The state estimation of general nonlinear systems is investigated through a parameter-dependent approach. This paper adopts the polytopic approximation for the nonlinear systems, which facilitates the application of analytical approaches for resultant convex-bounded linear systems into the given nonlinear systems. The design of a high performance H2state estimator is firstly determined by solving a convex optimization problem constrained by relaxed linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The tensor product (TP) model transformation is then adopted to obtain the polytopic linearization. Specifically, A new process is presented to correct the result of the TP model transformation such that a necessary condition to solve the state estimation problem is assured. Finally, a numerical simulation is performed to illustrate the design process and verify the performance. © 2015 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

The multi-point dynamic aggregation (MPDA) is a typical task planning problem. In order to solve the MPDA problem efficiently, a hybrid differential evolution (DE) and estimation of distribution algorithm (EDA) called DE-EDA is proposed in this paper, which combines the merits of DE and EDA. The DE-EDA has been applied to multiple MPDA instances of different scales, and compared with EDA and two versions of DE in convergence speed and solution quality separately. The results demonstrate the DE-EDA can solve the MPDA problem effectively. © 2018 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Deforestation is the primary source of global warming;traditional shelf labels use paper to display the price of the products, and human forces play a pivotal role in updating the tags where the pandemic has strictly limited its power. Various technologies provide connectivity and a fast-updating system to eliminate the paper-based approach. LoRa is one of the contenders to design the system for electronic shelf labels (ESLs). In this paper, LoRa has been used to minify data losses and guarantee the successful decoding of the carrier signals. The data parallelism at the network server (NS) is used to distribute the data packets among the gateways (GWs) for concurrent transmissions to the end devices (EDs). The EDs are placed in different ranges using machine clustering to avoid intra-SF interference and collision. The data rate (DR) and spreading factors (SFs) have been proposed to improve the performance of pure and slotted ALOHA for the properly allocated tags. The orthogonality principles follow industrial, scientific, and medical regulations (ISM) to avoid data traffic congestion. GWs under different duty cycles (DC) and bandwidth (BW) are examined to minify the network saturation and reduce the energy harvesting of the tags. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Aggregation in Intersection Region for Distributed Heterogeneous Mobile Sensor Networks

This paper presents two aggregation strategies in convex intersection region for the distributed mobile sensor network (MSN) with heterogeneous dynamics. First, the authors analyze individual local perception model and dynamics model, set the intersection of all the local perceptions as the region of interest (ROI). The MSN consists of sensors with first-order dynamics and second-order dynamics. Then, the authors design a control strategy to ensure that individuals aggregate at a point in the ROI relying on their local perceptions and the locations of neighbors within their communication scope. The authors describe this situation of aggregation as rendezvous. In addition, the authors introduce artificial potential field to make sensors deploy dispersedly in a bounded range near the ROI, which the authors call dispersed deployment. Finally, the authors prove the stability of the proposed strategies and validate the theoretical results by simulations. This research is applied for the cooperative deployment and data collection of mobile platforms with different dynamics under the condition of inaccurate perception.

Accurate real-time estimation plays an important role in smart grids. Although various filtering algorithms, such as unscented Kalman filter (UKF), have been proposed for phasor measurement unit (PMU), they occupy huge communication bandwidth without specific concern, which puts heavy burden on the communication network especially when wireless communications are applied. In order to relief this burden, the event-based cubature Kalman filter (EBCKF) is proposed based on event-based schemes in this paper. The event-based strategy guarantees that only the observations containing innovational information are transmitted, and cubature Kalman filter (CKF), which is based on the spherical cubature integration, provides more accurate estimation than UKF. Besides, the design-oriented communication rate is provided corresponding to the event-based strategy design. The proposed filter can effectively reduce the communication rate while ensuring the accuracy of filtering. Finally, the standard IEEE 39-bus system is utilized to verify the feasibility and performance of the proposed method. © 2017

In order to study to design a photoelectric intelligent platform based on multifunctional edge computing equipment by using photoelectric detection equipment TC505C, RK-Series Development Kits computing platform and Nvidia Jetson Series. The photoelectric intelligent platform can be used to run multiple target detection algorithms after design and implementation. Completed as follows. First of all, after the first stage of the photoelectric intelligent platform is completed, the host computer can establish communication with the photoelectric detection equipment, carry out automatic or manual servo control on the photoelectric detection equipment, switch its visible and infrared field of view and view it in real time through the monitor, and realize simple tracking function through the image processing box. Secondly, after the second stage of the photoelectric intelligent platform is built, under the premise of ensuring the normal availability of servo function, a variety of target detection algorithms can be debugged on multifunctional edge computing equipment. Overall, this paper uses the modular design concept to design, debug and implement the system in stages. Pay attention to the synchronous debugging of hardware and software functions of each module to ensure the stability of each module. A maxillofacial Multi-arm surgery robot is employed to assisting maxillofacial surgery, which can improve surgical precision and reduce surgeons' strain. Thus, the safety during the processing of the surgery is necessary for protecting the patient and preventing the quality of the surgery. This paper presents the development of a collision and self-collision-detection scheme, for Maxillofacial Multi-arm Surgery Robot. The method is based on modeling the arm of Multi-arm robot and the obstacle in surgery environment by simple geometric primitives (cylinders and spheres). Methods of detecting collision about the cylinders and the spheres are introduced. By resorting to the pose of cylinder or sphere which presents in the workspace, many different types of collisions are introduced. The performance of the collision-avoidance scheme is demonstrated with Multi-arm robot via experiments.

Combined with modern imaging techniques and minimally invasive treatment techniques, microwave ablation surgeries have become one of the most effective methods in the modern comprehensive treatment of cancer. To solve the problems exist in traditional surgeries, microwave ablation surgical robot has been successfully developed. At first, this paper briefly introduces the robot auxiliary treatment process. Then analyzes the ultrasound-guided positioning system in detail. At last, the paper focuses on experimental research process such as robot localization experiment and precision experiment. The experimental results will verify the effectiveness of the robot system and the accuracy of the treatment. Meanwhile, the problems exist in the system are discussed and he future research direction is demonstrated.

In order to make up for the shortcomings of a single inertial sensor,which is easily disturbed and unable to directly describe the periodic characteristics of gait,a novel gait events detection algorithm is proposed which is based on the invariant characteristics of hip joint *** healthy volunteers conducted a walking experiment over the ground,who were equipped with motion capture device and insole with *** hip angle derived from motion capture device were applied to detect gait events,heel stride(HS) and toe off(TO).And the gait events detected by ground reactor force(GRF) were taken as the reference *** mean absolute difference of HS is 28±42 ms,and the mean absolute difference of TO is 27 ± 43 ms. And the confidence levels of the two gait events are 97.5% and 99.2%,*** results demonstrate that the proposed gait events detection algorithm is reliability and has potential clinical application value.
