In this paper, by using the output regulation theory, we research the output voltage practical tracking problem for un-interruptible power supply systems under event-triggered control technique. By configuring the desired poles for a controllable pair and solving the regulator equations, a state feedback gain and a feedforward gain can be obtained for designing the control law. Further, under event-triggered mechanism, a control law that can be applied to a digital platform directly is designed to solve our problem. Moreover, it can be verified that the voltage tracking error can converge to a pre-specified neighborhood of the origin.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau contains the most abundant clean energy such as hydropower, wind and solar in the world. However, it is very difficult to add overhead transmission lines on the ground due to the complex geographical environment. The large-capacity tunnel cables which is less affected by the earth surface environment, may play an important role on the energy transmission in such area. Based on the cable thermal circuit model, the electrical-magnetic-thermal multiphysics coupling of the cable is modeled in COMSOL Multiphysics. The parameter changes of the material during the temperature rising process, the influence of different ventilation conditions and different current-carrying capacities on the changes of the cable temperature field are quantitatively analyzed. The results show that the proposed model is valid in certain conditions. The research on the current carrying capacity and thermal effect of tunnel cables is of great significance for the transportation and consumption of large-scale clean energy resources. © 2022 IEEE.

An improved YOLOv7 for the state identification of sliding chairs in railway turnout

The sliding chairs are important components that support the switch rail conversion in the railway *** to the harsh environmental erosion and the attack from the wheel vibration,the failure rate of the sliding chairs accounts for up to 10%of the total failure number in ***,there is little research carried out in the existing literature to diagnose the deterioration states of the sliding *** fill out this gap,by utilizing the images containing the sliding chairs,we propose an improved You Only Look Once version 7(YOLOv7)to identify the state of the sliding ***,to meet the challenge brought by the small inter-class differences among the sliding chair states,we first integrate the Convolutional Block Attention Module(CBAM)into the YOLOv7 backbone to screen the information conducive to state ***,an extra detector for a small object is customized into the YOLOv7 network in order to detect the small-scale sliding chairs in ***,we revise the localization loss in the objective function as the Efficient Intersection over Union(EIoU)to optimize the design of the aspect ratio,which helps the localization of the sliding ***,to address the issue caused by the varying scales of the sliding chairs,we employ K-means++to optimize the priori selection of the initial anchor ***,based on the images collected from real-world turnouts,the proposed method is verified and the results show that our method outperforms the basic YOLOv7 in the state identification of the sliding chairs with 4%improvements in terms of both mean Average Precision@0.5(mAP@0.5)and F1-score.

AdvDiffuser: Generating Adversarial Safety-Critical Driving Scenarios via Guided Diffusion

Safety-critical scenarios are infrequent in natural driving environments but hold significant importance for the training and testing of autonomous driving systems. The prevailing approach involves generating safety-critical scenarios automatically in simulation by introducing adversarial adjustments to natural environments. These adjustments are often tailored to specific tested systems, thereby disregarding their transferability across different systems. In this paper, we propose AdvDiffuser, an adversarial framework for generating safety-critical driving scenarios through guided diffusion. By incorporating a diffusion model to capture plausible collective behaviors of background vehicles and a lightweight guide model to effectively handle adversarial scenarios, AdvDiffuser facilitates transferability. Experimental results on the nuScenes dataset demonstrate that AdvDiffuser, trained on offline driving logs, can be applied to various tested systems with minimal warm-up episode data and outperform other existing methods in terms of realism, diversity, and adversarial performance. © 2024, CC BY.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease common in middle-aged and elderly people, and bradykinesia is one of the most obvious symptoms. In this study, A deep learning-based Parkinson's bradykinesia recognition system is designed which has an inertial sensor-based data acquisition system. It can wirelessly collect bradykinesia kinematic information by wearing it on the wrist and ankle of Parkinson's patients. In addition, a method for identifying the symptom of Parkinson's bradykinesia based on Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) Network is proposed, with an accuracy of 98.6%. It provides a feasible method to identify Parkinson bradykinesia to assist the diagnosis and treatment. © 2022 IEEE.

Facial reactions convey crucial emotional information and coordinating interpersonal relationships in human dyadic interactions. While existing Multiple Appropriate Facial Reaction Generation (MAFRG) methods focus on generating multiple reasonable facial reactions, none of these approaches combines 2D and 3D facial behaviour information nor account for the influence of individuals’ facial identities, leading to inconsistencies in the generated facial reactions and limited capability in capturing subtle variations in facial depth and expression dynamics. This paper proposes a novel Hierarchical Multimodal Decoupling-Fusion (HMDF) framework that decouples 3D facial identity from expression behaviors, eliminating identity-based interference in the reaction generation process, which are integrated with audio-visual features through a cross-attention mechanism. Experiments show that our framework achieved the enhanced diversity and synchrony in the generated facial reactions.

When a high proportion of renewable energy is connected to the grid, the net load fluctuation can be suppressed by configuring energy storage. However, the current cost of energy storage is high. This paper proposes a bi-level optimization model that takes into account the dynamic allocation of shared energy storage (SES) capacity in response to electric load demand. The upper-layer objective function adopts EO optimization algorithm, which is to maximize the income of the shared energy storage operator (SESO). The lower-layer multi-objective function is to minimize the sum of the operating cost and the net load mean square error of multiple microgrids, which can be classified as the mixed integer linear programming problem. Then, the solution flow of the algorithm is given. Finally, under the constraints of the hierarchical optimization-based model, solving the problem by the CPLEX solver on the MATLAB platform. The results demonstrate that the proposed method can allocate optimal capacity and reduce operating costs for microgrids. Simultaneously, this method increases the revenue of SESO and promotes the consumption of renewable energy. © 2022 IEEE.

In the field of electric vehicles, the safety of power lithium-ion batteries is a socially important issue, and the study of thermal runaway of lithium batteries is now gradually becoming more in-depth. In this paper, the output parameters are up-dimensioned. Using a global sensitivity analysis method based on the Moms screening method, the influence of 11 parameters such as volume of the cell(vBt), mass of the cell(mBt) and electrolyte concentration $(\mathrm{W}_{\mathrm{e}})$ on the thermal runaway process of Li-ion batteries is analyzed, and the variation of 10 variables such as temperature(T) and carbon dioxide gas (CO 2 ) produced in the thermal runaway side reaction heat generation process and chemical reaction gas generation process over time is investigated under the influence of the parameter factors. In the study, the sensitivity of the parameters over a time interval is investigated in the rising dimension of the time domain. The results show that the overall effect of the parameters on the thermal process; for the output variables of the thermal process, they are mainly affected by the mass of the cell $(\mathrm{m}_{\mathrm{Bt}})$, the thickness of the SEI film $(\mathrm{t}_{\mathrm{sei}})$ and the specific heat capacity of the cell$(\mathrm{Cp}_{\mathrm{Bt}})$, while the chemical process is not significantly affected by the different parameters; among all the parameters, the volume $(\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{Bt}})$ of the cell interacts most strongly with the other parameters for all the output variables. Finally, the results of the sensitivity analysis of the thermal runaway side reactions of the battery will be applied to the subsequent 3D simulation study.

In recent years, industrial robotics has been making breakthroughs. Intelligent assembly robots can not only replace human labor and reduce safety hazards but can also replace some of the mental work of people. In order to improve the robustness of traditional vision robots in assembly application scenarios, this paper improves the YOLOv5 algorithm to achieve vision guidance of different scenarios by adding an attention mechanism. Experimental results show that the method can effectively improve the success rate of object detection. © 2022 IEEE.

The integrated control method, active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) combined with internal model control (IMC), is proposed for non-minimum phase systems. The ADRC combined with IMC is to reduce the influence of zeros on right half plant (RHP), system uncertainty and outer disturbance. An improved IMC is put in the inner loop and ADRC is adopted in the outer loop. In order to enhance the system's stability, an approximate zero phase error model of controlled plant (ZPEM) is used as the internal model in the IMC control loop where the feedback of the inner loop is the dynamic weighted filter sum of the real output and the ZPEM output. The theoretical analysis and simulations verify effectiveness of the proposed method for non-minimum phase systems.
