Personalized search and recommendation tasks in a big data environment have attracted wide attention from researchers while also presenting significant *** paper proposed a dual sparse variational autoencoder-driven interactive estimation of distribution algorithm with user generated contents, which considers digging deeper into user generated contents and combining with intelligent evolutionary optimization methods. Firstly, user generated contents in web are extensively collected to build a user interest preference model based on dual sparse variational autoencoders to extract users' preference features. Secondly, the distribution probability is reconstructed according to the neurons of the output layer of the sparse variational autoencoders in the user interest preference model. Combining with Gaussian probability density function, a estimation of distribution sampling probability model based on the user interest preferences is designed in the framework of an interactive estimation of distribution algorithm to generate new individuals with the user preference information. Meanwhile, a user evaluation surrogate model based on the user interest preferences is established by integrating matrix factorizations to participate in a personalized evolutionary search process. Finally, according to new user generated contents and model management mechanisms, the user interest preference model and related models are dynamically updated to guide the interactive personalized evolutionary search for personalized recommendation task. Extensive experiments on various actual public datasets are executed to validate the feasibility, effectiveness and interpretability of the proposed algorithm. It improves the performance of personalized search and recommendation methods.

Increasing the input current is an important way to increase the power density of the motor. However, the increase in current is limited by the heat dissipation capacity of the motor. In this paper, an in-slot direct oil cooling system is proposed, which enhances the heat dissipation capacity of the motor. With direct oil cooling the motor can work stably at high current density. Temperature field analysis of the motor with oil cooling is completed based on CFD. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2024.

This paper proposes a novel multi-DOF spherical actuator based on transverse flux and three-DOF decoupling mechanism. Firstly, the structure and working principle of the new multi-DOF spherical actuator are presented. Then, numerical simulations are performed to analyze its magnetic field and torque, resulting in the basic performance curve of the spherical motor. Finally, The structure of this spherical actuator is optimized by numerical simulation. The optimization results show that the performance of the optimized spherical actuator has been effectively improved in terms of torque ripple, output torque and control precision.

This paper proposes a spoke-type PM machine with quasi-trapezoid magnets and quasi-dovetail iron poles (SPM-QMQI). The SPM-QMQI can offer several merits. First, the employment of quasi-trapezoid magnet and iron pole help to achieve strong flux-focusing effect and high saliency ratio, respectively, which contributes to enhancing torque output of the SPM-QMQI machine. Second, the quasi-dovetail iron can enhance flux-shielding effect and thus the rotor yoke can be replayed with low-density non-ferromagnetic material contributing to reducing rotor mass. Besides, the dovetail-shaped iron pole can protect the rotor magnet against centrifugal force, and thus the conventional rotor sleeve can be removed contributing to a small airgap length. Third, the magnet usage efficiency of electrical machine can be increased greatly, because of the magnet volume reduction and torque improvement. First, the schematic structure and characteristics of proposed QMQI pole pattern are presented. Subsequently, the impact of the key structural parameters and current angle of the QMQI pole pattern on the output characteristics of the electrical machine is investigated. Following that, the electromagnetic characteristics of the proposed QMQI pole design, such as airgap magnetic field, back electromotive force, torque output and ripple, magnet loss, rotor mass and magnet utilization ratio, are compared with with those of the conventional electric machine design to confirm the merits of the proposed SPM-QMQI design. The SPM-QMQI machine have high torque output, low rotor mass and small magnet volume simultaneously, which is desirable for many industrial applications.

This paper focuses on optimal control problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems. In practical applications, computation time is a crucial consideration when solving nonlinear optimal control problems, especially under real-time constraints. While linearization methods are computationally efficient, their inherent low accuracy can compromise control precision and overall performance. To address this challenge, this study proposes a novel approach based on the optimal control method. Firstly, the original optimal control problem is transformed into an equivalent optimization problem, which is resolved using the Pontryagin’s maximum principle, and a superlinear convergence algorithm is presented. Furthermore, to improve computation efficiency, explicit formulas for computing both the gradient and hessian matrix of the cost function are proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is validated through simulations and experiments on a linear quadratic regulator problem and an automatic guided vehicle trajectory tracking problem, demonstrating its ability for real-time online precise control. © 2024, CC BY.

This study addresses linear attacks on remote state estimation within the context of a constrained alarm rate. Smart sensors, which are equipped with local Kalman filters, transmit innovations instead of raw measurements through a wireless communication network. This transmission is vulnerable to malicious data interception and manipulation by attackers. The aim of this research is to identify the optimal attack strategy that degrades the system performance while adhering to stealthiness constraints. A notable innovation of this paper is the direct association of the attack's stealthiness with the alarm rate, diverging from traditional approaches that rely on the covariance of the innovation or the Kullback-Leibler divergence, which are conventional metrics that have been extensively explored in previous studies. Our findings reveal that the optimal attack strategy exhibits some structural characteristics in systems of low dimensions. The performance of the proposed attack strategy is demonstrated through numerical examples. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper considers multiple static target hunting control and path planning using multi-agents. The whole hunting process can be classified into two stages. The first is cruising stage, where the agents move in a certain formation to approach the multiple static targets. Once the agents enter into certain ranges around the targets, the agents will switch into the second stage of hunting. In these two stages, it is required to consider several issues: the agent controlling, path planning, and task allocation. Specifically, the traditional multi-agent controlling algorithm, rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT), and optimal sub-pattern assignment (OSPA) are respectively used in the process. Simulation experiment shows that the path planning and hunting algorithm can efficiently realize the formation movement and multiple static targets hunting.

The problem of high-precision attitude tracking is studied in this paper under model uncertainty and external disturbance risk. First of all, the kinematics and dynamics model of rigid body is derived based on the quaternion theory. Then, a standard logarithmic sliding-mode function is constructed using the attitude quaternion and its derivatives of the rigid spacecraft, and the corresponding logarithmic sliding-mode controller is also derived. Finally, the stability of the controlled closed-loop system is demonstrated. Consistenting with theoretical proof, the numerical simulation results showed that the controlled rigid body can quickly track its desired attitude command, even if there are model uncertainty and external disturbance risks. © 2023 IEEE.

The proportion of photovoltaics(PV) in the grid has increased significantly with the extensive use of renewable ***,natural factors such as weather have a great influence on the output power of *** by the randomness and volatility of PV output power,there are unpredictable power disturbances,which can easily cause a mismatch between PV output and load demand,resulting in bus voltage fluctuations,thereby affecting the safety and stability of the *** PV power prediction models usually directly uses the data characteristics such as horizontal solar radiation flux and temperature in the meteorological forecast,ignoring the effect of solar angle on power *** order to further improve the accuracy of PV power prediction,a prediction method based on the meteorological data driven and mechanism integration is ***,the influence mechanism of solar angle on power prediction is analyzed using the solar radiation bevel conversion principle,and the solar angle solving model is ***,the meteorological forecast data is expanded on the basis of the solar angle mechanism the point forecast and the trend forecast models are established,and the prediction results are fused with the error ***,through the test of different prediction time standards for 1 day,3 days,and 7 days of the data of multiple real light fields,the effectiveness of the method proposed in this article was verified.
