Hybrid optimization of dynamic deployment for networked fire control system

With applying the information technology to the military field, the advantages and importance of the networked combat are more and more obvious. In order to make full use of limited battlefield resources and maximally destroy enemy targets from arbitrary angle in a limited time, the research on firepower nodes dynamic deployment becomes a key problem of command and control. Considering a variety of tactical indexes and actual constraints in air defense, a mathematical model is formulated to minimize the enemy target penetration probability. Based on characteristics of the mathematical model and demands of the deployment problems, an assistance-based algorithm is put forward which combines the artificial potential field （APF） method with a memetic algorithm. The APF method is employed to solve the constraint handling problem and generate feasible solutions. The constrained optimization problem transforms into an optimization problem of APF parameters adjustment, and the dimension of the problem is reduced greatly. The dynamic deployment is accomplished by generation and refinement of feasible solutions. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and feasible in dynamic situation.

Application of fuzzy cognitive map in information intelligent push

Since computer system functions are becoming increasingly complex, the user has to spend much more time on the process of seeking information, instead of utilizing the required infor- mation. Information intelligent push technology could replace the traditional method to speed up the information retrieval process. The fuzzy cognitive map has strong knowledge representation ability and reasoning capability. Information intelligent push with the basis on fuzzy cognitive map could ab- stract the computer user＇ s operations to a fuzzy cognitive map, and infer the user＇ s operating inten- tions. The reasoning results will be translated into operational events, and drive the computer system to push appropriate information to the user.

Cycle-slip Detection of GPS Carrier Phase with Methodology of SA4 Multi-wavelet Transform

That cycle-slips remain undetected will significantly degrade the accuracy of the navigation solution when using carrier phase measurements in global positioning system （GPS）. In this paper, an algorithm based on length-4 symmetric/anti-symmetric （SA4） orthogonal multi-wavelet is presented to detect and identify cycle-slips in the context of the feature of the GPS zero-differential carrier phase measurements. Associated with the local singularity detection principle, cycle-slips can be detected and located precisely through the modulus maxima of the coefficients achieved by the multi-wavelet transform. Firstly, studies are focused on the feasibility of the algorithm employing the orthogonal multi-wavelet system such as Geronimo-Hardin-Massopust （GHM）, Chui-Lian （CL） and SA4. Moreover, the mathematical characterization of singularities with Lipschitz exponents is explained, the modulus maxima from wavelet to multi-wavelet domain is extended and a localization formula is provided from the modulus maxima of the coefficients to the original observation. Finally, field experiments with real receiver are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. Because SA4 possesses the specific nature of good multi-filter properties （GMPs）, it is superior to scalar wavelet and other orthogonal multi-wavelet candidates distinctly, and for the half-cycle slip, it also remains better detection, location ability and the equal complexity of wavelet transform.

One-bit consensus of controllable linear multi-agent systems with communication noises

This paper addresses the one-bit consensus of controllable linear multi-agent systems (MASs) with communication noises. A consensus algorithm consisting of a communication protocol and a consensus controller is designed. The communication protocol introduces a linear compression encoding function to achieve a one-bit data rate, thereby saving communication costs. The consensus controller with a stabilization term and a consensus term is proposed to ensure the consensus of a potentially unstable but controllable MAS. Specifically, in the consensus term, we adopt an estimation method to overcome the information loss caused by one-bit communications and a decay step to attenuate the effect of communication noise. Two combined Lyapunov functions are constructed to overcome the difficulty arising from the coupling of the control and estimation. By establishing similar iterative structures of these two functions, this paper shows that the MAS can achieve consensus in the mean square sense at the rate of the reciprocal of the iteration number under the case with a connected fixed topology. Moreover, the theoretical results are generalized to the case with jointly connected Markovian switching topologies by establishing a certain equivalence relationship between the Markovian switching topologies and a fixed topology. Sequential fusion estimation for multisensor systems with non-Gaussian noises

The sequential fusion estimation for multisensor systems disturbed by non-Gaussian but heavytailed noises is studied in this paper. Based on multivariate t-distribution and the approximate t-filter,the sequential fusion algorithm is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and compared with the t-filter-based centralized batch fusion and the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized fusion. Theoretical analysis and exhaustive experimental analysis show that the proposed algorithm is effective. As the generalization of the classical Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal sequential fusion algorithm, the presented algorithm is shown to be superior to the Gaussian Kalman filter-based optimal centralized batch fusion and the optimal sequential fusion in estimation of dynamic systems with non-Gaussian noises.

Graph Neural Networks (GNN) has become a powerful graph data processing method, which has been widely used in node classification, link prediction, and other graph analysis tasks. Due to the diversity and complexity of graph structures and information propagation, as well as the handling of heterogeneous graphs, etc., the design of GNNs presents many challenges. The existing methods have high classification accuracy, but their structures are very complex. In this paper, a graph neural network architecture search framework named MO-GNN, which is based on multi-objective evolutionary algorithm is proposed. Furthermore, a weight sharing strategy MO-GNN-WS is proposed to reduce the resource consumption caused by weight training of different architectures. To verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, experiments on four popular graph datasets are used for transduction and induction tasks. The experimental results show that the MO-GNN-WS algorithm outperforms the most advanced neural network architecture search methods in terms of classification accuracy and resource consumption. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

In recent years, the rapid advancement of automation control and intelligent sensing technologies has positioned autonomous driving as a focal point of interest for both academia and industry. As core equipment in modern construction and industrial production, engineering machinery urgently requires intelligent transformation. To promote the intelligent development of engineering machinery, we have designed an integrated intelligent autonomous driving bulldozer system, which can be extended to various types of engineering machinery. For the specific mine dumping operation environment, we propose a multisensor fusion pose estimation algorithm framework based on the Global Navigation Satellite System, inertial measurement unit, visual cameras, and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) to address issues arising from sensor failures under harsh construction conditions. Furthermore, to ensure safety during task execution, we design a three-dimensional object detection method based on the optimal observation plane from LiDAR data. By integrating pose estimation and environmental perception results, we develop a comprehensive work planning and path-tracking algorithm to maintain task efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate that our intelligent autonomous driving bulldozer system performs excellently under various working conditions. The accuracy of its pose estimation, object detection, and path tracking meets the requirements of actual construction environments, showcasing its significant potential in engineering applications. © 2025 Wiley Periodicals LLC.

Aerial target threat assessment based on gated recurrent unit and self-attention mechanism

Aerial threat assessment is a crucial link in modern air combat, whose result counts a great deal for commanders to make decisions. With the consideration that the existing threat assessment methods have difficulties in dealing with high dimensional time series target data, a threat assessment method based on self-attention mechanism and gated recurrent unit(SAGRU) is proposed. Firstly, a threat feature system including air combat situations and capability features is established. Moreover, a data augmentation process based on fractional Fourier transform(FRFT) is applied to extract more valuable information from time series situation features. Furthermore, aiming to capture key characteristics of battlefield evolution, a bidirectional GRU and SA mechanisms are designed for enhanced ***, after the concatenation of the processed air combat situation and capability features, the target threat level will be predicted by fully connected neural layers and the softmax classifier. Finally, in order to validate this model, an air combat dataset generated by a combat simulation system is introduced for model training and testing. The comparison experiments show the proposed model has structural rationality and can perform threat assessment faster and more accurately than the other existing models based on deep learning.

A joint mid-course and terminal course cooperative guidance law for multi-missile salvo attack

Salvo attacking a surface target by multiple missiles is an effective tactic to enhance the lethality and penetrate the defense system. However, existing cooperative guidance laws in the midcourse or terminal course are not suitable for long-and medium-range missiles or stand-off attacking. Because the initial conditions of cooperative terminal guidance that are generally generated from the mid-course flight may not lead to a successful cooperative terminal guidance without proper mid-course flight adjustment. Meanwhile, cooperative guidance in the mid-course cannot solely guarantee the accuracy of a simultaneous arrival of multiple missiles. Therefore, a joint mid-course and terminal course cooperative guidance law is developed. By building a distinct leader-follower framework, this paper proposes an efficient coordinated Dubins path planning method to synchronize the arrival time of all engaged missiles in the mid-course flight. The planned flight can generate proper initial conditions for cooperative terminal guidance, and also benefit an earliest simultaneous arrival. In the terminal course, an existing cooperative proportional navigation guidance law guides all the engaged missiles to arrive at a target accurately and *** integrated guidance law for an intuitive application is summarized. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed method can generate fast and accurate salvo attack.

SmokeAgent: Multimodal agent for fine-grained smoke event analysis in large-scale wild environments

In recent years, numerous outstanding works have emerged in the field of smoke recognition;however, challenges related to fine-grained analysis and intelligence persist in wild application scenarios. This paper approaches the problem from a new perspective, designing the first interactive Fine-Grained Smoke Analysis Agent (dubbed as SmokeAgent). Unlike traditional smoke detectors, SmokeAgent ingeniously integrates a Multi-modal Foundation Model (MFM) to detect non-rigid, semi-transparent smoke objects. It not only provides accurate fine-grained smoke category predictions but also achieves interactive close-up observations through camera manipulation. Specifically, leveraging the existing feature learning capacity of the MFM, we first design a general smoke recognition module, followed by a spatial prompt-based feature mining method to enhance the MFM's ability to analyze local smoke targets. We also design an action space for camera manipulation, allowing the agent to dynamically retrieve information and refine its fine-grained cognition in wild scenarios. Additionally, we collected the first dataset that includes both wide shot and close-up images, covering fine-grained categories such as agricultural smoke, forest fire smoke, industrial emissions, residential smoke, and fog. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed SmokeAgent model offers more fine-grained and intelligent detection capabilities in wild scenarios compared to traditional smoke detectors. © 2025
