Network monitoring and measurement is an important part of realizing the network digital twin. However, it introduces the problem of high cost when obtaining the status data of physical networks. Therefore, to efficiently achieve network observability, we first introduce potential techniques and network scenarios for implementing network measurements. Then, a High-Yield Segment Routing over IPv6 based In-band Network Telemetry (HY-SRv6-INT) system is proposed in this paper. In particular, we design the HY-SRv6-INT system architecture. It consists of IPv6 switches implemented by the P4 language and a Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller containing the HY-SRv6-INT application. Next, we experimentally demonstrate a packet-level path-associated network measurement process. In addition, the performance of the HY-SRv6-INT system is also quantitatively evaluated to verify its advantages. Hair editing is a critical image synthesis task that aims to edit hair color and hairstyle using text descriptions or reference images, while preserving irrelevant attributes (e.g., identity, background, cloth). Many existing methods are based on StyleGAN to address this task. However, due to the limited spatial distribution of StyleGAN, it struggles with multiple hair color editing and facial preservation. Considering the advancements in diffusion models, we utilize Latent Diffusion Models (LDMs) for hairstyle editing. Our approach introduces Multi-stage Hairstyle Blend (MHB), effectively separating control of hair color and hairstyle in diffusion latent space. Additionally, we train a warping module to align the hair color with the target region. To further enhance multi-color hairstyle editing, we fine-tuned a CLIP model using a multi-color hairstyle dataset. Our method not only tackles the complexity of multi-color hairstyles but also addresses the challenge of preserving original colors during diffusion editing. Extensive experiments showcase the superiority of our method in editing multi-color hairstyles while preserving facial attributes given textual descriptions and reference images. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. Cloud workloads prediction plays a crucial role in the various tasks of cloud computing, such as resource scheduling, performance optimization, cost management, etc. However, current time series prediction methods suffer instability and inefficiency issues when addressing cloud workloads, due to the high variability of workload patterns and the high fluctuation within a workload. To address these issues, we propose DeIP4CW, a Self-Decoupled Interpretable Prediction framework for highly-variable Cloud Workloads. It can accurately forecast future job arrival rates in a cloud environment. The core idea of DeIP4CW is to first introduce the periodic and residual states as hidden variables to decouple complicated dependencies in cloud workload signals. Then it adopts a deep expansion learning framework with the block structure to perform workload prediction layer by layer. Each block consists of some periodic modules and some compensation modules. The periodic module with a self-attention mechanism can effectively capture the global trend of cloud workload, while the compensation module is employed to compensate for the local volatility information. Moreover, our two customized modules also have interpretable abilities, such as attributing the predictions to either global trends or local compensation. We conduct extensive experiments on the real-world cloud workload traces to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed DeIP4CW. The experimental results demonstrate the DeIP4CW achieves significant improvements over the best baseline in most cases, and the error reduction can even reach up to 20.66%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In the Mobile Edge computing (MEC) environment, the prediction efficiency is low when user recommendation is based on Quality of Service (QoS) data due to network environment and other factors. Traditional methods use Collaborative Filtering (CF) or tensor decomposition methods to mine the relationship between historical QoS data for prediction, but there are problems with prediction accuracy and efficiency. Given this, this paper proposes an efficient QoS data prediction method (CTT) combining tensor kernel paradigm-tensor decomposition. The method first introduces the tensor kernel norm to approximate the tensor rank function to better capture the spatio-temporal correlation of real QoS data; Second, tensor decomposition is combined to address inefficiencies. Experimental results on the public QoS dataset WS-Dream show that the method significantly improves the runtime while guaranteeing prediction accuracy and applies to scenarios with different data missing densities.

GLSNet: A Global Guided Local Feature Stepwise Aggregation Network for polyp segmentation

Accurate polyp segmentation is of great significance for the prevention and diagnosis of early colon cancer. Transformer-based image segmentation models have been proposed for polyp segmentation with good results, however, these methods do not sufficiently consider the negative impact of background noise in different levels of features, resulting in the loss of local details. To alleviate this problem, we propose a GLSNet (A Global Guided Local Feature Stepwise Aggregation Network for polyp segmentation) network, including a spatial feature enhancement (SFE) module, a globally guided local feature enhancement (GLFE) module, and a feature stepwise aggregation (FSA) module. SFE can enhance the spatial feature representation of polyps to better capture the polyp information in the features. GLFE uses high-level features to filter noise in low-level features to capture polyp information hidden in shallow features;FSA fuses the semantic and positional information of polyps across scales to obtain the final segmentation results. Qualitative and quantitative experiments were conducted on 7 benchmark datasets, and the experimental results demonstrated that GLSNet outperforms other existing methods and has stronger generalization performance. In particular, we achieved a mean Dice of 92.9% on the large-scale Kvasir dataset, and mean Dice of 81.3% and 81.6% on CVC-ColonDB and ETIS, respectively, which are significantly higher than those of the competing methods. © 2023

Active disturbance-rejection methods are effective in estimating and rejecting disturbances in both transient and steady-state *** paper presents a deep observation on and a comparison between two of those methods:the generalized extended-state observer(GESO)and the equivalent input disturbance(EID)from assumptions,system configurations,stability conditions,system design,disturbance-rejection performance,and extensibility.A time-domain index is introduced to assess the disturbance-rejection performance.A detailed observation of disturbance-suppression mechanisms reveals the superiority of the EID approach over the GESO method.A comparison between these two methods shows that assumptions on disturbances are more practical and the adjustment of disturbance-rejection performance is easier for the EID approach than for the GESO method.

A new talent training mode of collaboration between industry and education was proposed, which aims to reduce the gaps of talent definition between enterprise demand and college education. We formulates scenario as a text matching task of similarity between courses details and job position information, developed a ERNIE+DPCNN based model for the task. The model has been benchmarked on LCQMC dataset, the results show that it achieves the art-of state performance of Acc 0.8809, Recall 0.8745, and FX score 0.8739, We conducted many experiments about the text similarity calculation between domains of industry and educations. The experiment results show our approach has much potential to optimize the curriculum system while applying in this field. © 2022 IEEE

Social media is the platform for most people to share their opinions, emojis are also widely used to express moods, emotions, and feelings on social media. There have been many researched on emojis and sentiment analysis. However, existing methods mainly face two limitations. First, since deep learning relies on large amounts of labeled data, the training samples of emoji are not enough to achieve the training effect. Second, they consider the sentiment of emojis and texts separately, not fully exploring the impact of emojis on the sentiment polarity of texts. In this paper, we propose a joint learning sentiment analysis method incorporating emoji-augmentation, and the method has two advantages compared with the existing work. First, We optimize the easy data augmentation method so that the newly generated sentences can also preserve the semantic information of emojis, which relieves the problem of insufficient training data with emojis. Second, it fuses emojis and text features to allow the model to better learn the mutual emotional semantics between text and emojis, jointly training emojis and words to obtain the sentence representations containing more semantic information of both emojis and text. Our experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance compared with several baselines on two datasets. © 2022 IEEE.

Contrastive Learning for Robust Android Malware Familial Classification

Due to its open-source nature, Android operating system has been the main target of attackers to exploit. Malware creators always perform different code obfuscations on their apps to hide malicious activities. Features extracted from these obfuscated samples through program analysis contain many useless and disguised features, which leads to many false negatives. To address the issue, in this paper, we demonstrate that obfuscation-resilient malware family analysis can be achieved through contrastive learning. The key insight behind our analysis is that contrastive learning can be used to reduce the difference introduced by obfuscation while amplifying the difference between malware and other types of malware. Based on the proposed analysis, we design a system that can achieve robust and interpretable classification of Android malware. To achieve robust classification, we perform contrastive learning on malware samples to learn an encoder that can automatically extract robust features from malware samples. To achieve interpretable classification, we transform the function call graph of a sample into an image by centrality analysis. Then the corresponding heatmaps can be obtained by visualization techniques. These heatmaps can help users understand why the malware is classified as this family. We implement IFDroid and perform extensive evaluations on two datasets. Experimental results show that IFDroid is superior to state-of-the-art Android malware familial classification systems. Moreover, IFDroid is capable of maintaining a 98.4% F1 on classifying 69,421 obfuscated malware samples. IEEE
