A Novel Belief Rule-Based Fault Diagnosis Method with Interpretability

Fault diagnosis plays an irreplaceable role in the normal operation of equipment.A fault diagnosis model is often required to be interpretable for increasing the trust between humans and the *** to the understandable knowledge expression and transparent reasoning process,the belief rule base(BRB)has extensive applications as an interpretable expert system in fault *** is an effective means to weaken the subjectivity of experts in BRB,where the interpretability of BRB may be ***,to obtain a credible result,the weakening factors of interpretability in the BRB-based fault diagnosis model are firstly analyzed,which are manifested in deviation from the initial judgement of experts and over-optimization of *** these two factors,three indexes are proposed,namely the consistency index of rules,consistency index of the rule base and over-optimization index,tomeasure the interpretability of the *** both the accuracy and interpretability of amodel,an improved coordinate ascent(I-CA)algorithmis proposed to fine-tune the parameters of the fault diagnosis model based on *** I-CA,the algorithm combined with the advance and retreat method and the golden section method is employed to be one-dimensional search ***,the random optimization sequence and adaptive step size are proposed to improve the accuracy of the ***,a case study of fault diagnosis in aerospace relays based on BRB is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The speed regulation problem with only speed measurement is investigated in this paper for a permanent magnet direct current(DC)motor driven by a buck *** lumping all unknown matched/unmatched disturbances and uncertainties together,the traditional active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)approach provides an intuitive solution for the problem under ***,for such a higher-order disturbed system,the increase of poles for the extended state observer(ESO)therein will lead to drastically growth of observer gains,which causes severe noise *** paper aims to propose a new model-based disturbance rejection controller for the converter-driven DC motor system using *** of estimating lumped disturbances directly,a new observer is constructed to estimate the desired steady state of control signal as well as errors between the real states and their desired steady-state ***,a controller with only speed measurement is proposed by utilizing the *** performance of the proposed method is tested through experiments on *** is further shown via numerical calculations and experimental results that the poles of the observer within the proposed control approach can be largely increased without significantly increasing magnitude of the observer gains.

In order to address the problem of incomplete feature extraction, missed tracking, and incorrect tracking in dense small object tracking tasks, This paper proposes a DeepSort method based on YOLOv.X for input detection. This method uses YOLOv5 as the detection input for DeepSort to obtain more complete detection box information for dense small objects;Then, the feature extraction and fusion parts in YOLOv5 are reused to replace the appearance feature extraction network in DeepSort, improving the algorithm's performance in extracting features from dense small objects;On this basis, the CIoU algorithm is used as a measure of the correlation between unmatched detection boxes and unmatched prediction boxes during the tracking process to avoid unnecessary trajectory loss. The experimental results show that compared with the original DeepSort tracking algorithm, the improved algorithm improved the MOTA index by 3.6%, the MOTP index by 2.9%, and reduced the error ID conversion index by 269 times. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a new approach for addressing the complex problem of Multi-target tracking in external radiation radar systems equipped with Multi-static Doppler measurements. Drawing from research on sensor arrays and mobile sensors, the method utilizes the Generalized Labelled Multi-Bernoulli (GLMB) filter to navigate the intricacies of Multi-target tracking across sensor arrays. The study validates the effectiveness of the GLMB and the computationally efficient Gibbs-GLMB filters in a setup involving three transmitters and one receiver. Experimental results, assessed with the Optimal Sub-Pattern Assignment (OSPA) metric, suggest that the Gibbs-GLMB filter accelerates computation while potentially compromising on measurement precision, which could lead to reduced accuracy in specific cases. The investigation also examines the influence of sensor geometry on tracking results, indicating that there is an association between tracking performance and sensor arrangement. © 2024 IEEE.

The exploration of eco-friendly insulating gas to substitute the most potent greenhouse gas sulphur hexafluoride(SF6)has consistently garnered significant ***,the au-thors evaluated the feasibility of utilising perfluoromethyl vinyl ether(PMVE,C_(3)F_(6)O)as a new branch of eco-friendly insulating gas for the first *** primary dielectric and stability characteristics of PMVE regarding AC breakdown,partial discharge,dielectric recovery,and decomposition properties were revealed under various gas pressure and electrical field *** was found that PMVE demonstrated superior dielectric strength,with the AC breakdown and PD inception voltage(PDIV)1.10 and 1.14 times that of pure SF_(6).Furthermore,the dielectric strength of PMVE exhibits stability even after undergoing 100 cycles of AC breakdowns,and there is no observable formation of solid precipitation on the electrode *** discharge decomposition of PMVE mainly generates fluorocarbon(CF_(4),C_(2)F_(6),C_(3)F_(6),C_(3)F_(8),etc.)and ***,the exceptional insulation stabilityandno absence of solidprecipitation featuresendow PMVE tobe utilised as a new eco-friendly gas for SF_(6)-free gas-insulated equipment.

This paper studies the formation control problem of heterogeneous multi-agent systems. We consider a heterogeneous multi-agent system with the first-order linear leaders and second-order nonlinear followers. A distributed formation control protocol is devised to make the system achieve formation control. Furthermore, using Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality method the stability analysis of the system is conducted, and the sufficient condition is presented for successful formation control in heterogeneous multi-agent systems. Despite Jiles-Atherton (J-A) hysteresis theory has been widely used in the analysis of magnetic properties of iron core components in electric power equipment, the transient modeling of switching device considering hysteresis characteristics remains more challenging given that most electromagnetic transient simulation software lacks a practical dynamic J-A hysteresis inductor model. A J-A hysteresis inductor model considering the iron core's dynamic loss was developed with the Electromagnetic Transients Program-Alternative Transients Program (EMTPATP) in this study. The classical J-A hysteresis theory was first modified from the perspective of energy conservation equation. Then, the differential equations of the J-A hysteresis model considering dynamic loss were derived according to the field separation and statistical theory of losses, and the final J-A model parameters were determined by particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The modified dynamic J-A hysteresis model was programmed by Model Language using the Type-94 component in EMTP-ATP, thereby obtaining a dynamic J-A hysteresis inductor model that can be used for electromagnetic transient simulation. The proposed model was verified by sinusoidal excitation test and harmonic excitation simulation. The results show that the excitation simulation outcomes of the dynamic J-A hysteresis inductor model were well fit in the measured data, and it could work stably under harmonic excitation condition, which verifies the feasibility of this model. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the current situation that the traditional overcurrent protection device is difficult to detect the low-voltage series arc fault, a detection model for low-voltage series fault arc based on Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) was proposed, utilizing a VMD method optimized by the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA). Firstly, WOA was used to optimize the VMD parameters of different loads to decompose the signal. Then, a multi-feature data set was constructed by combining Pearson correlation coefficient and random forest importance assessment. Finally, combined with support vector machine, a low-voltage series arc fault detection model was built. The results show that the accuracy of the proposed arc fault detection method is more than 99 %, and it is suitable for a variety of typical loads. © 2024 IEEE.

The stable operation of switchgear plays a pivotal role in maintaining the reliable operation of the power system. Whether the switchgear can be operated stably directly affects the reliability of the power system, and a series of aging and damage triggered by heat in the switchgear is the most common and the most important type of failure of the switchgear. Therefore, this paper will be based on the theory of heat generation of electrical appliances, heat transfer theory and airflow field theory and other related theories, synthesize the current status of research at home and abroad and the calculation method of temperature distribution, KYN-type 10kV switchgear as the object of research, its modeling, simulation analysis, and optimization of its temperature rise condition. This study provides important reference significance for the stable operation of 10KV switchgear in the power system. © 2024 IEEE.

With the increasing development of power grids, the problem of ferroresonance in neutral-point non-grounded power distribution systems is becoming more and more serious. Due to the close similarities in characteristics between single-phase grounding fault overvoltage and ferroresonance overvoltage, in order to correctly diagnose the type of overvoltage, firstly, the simulation model was built by PSCAD to obtain the simulation waveform of different faults. Then, the resonance overvoltage fault feature extraction method based on VMD was constructed by MATLAB. Finally, by comparing the influence of the number of input layer nodes and the number of hidden layer neurons on the BP neural network, the BP neural network was optimized by MATLAB to achieve the identification of ferroresonance and normal working, grounding fault states, and provide a reliable judgment standard for the action of protection devices. © 2024 IEEE.
