In this paper, the outlier-resistant distributed filtering problem based on amplify-and-forward relays is studied for discrete time-varying nonlinear multi-rate systems with multiple measurement delays over sensor networks, where the augmenting method is utilized to transform the multi-rate system into a single rate system. An amplify-and-forward (AF) relay is set between the sensor and the filter to extend the transmission distance of the signal and ensure the communication transmission quality. The outlier-resistant distributed filter is constructed by introducing a saturation function to limit the innovations, then the upper bound on the filtering error covariance is obtained and the filter gain is designed to minimize such obtained upper bound. Finally, a numerical example is used to show the effectiveness of the outlier-resistant distributed filtering algorithm based on AF relays. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Inspired by the robust student t-distribution based nonlinear filter(RSTNF), a student tdistribution and unscented transform(UT) based filter for state estimation of heavy-tailed nonlinear dynamic systems, a modified RSTNF for intermittent observations is derived. The fusion estimation for nonlinear multisensor systems with intermittent observations and heavy-tailed measurement and process noises is *** this work, the centralized fusion, the sequential fusion, and the na¨?ve distributed fusion algorithms are presented, respectively. Theoretical analysis shows that the presented algorithms are effective, which are the efficient extension of the classical unscented Kalman filter(UKF) or the cubature Kalman filter(CKF) based algorithms with Gaussian noises. Simulation results show that the presented algorithms are effective and feasible.

Cooperative behavior has been of great concern in evolutionary game researches because of its important role in social life and natural evolution. Since memory can greatly influence the emergence of cooperative behavior, memory-based research on evolutionary games has proliferated in recent years. In the present paper, inspired by the well-known 'Stanford marshmallow experiment' (SME), we proposed a multi-memory mechanism in Snowdrift game (SDG) on spatial lattice networks whose core lies in what follows: Players are divided into two groups according to individual self-control;different memory lengths are set by group and by time in a single realization. The simulation results show that our proposed mechanism promotes cooperation level of the considered evolutionary game. More specifically, as memory length increases to an intermediate length, the cooperation level increases as well. For mechanism with short memory length, the effect of population structure is obvious and small values of adjusting factor can intensively facilitate high-frequency cooperative behavior. These findings may be helpful to understand the connection between population heterogeneity and the emergence of high cooperation. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

This paper is concerned with H performance state estimation of static neural networks with a time-varying ***, a PI estimator with exponential term is used to estimate neuron states based on output measurement. Second, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional（LKF） containing delay-product-type non-integral terms and single integral terms is constructed by introducing negative definite terms. After that, a criterion with less conservatism is derived based on extended reciprocally convex matrix inequality. Finally, a numerical example is provided to reveal the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Achieving optimal speed regulation for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) remains a challenging task, particularly in selecting the most suitable controller to meet desired objectives. This paper considers the optimal speed tracking problem of PMSMs. We employ a reinforcement learning algorithm to obtain optimal controller with a linear form. The reinforcement learning approach incorporates a critic-actor network structure, which approximates the value function and optimal control, respectively. Specifically, a weight updating method for the critic network is introduced, where the update of the actor network is guided by the critic network. Through data collection and neural network training, dynamic acquisition of the optimal controller gain is achieved. In addition, a novel activation function is implemented in the network, leading to improved control performance concerning dataset size and reduced training time. At final, a real-world PMSM application is presented along with comparisons to demonstrate effectiveness. The desire idea of resulting optimal controllers is not only applicable to linear systems but also capable of approximating arbitrary nonlinear optimal controllers, thus offering practical engineering versatility.

The rapid development of deep learning provides new technical means for railway foreign object detection. However, in practical applications, the datasets of railways with foreign objects are scarce. In order to solve this problem, by improving the loss function and anomaly image evaluation standard, this paper proposes a newsemisupervised anomaly detection method based on GAN (Generative Adversarial Networks). Experiments show that our method can achieve railway foreign object detection without anomaly prior knowledge. Regarding anomaly recognition, a 0.058 AUC (Area Under Curve) and a 6% classification accuracy relative improvement for the railway dataset used in this paper are obtained.. © 2021 Association for Computing Machinery. With the rapid development and widespread application of Inertial measurement Units (IMUs), IMU-based human localization has become critically important in environments lacking Global Navigation Satellite systems (GNSS) signals. Methods such as UWB/WIFI and other anchor-based localization have been employed to enhance the positioning accuracy. However, these methods are susceptible to the environmental interference and increased costs. In contrast, SINS-based localization methods eliminate reliance on the external data. However, this method can suffer from drift errors due to cumulative integration errors. Inertial navigation error correction techniques like Zero Detection Update Technology (ZUPT) provide potential solutions to address drift errors. This paper proposes an error correction method based on the multithreshold zero-velocity detection and Square Root Cubature Kalman Filter (SRCKF) updates. Compared to the single fixed threshold detection, the multi-threshold zero-velocity detection reduces the likelihood of missed zero velocity detection and false alarms, providing accurate time intervals for error correction. Experimental results demonstrate that the SRCKF-based algorithm reduces position deviation to approximately 0.3146 meters, corresponding to an error ratio of1.14%. The proposed method enables cost-effective and accurate pedestrian localization, driving advancements in the field. © 2023 IEEE.

As the complexity of the power system continues to increase, the frequency of the power system anomalies is on the rise. These anomalies have significant and widespread impacts on the stability of the power grid. Therefore, the rapid and accurate classification of these anomalies is crucial in preventing their further propagation and mitigating potential economic losses. This study presents an algorithm based on Phasor measurement Unit (PMU) data for monitoring the state of power systems and identifying the types of anomalies. First, a dataset for anomaly event classification is created based on PMU data, which is used to train and validate the anomaly event classification model. Subsequently, a robust anomaly event classification model is constructed, consisting of a residual module with one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and a cascaded fully connected neural network classifier. This algorithm has undergone rigorous testing in the IEEE New England 39 bus test system, demonstrating exceptional event recognition accuracy.

Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (STAR-RISs) have recently been employed to enhance the secure transmission due to the ability to manipulate the full-space electromagnetic signals. Prior works mainly investigate the single STAR-RIS aided secure communication system, which does not reveal the potential of the cooperative inter-STAR-RIS link. In this paper, a double STAR-RIS enhanced secure communication network involving multiple legitimate users (LUs) and eavesdroppers (Eves) is proposed. For fairness, the minimum secrecy rate maximization problem is formulated by jointly optimizing the active beamforming and passive transmission and reflection (T&R) beamforming. To deal with the highly non-convex nonlinear optimization problem, an active and passive beamforming optimization algorithm is proposed by employing the alternating optimization method. Wherein, a low-complexity sequential constraint relaxation (SCR) based algorithm is designed to solve the passive T&R beamforming optimization problem. Simulation results demonstrate that the secure performance in the double STAR-RIS assisted system outperforms that in the single RIS/double RIS/single STAR-RIS aided network. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm significantly reduces computational time (i.e., resource allocation time) compared with the traditional SCR based beamforming optimization algorithm. © 2002-2012 IEEE.
