With high accuracy and storage efficiency, digital track map plays an important role in train positioning system as a special sensor, and directly affects the safety of the train operation control. In this paper, the characteristics of the track are analyzed with practical measurements, a distance discrimination is utilized to reject abnormal data, and a vertical distance criterion and cubic spline curve based algorithm is presented to reduct numerous measurement data and fit the track. By using the distance criterion and vertical distance based local optimum algorithm, a group of feature points are generated to represent the feature of rail tracks. Then the well-fitting cubic spline algorithm is employed to fit the tracks with high precision and optimize the feature point set, and then the smooth tracks could be realized by segmental cubic curves. Validation with practical measurements from Qinghai-Tibet line demonstrate that with a proper limited error of the vertical distance the proposed algorithm could realize data reduction and map generation effectively.

Train positioning with high precision and integrity is crucial to train control system. For conventional positioning methods in multi-sensor integration frame could not meet the performance requirements, a GNSS/INS integrated positioning system architecture is built, in which the cubature Kalman filter is analyzed and employed to solve the problem of nonlinearity and computation efficiency, and the integrity design is realized by the principal component analysis based fault detection and diagnosis. Validation with practical measurement and results of simulation demonstrate that the CKF approach earns a high accuracy and efficiency ability than traditional UKF and PF solutions, and the integrity performance of the train positioning system could be improved by the PCA based FDD strategies.

This paper is to propose a fault knowledge acquisition method for metro vehicles fault diagnosis at present, the lack of metro vehicles fault diagnosis knowledge and the difficulty of acquiring the fault diagnosis knowledge hinder the development of fault diagnosis for metro vehicles. On the basis of profounding analysis of the mechanism for the forming of metro vehicle faults, this method is to design a new fault diagnosis models and simulations. Then simulating results are to comprehensively analyzed and transformed into fault diagnosis knowledge available for the expert system. It's proved by application that this method improves the reliability of fault information acquisition, which attaches great importance in fault knowledge acquisition for complicated equipment, especially for equipment of metro vehicles.

Passenger flow operation is an urgent issue to be solved for the segmental construction of passenger dedicated lines in China. In essence, passenger flow operation is the mergence and splitting of passenger flows. Therefore, this study establishes a railway passenger flow operation model based on distributed artificial intelligence form the essence of passenger flow. Passenger flow agents and the passenger flow alliance agents are modeled. Finally, a connecting network of passenger flow alliance agents is designed. This study provides a new method for passenger flow operation on passenger dedicated lines.

This paper provides a method for rail traffic passenger flow assignment and simulation evaluation, focusing on passenger flow and transportation resource assignment and selection in the optimization process of line planning. Distributed artificial intelligence is introduced to research the decision of passenger flow assignment methods based on distributed autonomous decision-making of high-speed rail traffic, since decision making during resource allocation is so complicated. This method can represent resource competition, passenger flow cooperation and the coordination of different kinds of transportation resource. Meanwhile, a simulation model and method for passenger flow assignment is proposed based on passengers' choice behavior to describe the status changes of traffic flow and transportation facilities under different scenarios of a given train service plan. This method not only reflects the relationship between passenger flow and transportation service, and different kinds of transportation resource in different districts, but also accomplishes the analysis and the evaluation of passenger flow assignment.

The cluster monitoring system observes the operation of the system, analyzes the performance data, and displays results. It is crucial for cluster management and performance measurements as the monitoring data can be used to diagnose problems and to suggest remedies by both end users and system administrators. Scalable resource monitoring is essential to the cluster management. This paper proposes a scalable cluster monitoring architecture that builds a structured data aggregation tree(DAT) of master monitoring nodes by using the Chord P2P algorithm. The DAT leverages the Chord topology and routing mechanisms and it is implicitly constructed from native Chord routing paths without previous monitoring nodes membership and topology configuration. To balance the storage space used by monitoring data and computing load of the monitoring node, we propose a balanced routing algorithm that dynamically selects the parent of a node from its finger nodes by its distance to the root. We have evaluated the performance and scalability of our DAT-based monitoring system with up to 2500 nodes in a simulated environment. Our experiments results show that the balanced DAT scheme monitoring system scales well to a large number of nodes. Without explicitly configuring parent-child relationship, it is well adaptive to node arrival and departure and can be easily deployed.

Combining the advantages of model-based testing (MBT) method in the testing-automation field, as well as the advantages of TTCN-3 testing language in the field of the message-based black box testing, this paper presents a automatic testing approach of distributed real-time System based on the MBT and TTCN-3. Under the premise of considering the complexity and the real-time features of the distributed real-time system, this method first decomposed the distributed real-time system into multiple entities;for each entity, using an extended time Input/Output AutomataLabeled-ports TIOA(LpTIOA) to describe the entity according to its functional requirement specification;then derive the test case set based on an improved search algorithm;and then transfer these test cases into TTCN-3 language described test cases according to the seven regulation presented in this paper;finally achieved the TTCN-3 test platform and complete some functional tests on the CTCS-3 Level Onboard subsystem.

As we all know, freeway solves the problem about the lack of the transportation resources in home and then contributes to the development in economy. However, as economy developed fast, the growing number of motor, together with people's favor to choose freeway, makes freeway full of motor, chaos and congestion. On-ramp control is one of the efficient ways to regulate the flow of traffic entering the freeway and reduce the congestion on freeway. Based on ramp control in freeway and simulation and modeling, which is discussed in home and abroad, this essay used the micro-model, Cellular Automata traffic model (CA) in on-ramp transportation modeling, hoping that the freeway on-ramp transportation model could describe the character of the real on-ramp transportation in freeway; according to the long waiting-queue problem on the on-ramp, signal control system is applied with two different control methods, set-time signal timing method and dynamic signal timing method; based on the simulation results, conclusion is obtained.

In this paper, releasing range model of traffic guidance information is formulated based on combinatorial optimization by the correlation analysis of road traffic flow in time and space. As it is hard to get the optimal solution in a limited time through analysis, a greedy algorithm and a simulated annealing (SA) based algorithm are presented to solve the model. Some traffic flow data detected by remote microwave sensors in some road links in Beijing urban expressway are employed to compare the two algorithms. The results show that SA based algorithm has achieved better result even its running time is little longer than the greedy algorithm. Therefore the proposed SA based algorithms can be used to improve the pertinency, validity and automation of releasing traffic guidance information.
