This paper proposes a wideband cavity-backed slotted patch antenna, loaded with a magneto-electric(ME)-dipole and fed by a microstrip line, for millimeter wave(mm-Wave) applications. The coupled-feed cavitybacked slotted patch antenna is loaded with the ME-dipole. The slotted patch antenna serves as both a radiator and a ground for the ME-dipole. The combination of the ME-dipole antenna and the slotted patch antenna realizes a –10 dB impedance bandwidth covering over 22.86–44.35 GHz(63.9%). The pattern of the antenna element remains stable throughout this bandwidth. The proposed broadband antenna unit not only realizes single linearly polarized(LP)radiation but also can be designed for dual-LP radiation. The dual-polarized radiation can be achieved by changing the slot of the patch antenna to a crossed slot and altering the ME-dipole antenna to a dual-polarization form. A 2 × 2 dual-polarized array has been designed, fabricated, and tested. A novel dual-polarized feeding network is *** achieve higher isolation, broadband in-phase feed and differential feed are adopted, respectively. A low-loss single to the differential structure is proposed for differential feeding. The simulated isolation of the array is higher than 40 d *** results show that the dual-polarized 2 × 2 array has an overlapping bandwidth of 52.3%(|S11| < –10 dB and |S21| < –30 dB) with a peak gain of 14 dBi. The proposed antenna, featuring a wide overall bandwidth, low cost,and good radiation performance, is well suited for mm-Wave applications.

In this paper, the cooperative output regulation(COR) problem of a class of unknown heterogeneous multi-agent systems(MASs) with directed graphs is studied via a model-free reinforcement learning(RL) based fully distributed eventtriggered control(ETC) strategy. First, we consider the scenario that the exosystem is accessible globally to all agents, an internal model-based augmented algebraic Riccati equation(AARE) is constructed, and its solution is learned by the proposed model-free RL algorithm via online input-output data. Further, for the scenario that the exosystem is accessible only to its adjacent followers, the distributed observers are designed for each agent to get the state of the exosystem, and an internal modelbased fully distributed adaptive ETC protocol is then synthesized to construct the corresponding AARE, and the feedback gain matrix is learned in a model-free fashion. The model-free RL-based control protocol proposed in this paper can not only remove the prior knowledge of agents' dynamics, but also release the dependence on global information by the adaptive event-triggered mechanism(ETM) and the new graph-based Lyapunov function. Finally, simulation results are illustrated to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

This paper presents a comprehensive framework for analyzing phase transitions in collective models such as theVicsek model under various noise types. The Vicsek model, focusing on understanding the collective behaviors of socialanimals, is known due to its discontinuous phase transitions under vector noise. However, its behavior under scalar noiseremains less conclusive. Renowned for its efficacy in the analysis of complex systems under both equilibrium and nonequilibriumstates, the eigen microstate method is employed here for a quantitative examination of the phase transitions inthe Vicsek model under both vector and scalar noises. The study finds that the Vicsek model exhibits discontinuous phasetransitions regardless of noise type. Furthermore, the dichotomy method is utilized to identify the critical points for thesephase transitions. A significant finding is the observed increase in the critical point for discontinuous phase transitions withescalation of population density.

In this paper, the problem of pre-specified performance fault-tolerant cluster consensus control and fault direction identification is solved for the human-in-the-loop(HIL) swarm unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) in the presence of possible nonidentical and unknown direction faults(NUDFs) in the yaw *** control strategy begins with the design of a pre-specified performance event-triggered observer for each individual *** observers estimate the outputs of the human controlled UAVs, and simultaneously achieve the distributed design of actual control signals as well as cluster consensus of the observer *** is worth mentioning that these observers require neither the high-order derivatives of the human controlled UAVs' output nor a priori knowledge of the initial conditions. The fault-tolerant controller realizes the pre-specified performance output regulation through error transformation and the Nussbaum function. It should be pointed out that there are no chattering caused by the jump of the Nussbaum function when a reverse fault occurs. In addition, to provide a basis for further solving the problem of physical malfunctions, a fault direction identification algorithm is proposed to accurately identify whether a reverse fault has occurred. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control and fault direction identification strategies when the reverse faults occur.

An adaptive control approach is presented in this paper for tracking desired trajectories in interactive manipulators. The controller design incorporates prescribed performance functions (PPFs) to improve dynamic performance. Notably, the performance of the output error is confined in an envelope characterized by exponential convergence, leading to convergence to zero. This feature ensures a prompt response from admittance control and establishes a reliable safety framework for interactions. Simulation results provide practical insights,demonstrating the viability of the control scheme proposed in this paper.
