Accurately estimating the State of Health(SOH)and Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is crucial for the continuous and stable operation of battery management ***,due to the complex internal chemical systems of LIBs and the nonlinear degradation of their performance,direct measurement of SOH and RUL is *** address these issues,the Twin Support Vector Machine(TWSVM)method is proposed to predict SOH and ***,the constant current charging time of the lithium battery is extracted as a health indicator(HI),decomposed using Variational Modal Decomposition(VMD),and feature correlations are computed using Importance of Random Forest Features(RF)to maximize the extraction of critical factors influencing battery performance ***,to enhance the global search capability of the Convolution Optimization Algorithm(COA),improvements are made using Good Point Set theory and the Differential Evolution *** Improved Convolution Optimization Algorithm(ICOA)is employed to optimize TWSVM parameters for constructing SOH and RUL prediction ***,the proposed models are validated using NASA and CALCE lithium-ion battery *** results demonstrate that the proposed models achieve an RMSE not exceeding 0.007 and an MAPE not exceeding 0.0082 for SOH and RUL prediction,with a relative error in RUL prediction within the range of[-1.8%,2%].Compared to other models,the proposed model not only exhibits superior fitting capability but also demonstrates robust performance.

A Recommendation Algorithm Incorporating Adaptive Gating Mechanisms and Knowledge Graph Enhancements

Aiming at the problem that existing knowledge graph-based recommendation algorithms do not fully utilize the interaction information between users and items, this paper proposes a recommendation algorithm called Gated Adaptive and Knowledge-Enhanced Recommendation (GAKR) that integrates an adaptive gating mechanism with knowledge graph enhancement. First, GAKR uses a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) in the recommendation module to process the user’s initial feature vector and extract potentially compressible features. Then, for the item feature vector, the model dynamically adjusts the weights of Collaborative Filtering (CF) and Knowledge Graph (KG) through the gating mechanism, generating a more expressive item representation. The gating mechanism calculates the gating value through the sigmoid function, allowing user’s behavioral characteristics in different scenarios to more accurately impact item recommendation. Next, in the Knowledge Graph Embedding (KGE) module, an embedding interaction mechanism is designed, which updates the entity embeddings by using Mobius addition and mapping, capturing higher-order interaction information between entities and relations. To prevent overfitting, GAKR employs L2 regularization during the optimization process, which enhances the model’s generalization ability when handling complex interactions. Finally, a normalized inner product operation is used as an evaluation function to predict the user’s preferences for items. The experimental results on three public datasets from different domains-MovieLens-1M, Book-Crossing and Last. FM-show that the GAKR model outperforms other benchmark models in terms of the evaluation metrics such as AUC, F1-score and recall rate in the CTR (Click Through Rate) and Top-K recommendation scenarios. © 2013 IEEE.

CBIR: a novel identification approach for college students in need based on consumer behavior psychology theory

The accurate identification of students in need is crucial for governments and colleges to allocate resources more effectively and enhance social equity and educational fairness. Existing approaches to identifying students in need rely on manual operations that include manually extracting consumption behavior information, statistical consumption characteristics and principal component analysis. However, this issue may lead to low prediction accuracy and inefficiency in identifying students in need. We design a three-stage framework to accurately identify college students in need from the perspective of consumer behavior psychology. The consumption behavior information is first obtained from the student consumption records using the consumption behavior clustering approach. The consumption behavior matrix is then built by extracting consumption and spatiotemporal information in different periods. Finally, a novel consumption behavior identification ResNeSt (CBIR) model is proposed to identify college students in need accurately. The experimental results on real datasets show that the CBIR model has higher prediction accuracy than the baseline models. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

kProtoClust:Towards Adaptive k-Prototype Clustering without Known k

Owing to its ability to mitigate the double-fading effect by amplifying the reflected signal, the active intelligent reflecting surface(IRS) has garnered significant attention. In this paper, an amplify-and-forward(AF) relay network assisted by a hybrid IRS consisting of both passive and active units is developed. A signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) maximization problem is formulated, where the AF relay beamforming matrix and the hybrid IRS reflecting coefficient matrices for two-time slots need to be optimized. To address the SNR maximization problem, this paper proposes both a high-performance(HP) method and a low-complexity(LC) method. The HP method is based on the semidefinite relaxation and fractional programming(SDR-FP)algorithm, with rank-1 solutions obtained through Gaussian randomization. For the LC method, the amplification coefficient of each active IRS element is assumed to be equal. The SNR maximization problem is then addressed using the whitening filter,generalized power iteration, and generalized Rayleigh-Ritz(WF-GPI-GRR) approach. Simulation results show that compared with the benchmarks, such as the passive IRS-aided AF relay network, the proposed HP-SDR-FP and WF-GPI-GRR methods achieve significant rate improvements. In particular, the HP-SDR-FP and WF-GPI-GRR methods yield more than a 135.0%rate gain when the transmit power Ps of the source is 10 dBm. Furthermore, the proposed HP-SDR-FP method outperforms the WF-GPI-GRR method in terms of rate performance.

The power optimization of mixed polarity Reed–Muller(MPRM)logic circuits is a classic combinatorial optimization *** optimization approaches often suffer from slow convergence and a propensity to converge to local optima,limiting their effectiveness in achieving optimal power ***,we propose a novel multi-strategy fusion memetic algorithm(MFMA).MFMA integrates global exploration via the chimp optimization algorithm with local exploration using the coati optimization algorithm based on the optimal position learning and adaptive weight factor(COA-OLA),complemented by population management through truncation ***,leveraging MFMA,we propose a power optimization approach for MPRM logic circuits that searches for the best polarity configuration to minimize circuit *** results based on Microelectronics Center of North Carolina(MCNC)benchmark circuits demonstrate significant improvements over existing power optimization *** achieves a maximum power saving rate of 72.30%and an average optimization rate of 43.37%;it searches for solutions faster and with higher quality,validating its effectiveness and superiority in power optimization.

SSMamba: Superpixel Segmentation with Mamba

Deep convolutional networks have achieved remarkable success in superpixel segmentation. However, they only focus on local features ignoring global attributes. The visual Mamba demonstrates an exceptional capability to capture long-range dependencies and offers a lower computational cost compared to the Transformer. Building on this inspiration, we propose a novel superpixel segmentation with Mamba, termed SSMamba. In SSMamba, Mamba is integrated into a global-local architecture, enabling efficient interaction between global attributes and local features to produce high-quality superpixels. The designed activation function further enhances the effectiveness of SSMamba. Extensive experiments on four public datasets demonstrate that SSMamba outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods, achieving competitive average values of ASA=0.9541, BR=0.8768, BP=0.2124, UE=0.0910, and CO=0.3698. The secured access is studied in this paper for the network of the image remote *** sensor in this network encounters the information security when uploading information of the images wirelessly from the sensor to the central collection *** order to enhance the sensing quality for the remote uploading,the passive reflection surface technique is *** one eavesdropper that exists nearby this sensor is keeping on accessing the same networks,he may receive the same image from this *** goal in this paper is to improve the SNR of legitimate collection unit while cut down the SNR of the eavesdropper as much as possible by adaptively adjust the uploading power from this sensor to enhance the security of the remote sensing *** order to achieve this goal,the secured energy efficiency performance is theoretically analyzed with respect to the number of the passive reflection elements by calculating the instantaneous performance over the channel fading *** on this theoretical result,the secured access is formulated as a mathematical optimization problem by adjusting the sensor uploading power as the unknown variables with the objective of the energy efficiency maximization while satisfying any required maximum data rate of the eavesdropper ***,the analytical expression is theoretically derived for the optimum uploading *** simulations verify the design approach.
