Time-varying noises are one of the reasons that make it difficult for quantum systems to complete control tasks. How to quantify the influence of time-varying noises on control results and how to design a control law that can resist time-varying noises are two important problems. In this paper, the adversarial learning is introduced into quantum control and the loss function under the worst-case noise is used as a way to quantify the impact of time-varying noises on control performance. We utilize the Gradient Ascent Pulse engineering (GRAPE) technique to search the worst-case noise and meanwhile offer a strategy to improve the robustness of the control law. Simulation experiments on a two-qubit system and a four-qubit system show that the found noises indeed can act as worst-case noises. Furthermore, the optimized control laws demonstrate good robustness to time-varying noises in state preparation tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes a dynamic event-triggered control method for first-order multi-agent systems with input delays and disturbances under switching topologies. The controller design and its properties of dynamic event-triggered fixed-time consensus are presented in detail. Furthermore, agents can achieve consensus in a fixed time for any initial conditions and topologies that comply with the control protocol. Zeno behavior is avoided. Simulation examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and simulate scenarios in which the communication environment deteriorates due to external disturbances affecting the MASs. © 2024 IEEE.

For many real-world scenarios, time series prediction needs to be performed on irregularly sampled data. Neural ordinary differential equations have successfully introduced neural dynamical system (NDS) methods into such tasks. However, these models suffer from a large computational cost, and cannot effectively utilize the temporal information in mini-batches, due to mismatched timestamps of samples. In this work, a unified architecture for NDS is developed, with two novel implementations on discrete input sequences (named TDINDS) and continuous sequences (named TCINDS). The reuse of network modules effectively reduces the scale of parameters and time consumption, while maintaining accuracy. In addition, a tensorized timeline alignment method is proposed, which preserves the temporal information of each training sample via reversible mappings, improving prediction performance and reducing time complexity by at least one order of magnitude. Experiments are conducted on the GoogleStock dataset, where we evaluate model accuracy and computational cost by predicting irregular future sequences. The model robustness is tested using incomplete inputs. The results demonstrate the superior performance of TDINDS and TCINDS, with mean square error reduced by 44% and 50% respectively. Robustness evaluation shows that tensorized timeline alignment is also a key factor to enhance irregular time series prediction ability. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

The reliability of pantograph-catenary system directly affects the operational safety of electric buses, and the catenary geometry parameters (CGP) is an important indicator reflecting the current-receiving quality by the pantograph. Although some methods have been used to detect CGP in practice, in some complex scenarios, such as overlap and overhead crossing, there will be multiple contact wires and messenger wires at the same time, which may lead to missed detection or false positives. Aiming at this situation, this paper presents a real-time detection method of CGP in railway. Based on the principle of laser triangulation, the detection method combines image difference with contact wire detection and tracking to locate the target laser spot. On the basis of three-dimensional reconstruction of linear structured light, spatial coordinate conversion is completed, and then CGP is obtained. Finally, high-precision detection values are obtained by combining with vibration compensation module. Experimental results show that this method can effectively detect CGP in complex scenes in real-time with high accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

The majority of causes that contribute to metro railway traffic accidents can be attributed to human errors. The widespread application of railway perception systems is expected to reduce the occurrence rate of railway traffic accidents. A metro railway perception system is designed to sense the surrounding environment, and it plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of metro railway transportation systems. Based on the actual scenario of Dalian Metro Line 202, a detection method is proposed to complete the task of metro railway traffic detection. The extract ability of the backbone is enhanced by aggregating the hierarchical feature map. By introducing attention module, adopting decoupled detection head and adding extra object detection head, the detection ability of network for objects is promoted and the proposed network achieves satisfactory results in real scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

In spectral scene simulation applications, it is necessary to recognize and detect desert satellite images and satellite images containing water. However, previous network models such as AlexNet, VggNet, and GoogleNet have gradually fallen behind the trend of the times. Compared with the latest network models, they not only have slow training speeds but also do not achieve high accuracy. The three-electrode sliding dielectric barrier discharge(TES-DBD) plasma actuator significantly enhances the ionization rate and momentum exchange between charged particles and neutral particles by incorporating a parallel DC electrode into the standard DBD design. This design improves the body force and induced jet velocity while allowing flexible control of the induced jet angle, overcoming the limitations of discharge extension and uncontrollable direction in traditional DBD plasma actuators. An integrated plasma power supply has been designed specifically for TES-DBD plasma actuators, streamlining the power supply management. The methodology involves designing the circuit topology for the TES-DBD power supply, followed by simulating and validating its operating principles using Multisim software. The operational performance of the power supply is evaluated through a comprehensive analysis of its electrical,thermal, and aerodynamic properties specific to TES-DBD plasma actuation.

Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasma actuators are widely used in active flow control due to their simple design and rapid ***,they need more effectiveness and discharge *** overcome these limitations,a sector-shaped dielectric barrier discharge(SS-DBD)plasma actuator with an adjustable jet angle was developed to enhance flow control *** flow field dynamics induced by the SS-DBD plasma actuator were quantitatively analyzed using particle image velocimetry(PIV).Experimental investigations showed that precise adjustments to the actuation voltage can modulate the maximum velocity of the induced ***,a quasi-linear relationship between the sector-shaped angles of the SS-DBD and the deflected jet angles was established,indicating that changes in the sector-shaped angles directly influence the direction of the deflected *** correlation enables precise control over jet angles,significantly enhancing flow control by adjusting the SS-DBD-PA's sector-shaped angle.

In northern China, the demand for winter heating is substantial, leading to a high proportion of heating loads that reduce the flexibility of the power grid in regulating power generation. The pure condensing unit will enter the normal operation condition of ultra-low load (sometimes even undergoing daily start and stop cycles). The economic consumption method of light, electricity, and heat balance of combined heat and power units is proposed. Based on considering the exergy efficiency, the new energy is transferred to the heat load of the heating network to break the fixed mode of 'fixing electricity by heat, 'reduce the light abandonment rate, and improve the operation economy of the system. It has certain reference significance for promoting the safe and efficient consumption and utilization of local large-scale renewable energy. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel approach to distributed pose estimation in the multi-agent system based on invariant Kalman filter with covariance intersection. Our method models uncertainties using Lie algebra and applies object-level observations within Lie groups, which have practical application value. We integrate covariance intersection to handle correlated estimates and use the invariant Kalman filter to merge independent data sources. This strategy allows us to effectively tackle the complex correlations of cooperative localization among agents, ensuring our estimates are neither too conservative nor overly confident. Additionally, we examine the consistency and stability of our algorithm, providing evidence of its reliability and effectiveness in managing multi-agent systems. © 2024 IEEE.
