Aiming at the requirement of the DELTA parallel manipulator for performing grasping operations, a method for obstacle avoidance based on a genetic algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the classical DELTA parallel manipulator is analyzed mathematically, and its model is simplified. Then, the motion space and inverse kinematics solutions of the DELTA parallel manipulator are solved by using the spatial geometry method. Secondly, a cylindrical envelope surface is added to the manipulator's end for distance calculation. This envelope surface ensures that obstacles do not collide with the manipulator during obstacle avoidance. Thirdly, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed for obstacle avoidance. Finally, the simulation results are given to verify the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

Large-scale multiobjective optimization problems (LSMOPs) exist widely in real-world applications. The large number of decision variables in LSMOP leads to a tremendous high-dimensional search space, which is still challenging for existing multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs). The voltage transformer ratio error estimation (TREE) problem is a typical LSMOP in real-world applications. A number of large-scale multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (LSMOEAs) have been adopted for solving the TREE problem, but so far there is still considerable potential for improvement in their results. In this paper, we propose a informed initialization for solving the TREE problem. The physical properties of the TREE problem are used to construct an initial set of solutions with specific characteristics. The proposed initialization method is tested against the default initialization method on five TREE problems by being applied on six state-of-the-art LSMOEAs and a classical MOEA. The experimental results demonstrate that the initialization method has a significant effect on the performance of LSMOEAs in solving the TREE problems. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Network technology has become an inseparable part of daily life, which is easily attacked by some criminals. Therefore, ensuring the security of network becomes an urgent problem. In the past few years, various deep learning techniques have been put forward for identifying network intrusions. However, the majority of these approaches overlook the non-Euclidean nature of relationships within network intrusion data. In this paper, graph neural network (GNN) is used to learn the relationship between data. The sample balancing module is to address the significant disparity between the number of intrusive samples and normal samples. The results obtained from the experiments indicate that the suggested approach can enhance the effectiveness of the intrusion detection system. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates the continuous-time unconstrained optimization via dynamical gradient flow systems. For strongly convex objective functions, a gradient flow with predefined time convergence is proposed, which is suitable for relaxing the objective function to only satisfy the PolyakLojasiewicz (P-L) condition. A predefined-time convergent Newton's flow is designed for the minimization of strictly convex functions. The proposed result is extended for strongly convex objective functions with time-varying parameters. In our schemes, the upper bound of convergence time can be used as a prior choice without involving system initialization and complex parameter calculations. The convergence of algorithms is rigorously proved by using the Lyapunov method. Numerical simulation illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed methods. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a distributed model predictive control of multiple trains, aiming at overcoming coupled constraints and achieving cooperative operation while reducing the computational burden. According to the coupled constraints associated with maintaining safety distance between adjacent trains, trains are divided into sub-systems and distributed optimal control problem is then formulated. To solve the problem, an alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) is employed with a fully distributed scheme, decomposing the original optimal control problem into smaller sub-problems that can be computed in parallel and meet the real-time control requirements. The proposed method effectively guarantees the cooperative operation of trains under local and coupled safety constraints. Numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed train control model and methods. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

In recent years,green concepts have been integrated into the product iterative design in the manufacturing field to address global competition and sustainability ***,previous efforts for green material optimal selection disregarded the interaction and fusion among physical entities,virtual models,and users,resulting in distortions and inaccuracies among user,physical entity,and virtual model such as inconsistency among the expected value,predicted simulation value,and actual performance value of evaluation ***,this study proposes a digital twin-driven green material optimal selection and evolution method for product iterative ***,a novel framework is ***,an analysis is carried out from six perspectives:the digital twin model construction for green material optimal selection,evolution mechanism of the digital twin model,multi-objective prediction and optimization,algorithm design,decision-making,and product function ***,taking the material selection of a shared bicycle frame as an example,the proposed method was verified by the prediction and iterative optimization of the carbon emission index.

This article presents an alternative approach to reduce the switching frequency in switching elements within power electronic converters. The aim is to address the challenges of conventional semiconductor devices in high-frequency switching, such as switch transition times and high-frequency pulse generation. With the proposed configuration, the semiconductor switch components and pulse generator operate at a lower frequency than the output frequency of the converter. Simulations to verify the approach will be conducted using PLECS software. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper studies the problem of simultaneous localization and autonomous mapping of mobile machines, based on multiple sensor fusion SLAM algorithms. This method can solve the problem that the feature information of the collected image is not accurate or lost when a single laser or vision sensor is used in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) research of mobile robots, which leads to localization failure. First, combining LIO-SAM algorithm and LVI-SAM algorithm, the simulation and construction of large scene maze environment are carried out for the mobile robot equipped with Lidar and depth camera. Then through the experimental simulation, the map built by the two algorithms is compared and analyzed. The results show that the map built by LID-SAM algorithm is more accurate in the maze environment with fewer feature points, and the map building effect is obviously better than that of LVI-SAM algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.
