorithm proposed in this paper demonstrates its superiority through the Normalized Root Mean Squared Error (NRMSE) evaluation. The NRMSE of SVR-ISCSO is 8.86E-05, showcasing a remarkable 99.24% year-on-year decrease compared to the standard SVR. Additionally, it exhibits a 5.86% year-on-year decrease compared to SVR-SCSO, further validating the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is critical in evolving 5G and developing 6G networks, running on edge devices, and solving resource management challenges. The burgeoning number of edge devices draws attention to the potential of low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks with their onboard computing capabilities for edge inference. This paper explores LEO scenarios where multiple remote sensing edge AI inference tasks concurrently process data from a single source. However, due to there being parts with the same functions between different AI applications, traditional monolithic edge AI architecture must be deployed repeatedly and falls short in efficiently harnessing the heterogeneous resources of LEO satellite networks. To solve this problem, we utilize the microservice architecture to decouple a single AI application into several independent microservices to reuse these same functions. However, due to the high latency caused by multiple microservices' communication, we need to design a deployment strategy to fully utilize resources to reduce the service latency. We present a microservice deployment model to minimize the total service latency across all AI applications and meet resource constraints with the constraints of hardware, energy, and memory limitations. This latency optimization problem is rewritten as a Markov decision process (MDP) to effectively deal with the challenge posed by the time-varying transmission rate caused by satellite mobility. To increase the training data utilization, we employ a Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) based reinforcement learning algorithm to meet the dynamic environment challenge. Finally, we obtain a sub-optimal solution with minimal accuracy loss and an acceptable solution time. © 2024 IEEE.

Fault diagnosis of rotating machinery driven by induction motors has received increasing attention. Current diagnostic methods, which can be performed on existing inverters or current transformers of three-phase induction machines, have become a more economical and reliable alternative to vibration diagnostic methods. Existing references mainly focus on the stator current analysis of single-phase, but most single-phase current analysis methods utilize only a fraction of the total information accessible in the three-phase system. Field experience shows that zero-sequence current (ZSC) has more distinctive fault characteristics compared to single-phase current, and therefore it is better to use in mechanical fault detection and diagnostic tasks. This article proposes a novel sparse learning-based method for ZSC analysis for induction rotating motor drive fault diagnosis. First, it elaborates and compares the effectiveness of ZSC in revealing fault characteristics compared with single-phase current by analyzing the fault diagnosis mechanism of ZSC. In addition, the method proposes a correlation entropy-enhanced sparse learning method for the problem of high-frequency noise and interference in the ZSC signals, so as to enhance the learning of the features of the noise-containing signals. The diagnostic efficacy of the proposed method has been verified through experiments on two real datasets. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) operate in complex and harshenvironments;thus, node faults are inevitable. Therefore, fault diagnosis ofthe WSNs node is essential. Affected by the harsh working environment ofWSNs and wireless data transmission, the data collected by WSNs containnoisy data, leading to unreliable data among the data features extracted duringfault diagnosis. To reduce the influence of unreliable data features on faultdiagnosis accuracy, this paper proposes a belief rule base (BRB) with a selfadaptivequality factor (BRB-SAQF) fault diagnosis model. First, the datafeatures required for WSN node fault diagnosis are extracted. Second, thequality factors of input attributes are introduced and calculated. Third, themodel inference process with an attribute quality factor is designed. Fourth,the projection covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (P-CMA-ES)algorithm is used to optimize the model’s initial parameters. Finally, the effectivenessof the proposed model is verified by comparing the commonly usedfault diagnosis methods for WSN nodes with the BRB method consideringstatic attribute reliability (BRB-Sr). The experimental results show that BRBSAQFcan reduce the influence of unreliable data features. The self-adaptivequality factor calculation method is more reasonable and accurate than thestatic attribute reliability method.
