In the scenario that multiple missiles intercept one active defense target with multiple defenders. The missiles aim to finish the tasks that intercept the target from different directions to achieve saturation and evade from the defenders at the same time and each defender aim at different missile. Different from the existing results, multiple defenders are concerned in the scenario. Firstly, the guidance problem is separated into two decoupled part which is missiles-target (MT) problem and missile-defender (MD) problem. Secondly, the linearized kinematics of MD and MT model is established. Thirdly, the guidance problem is transformed into a bilateral optimal problem and the guidance laws is obtained by solving the Hamilton function. Finally, numerical simulation is given to verify the correctness of the acquired theories. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper constructed a collaborative combat effectiveness evaluation system with considering the characteristics and limitations of the vehicles. Firstly, multiple hypersonic vehicles formation problem is converted to an optimization problem based on the collaborative combat effectiveness evaluation system. Secondly, the relative distance and angles between vehicle and a certain reference point is selected as the formation parameters, which are chosen as optimization variables in the optimization algorithm. Thirdly, the efficiency function corresponding to each evaluation indicator is given under the constraints of the vehicle and the PSACO (particle swarm ant colony optimization) algorithm is used to solving this optimization problem. In particular, the scenario of detection and the scenario of penetration are designed respectively considering different combat requirements. Finally, it can be verified that multiple hypersonic vehicles can achieve cooperative optimal formation in two combat scenarios through the effectiveness evaluation system and the PSACO algorithm according to simulation examples. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Due to the significant uncertainty and complexity present in the working process of the infrared heating system, as well as the system's strong nonlinear and time-varying characteristics, the traditional temperature control method does not perform well when dealing with such strong nonlinear and time-varying systems. Therefore, the model-free adaptive control algorithm is introduced into the control process of the infrared heating system. This paper first analyzes the heat transfer mechanism of the infrared heating system and establishes a mathematical model for it. Furthermore, to further enhance the control dynamic performance of the infrared heating system, a staged model-free adaptive control method is proposed. Initially, a proportional control term is added to the basic model-free control law, and subsequently, a variable coefficient 'b' is introduced into the original deviation-overcoming term. Finally, simulations are conducted using MATLAB to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method. The simulation results indicate that the s-MFAC method offers better versatility and flexibility than the original MFAC method, significantly improving the system's overshoot and response speed. © 2024 IEEE.

An improved auction algorithm named compensation auction algorithm (CAA) is proposed for the air-to-air confrontation problem in attack scenarios. First, in order to represent the conflict in assignment, a damage benefit function is established according to the guidance rules. Secondly, a multi-constraint dynamic model of multi-weapon attacking multi-target is created. Then, according to the traditional auction algorithm, a compensation mechanism is proposed and a compensation factor is introduced. Under the condition that the constraints are satisfied, the efficiency of algorithm convergence is accelerated. Finally, a simulation is carried out on the established scene by using CAA. The results show that the algorithm has an effective optimization in time consumption compared with the existing intelligent algorithms, which also meets the real-time requirements. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Cooperative guidance of multiple missiles against a non-cooperative target with angle constraint and time constraint is investigated. Firstly, guidance model is constructed from guidance kinematics. Secondly, an exponentially convergent state observer and an extended-state-observer (ESO) are designed respectively to estimate unknown target information. Thirdly, a finite time convergent cooperative guidance law with time constraint is designed in line-of-sight (LOS) direction, and the influence of observation error is considered. Another guidance law with angle constraint is designed in normal LOS direction and the scenario of actuator failure is considered. Finally, the simulation of four missiles cooperatively intercepting a maneuvering target is built to verify the feasibility of the proposed guidance laws. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The main objective of this paper is to develop a distributed sensor fault detection (FD) approach for sensor networks in the presence of noise and transmission time of information exchange. To be specific, the approach optimizes the performance of FD by minimizing the detection uncertainty and the online implementation of the proposed method is in a distributed and recursive manner. Finally, a numerical example is illustrated to show that the distributed approach can successfully and efficiently accomplish the FD task. © 2023 IEEE.

Limited reliability data during the development of cruise ship automation systems often leads to subjective weight allocation. This paper proposes an reliability allocation method based on the Bayesian best-worst method and analytic hierarchy process to address this challenge. By considering the system reliability indices, influencing factors, and units need to be allocated, a hierarchical model is established for reliability allocation based on the analytic hierarchy process. The Bayesian best-worst method compares elements in each layer, generating best and worst matrices based on decision-makers. These matrices determine optimal weights for each layer's elements. The analytic hierarchy process determines relative importance weights among the system reliability index, influencing factors, and units. Consequently, the derived optimal weights are converted into allocation factors, which enable the allocation of reliability for cruise ship automation systems. This fusion-based approach presents a novel and effective method for optimizing reliability allocation during the development stage of complex systems. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm that estimate 3D relative pose transformation based on range measurements between robots and pose estimates produced by VI-SLAM system. Specifically, we prove that 5 range measurements is needed at least to estimate 4 degrees-of-freedom relative pose transformation for nonsingular configurations. Additionally, a more efficient algebraic method is proposed to compute the unique solution which can be used as a good initial estimate for refinement process. Furthermore, we refine the initial estimate through iterative process to improve accuracy in the presence of noise. Finally, we validate the algorithm in simulation. The proposed algorithm based on range measurement is intended for use in collaborative SLAM system where map merging can be performed in more proactive manner, as contrast to the methods based on vision. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The evaluation of regional geological hazard susceptibility is of great significance to the prevention and control of geological hazard. In this paper, the "4-20"Lushan earthquake disaster area as the research area, combined with GIS and characteristics of the research area, through correlation analysis, selected 9 influencing factors as the evaluation factors. The study was conducted using a weighted information volume-logistic regression model (WI-LR). The results were classified into five sensitivity levels: very low, low, medium, high and very high. The results show that the landslide prone areas in Lushan County are concentrated in the area below the middle of the county seat, mostly near rivers, faults and areas with peak acceleration greater than 0.4. Among them, WI-LR model (AUC=0.918) > deterministic factor model (CF =0.908) > weighted information quantity model (WI) (AUC=0.896) > information quantity model I (AUC=0.853) > information quantity logistic regression model I-LR (AUC=0.799). It indicates that WI-LR model has high evaluation accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.
