Group Hybrid Coordination control of Multi-Agent Systems With Time-Delays and Additive Noises

A new kind of group coordination control problemgroup hybrid coordination control is investigated in this *** group hybrid coordination control means that in a whole multi-agent system(MAS)that consists of two subgroups with communications between them,agents in the two subgroups achieve consensus and containment,*** MASs with both time-delays and additive noises,two group control protocols are proposed to solve this problem for the containment-oriented case and consensus-oriented case,*** developing a new analysis idea,some sufficient conditions and necessary conditions related to the communication intensity betw een the two subgroups are obtained for the following two types of group hybrid coordination behavior:1)Agents in one subgroup and in another subgroup achieve weak consensus and containment,respectively;2)Agents in one subgroup and in another subgroup achieve strong consensus and containment,*** is revealed that the decay of the communication impact betw een the two subgroups is necessary for the consensus-oriented ***,the validity of the group control results is verified by several simulation examples.

Optimal Scheduling of an Independent Electro-Hydrogen System with Hybrid Energy Storage Using a Multi-Objective Standardization Fusion Method

In the independent electro-hydrogen system(IEHS)with hybrid energy storage(HESS),achieving optimal scheduling is ***,it presents a challenge due to the significant deviations in values ofmultiple optimization objective functions caused by their physical *** deviations seriously affect the scheduling process.A novel standardization fusion method has been established to address this issue by analyzing the variation process of each objective function’s *** optimal scheduling results of IEHS with HESS indicate that the economy and overall energy loss can be improved 2–3 times under different optimization *** proposed method better balances all optimization objective functions and reduces the impact of their *** the cost of BESS decreases by approximately 30%,its participation deepens by about 1 ***,if the price of the electrolyzer is less than 15¥/kWh or if the cost of the fuel cell drops below 4¥/kWh,their participation will increase *** study aims to provide a more reasonable approach to solving multi-objective optimization problems.

Wireless Protocol-Based control of Smart Electric Drive Using Sampled Time Secure Communication of Chaotic Systems

This paper presents a novel smart electric drive control system that enables fully wireless bidirectional communication between the controller, power supply, and sensors to facilitate real-time data sharing. The primary challenge in such systems arises from cybersecurity threats in wireless communication, requiring secure encryption and synchronization mechanisms to prevent data interception and tampering. To ensure secure transmissions, a chaos-based encryption scheme is implemented using the Liu chaotic system, formulated in the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy (TS fuzzy) model to simplify computational complexity in synchronization control. A sliding mode control (SMC) strategy is designed to provide robust tracking performance, ensuring system stability under parameter variations and disturbances. To further enhance the control precision, a homogeneous super-twisting algorithm (HSTA)-based disturbance observer (DO) is introduced, effectively compensating for external perturbations and ensuring smooth operation. The DO also allows the use of a smaller SMC gain, which helps reduce chattering while maintaining control robustness. The Lyapunov stability theory is applied to rigorously analyze the system’s stability, confirming the reliability of the proposed approach in wireless motor control applications. The system is experimentally validated on ESP32 microcontrollers, demonstrating fast response times, minimal steady-state error, and real-time secure motor control. Performance evaluation using speed response signals confirms the effectiveness of the proposed control and encryption techniques, making it suitable for industrial automation and IoT-driven motor control systems. © 2013 IEEE.

HKB-YOLO: transmission line fire detection method based on hierarchical feature fusion

Timely transmission line fire inspections are vital for power system safety. Although deep learning models are widely used for flame detection, struggle with small target recognition due to background interference and are vulnerable to input data perturbations, posing security risks. This study introduces a hierarchical feature fusion method based on the you only look once Version 8 (YOLOV8) framework. It employs high-performance GPU network version 2 (HGNetV2) to enhance small-target feature extraction while reducing computational complexity. A spatial pyramid pooling-fast module with large separable kernel attention is designed to highlight key features and suppress background noise. The proposed bidirectional slim neck structure (BiSlimneck) reduces feature loss. Adversarial training enhances the model’s robustness. Experimental results show a 1.4% accuracy improvement, with a reduction in parameters and complexity by 18.3% and 21.6%, respectively. After adversarial training, the accuracy of the network in the face of attacks increased by 10% compared to the pre-training. Copyright © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with prescribed-time Nash equilibrium(PTNE)seeking problem in a pursuit-evasion game(PEG)involving agents with second-order *** order to achieve the prior-given and user-defined convergence time for the PEG,a PTNE seeking algorithm has been developed to facilitate collaboration among multiple pursuers for capturing the evader without the need for any global ***,it is theoretically proved that the prescribedtime convergence of the designed algorithm for achieving Nash equilibrium of ***,the effectiveness of the PTNE method was validated by numerical simulation results.A PEG consists of two groups of agents:evaders and *** pursuers aim to capture the evaders through cooperative efforts,while the evaders strive to evade *** is a classic noncooperative *** has attracted plenty of attention due to its wide application scenarios,such as smart grids[1],formation control[2],[3],and spacecraft rendezvous[4].It is noteworthy that most previous research on seeking the Nash equilibrium of the game,where no agent has an incentive to change its actions,has focused on asymptotic and exponential convergence[5]-[7].

Vision-Based Quadrotor Rapid Landing control with An Uncooperative Platform: An Alternating Predictive Observer Approach

The challenge of allowing a quadrotor to land quickly on an unknown moving platform using visual cues is addressed. A position-based visual servoing (PBVS) framework is designed that utilises the relative position data captured by the onboard camera to ensure a successful landing. The inherent limitation imposed by the camera's low sampling rate, which hampers the update and transfer rate of control commands, is mitigated by introducing an alternating predictive observer (APO). This observer inputs rapid actual or virtual position information into the control system. Actual relative positions are used for observer design when available from the camera, whereas virtual relative positions, predicted by the quadrotor model, are used when direct sampling is unattainable. This approach enables a process that alternates between prediction and observation, allowing for the design of a sampled-data controller that updates at a fast rate, commensurate with the APO. The robustness of the proposed PBVS-APO controller is exhibited, requiring no prior knowledge of the platform's dynamics. Validation through numerical simulations and experiments confirms the high control bandwidth and the rapid landing efficacy of the control strategy. IEEE
