Repetitive processes are a distinct class of two-dimensional (2D) systems (i.e. information propagation in two independent directions occurs) of both systems theoretic and applications interest. This paper is concerned with the parameter estimation of a relatively general class of nonlinear dynamic systems. A Maximum Likelihood (ML) framework is employed in the interests of statistical efficiency, and it is illustrated how an Expectation Maximisation (EM) algorithm may be used to compute these ML estimates. An essential ingredient is the employment of so-called “particle smoothing„ methods to compute required conditional expectations via a Monte Carlo approach. A simulation example demonstrates the efficacy of these techniques.

The pressure of gas-collecting pipe is the main technology parameter in the production of coke oven. At present, people have adopted the advanced strategy that combined fuzzy control and expert controlling together in lots of factories. Fuzzy rules are generally created based on experience conclusions. It is in the basic of experience. This paper applies data mining to intelligent control, and it gives a new approach for obtaining fuzzy rules to mine history data. The method based on data has functions as acquiring automatically fuzzy rules, creating and perfecting automatically knowledge base. Simultaneously it doesn't depend on seriously transcendent knowledge of material object in the period of system design, and it has independence of algorithm when running, and so on.
