In the process of accuracy measurement of multi-projectile intersection target, aiming at the problem of multi-projectile target matching on two imaging planes of linear CCD(Charge Coupled Device), a Time-Dimension ICP(iterative closest point) iterative optimization data association algorithm is designed, and a data association decision algorithm based on D-S(Dempster-Shafer evidence theory) evidence reasoning is proposed. By analyzing the correlation error of multi-projectile target matching, the measure function of ICP iteration optimization is given. According to the basic principle of D-S evidential reasoning and the constraint relationship between two imaging surfaces of a multi-projectile online array camera, the design method of the basic probability assignment function of the number of data association, the mean value of absolute error and the consistency of error are given. According to D-S combination probability distribution, different data association results are reasoned and decided. By designing the distance error function from the point to the polar line, the method is extended to the area array high-speed photographic intersection measurement system. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can make effective judgments and give reliable data association results when the projectile data is missing, the projectile data is noisy and the projectile catches up. The liquid accumulation in long distance coal-bed-methane gathering and transportation pipeline will hinder the effective gas transport and accelerate pipeline corrosion. Liquid level measurement techniques, which are a crucial step to overcome these liquid-accumulation-related problems, are mostly either invasive or inaccurate due to the fluctuation of liquid phase. Concerning the limitation of the traditional level measurement technique, a clamp-on liquid level measurement method using ultrasonic Lamb waves is proposed. According to the dispersion curve in the circular pipe, the optimum operating mode and excitation parameters are determined. During experiments, the nonlinear relationship between vertical pipeline liquid level and Lamb wave amplitude is obtained. Meanwhile, the ability of identifying liquid level changes is improved by the algorithm of denoising and filtering the received signal. Based on the results, the proposed measurement can be used for liquid level measurement and provides a potential of flow condition measurement of gathering lines.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is a technology with great promise, which is widely used in wireless networks to improve the coverage and enhance the performance. However, security concerns pose a major challenge for wireless networks, especially given inevitable errors in channel estimation. This paper proposes a high spectrum efficiency security scheme using generalized spatial modulation (GSM) and space-time block coding (STBC) for scenarios with imperfect channel state information (CSI). In this scheme, GSM uses RIS block indices as unique identifiers, ideal for secure scenarios. It operates by activating different RIS blocks over two time slots to reflect unmodulated carrier signals, while STBC is designed based on the phase shifts of the RIS. To ensure secure communication, a low-complexity continuous artificial noise (CAN) is transmitted with STBC signals to interfere with eavesdroppers and prevent them from decoding the signals. The ergodic secrecy rate is deduced, and the bit error rate (BER) is validated through experiments. The simulation results indicate that the proposed solution can remarkably improves the security performance of the RIS-assisted wireless communication systems. © 1967-2012 IEEE.

In the distributed secondary control of DC microgrids, achieving both rapid convergence and robust information security is critical for enhancing control performance and maintaining power quality. However, current privacy-preserving approaches often compromise either control performance or privacy preservation performance. To address this challenge, this paper presents a node-decomposition privacy-preserving (NDPP) method for fully distributed, finite-time secondary control in DC microgrids. By splitting each node in the communication graph into multiple sub-nodes, the method enhances both convergence speed and privacy preservation without sacrificing control accuracy. Sub-nodes communicate within groups, and the topology of the generated graph is concealed from malicious nodes and eavesdroppers. Theoretical analysis is provided to prove finite-time voltage regulation and current sharing with privacy preservation against malicious nodes and external eavesdroppers. Simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the method in maintaining control performance and power quality. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

The Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Conductor (OPPC) cable is a special type of power optical cable that combines overhead conductor and communication capabilities. It has advantages such as strong wind resistance, good corrosion resistance, high bandwidth transmission, low loss transmission, and high reliability. However, as the OPPC cable operates for a long time power transmission, its long-term working temperature has a significant impact on transmission performance and lifespan. Therefore, monitoring the temperature of the OPPC cable and internal fibers can improve the transmission capacity of the line, ensure good thermal stability, and provide important references for fault warning and maintenance. This study aims to explore the temperature characteristics of the OPPC cable through actual monitoring and analysis, providing guidance and decision-making basis for practical applications.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) and ambient backscatter communication (AmBC) have been envisioned as two promising technologies due to their high transmission reliability as well as energy-efficiency. This paper investigates the secrecy performance of RIS assisted AmBC networks. New closed-form and asymptotic expressions of secrecy outage probability for RIS-AmBC networks are derived by taking into account both imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC) and perfect SIC (pSIC) cases. On top of these, the secrecy diversity order of legitimate user is obtained in high signal-to-noise ratio region, which equals zero and is proportional to the number of RIS elements for ipSIC and pSIC, respectively. The secrecy throughput and energy efficiency are further surveyed to evaluate the secure effectiveness of RIS-AmBC networks. Numerical results are provided to verify the accuracy of theoretical analyses and manifest that: i) The secrecy outage behavior of RIS-AmBC networks exceeds that of conventional AmBC networks;ii) Due to the mutual interference between direct and backscattering links, the number of RIS elements has an optimal value to minimise the secrecy system outage probability;and iii) Secrecy throughput and energy efficiency are strongly influenced by the reflecting coefficient and eavesdropper’s wiretapping ability. Infrared Traffic Object Detection Network for Edge Device Deployment

Objective The rapid advancement of intelligent transportation systems has increased the demand for precise and swift traffic object detection capabilities, particularly under challenging low-light conditions and complex backgrounds. Infrared (IR) imaging technology has emerged as a critical tool for such scenarios due to its ability to capture heat signatures, thus enabling reliable detection even in darkness or through obscurants. However, traditional IR detection methods are often hindered by high computational complexity, large parameter sizes, and dependency on high-performance computing resources, which makes them unsuitable for deployment on resource-limited mobile devices. We introduce the Edge-DETR network, specifically designed for the efficient and accurate detection of traffic objects in IR imagery on edge devices. Methods The Edge-DETR network is an innovative detection framework that builds upon the RT-DETR model with several enhancements. It incorporates a context anchor attention multistage efficient layer aggregation network (CAA-MELAN) to adaptively extract multi-scale features and understand global dependencies, thereby addressing the challenges posed by varying object sizes and environmental dynamics. Additionally, a global information supplement module (GISM) is employed for effective feature downsampling, which ensures the preservation of essential spatial information while reducing computational load. The cross-level feature fusion module (CFFM) facilitates interaction among features at different scales, enhancing the network’s capability to integrate high-level semantic information with low-level spatial details. The HiLo attention mechanism is introduced to optimize intra-scale feature interaction, with a focus on target contours while minimizing parameter and computational requirements. To address the issue of clutter interference in ground-penetrating radar (GPR) imaging using a VNA (Vector Network Analyzer), this paper improves the traditional reverse time migration (RTM) technique for ultra-wideband GPR imaging. The improved method retains the effective signals in the detection wavefield as the valid imaging area and suppresses signals in non-valid areas. Due to variations in the distance between the transmitting and receiving antennas and the number of anomalies in the experiment, the traditional time window cross-correlation is not ideal for this scenario. The improved method automatically applies reasonable windowing to each data channel, avoiding the simultaneous enhancement of clutter interference and effective signals through direct stacking, and preventing the filtering out of effective signals. Experimental results demonstrate that this method, when applied to real measured data and compared with the traditional cross-correlation RTM method, shows advantages in more accurately locating anomalous areas and suppressing clutter interference. This validates that the Multiple Time-Gating Reverse Time Migration (MTG-RTM) method offers better localization and higher imaging accuracy in practical engineering applications.

Breather dynamics in an optomechanical array with staggered coupling

We present an approach toward generating highly controllable breathers, using an array of staggered optomechanical cavities that feature alternating coupling strengths. Four different types of breather states as well as stable two-soliton states are demonstrated to form in such an optomechanical array, thanks to the interplay between the photon-hopping induced tunneling effect and the photon-phonon coupling in the optomechanical cell. It is seen that both their photonic and phononic wave components manifest quasi-periodic oscillatory patterns and coherent localization. We unveil that such breather dynamics can be well controlled by adjusting the coupling strength, the cavity field decay, and the number of array cells. As a result, we observe an unusual odd-even lattice effect in that stable breathers are only available when the cell number is even. We anticipate that these findings from the staggered optomechanical configuration may expand the realm of cavity optomechanics, yielding promising applications such as on-chip manipulation of light propagation.

The triangular arrangement of cables has the advantages of good magnetic field balance and compact structure, making it a commonly used arrangement in tunnel power cable lines. Accurate measurement of its current helps to make accurate judgment of the line operation status. However, the tunnel transmission method involves a complex line arrangement in a small space. Therefore, non-contact wide-range current measurement based on magnetic sensors is a better solution. In the face of uncertain magnetic interference in transmission tunnels, the use of magnetic shielding can suppress its effect on magnetic sensors. In this paper, an M-shaped magnetic shield structure is proposed for current measurement in a triangular arrangement with strong magnetic interference at random locations. Then, the thickness, position, axial length, gap width and location of the sensing areas of the structure were investigated. The effectiveness of the structure was verified by finite element analysis methods for measured currents of 200 to 2000 A. The structure was also validated by the finite element analysis method. The mean shielding uncertainty (MSU) of the shielding structure is verified to be 0.19% under the uncertainty of strong magnetic interference for a measured current of 2000 A. The M-shaped shielding structure is more resistant to interference than the C-shaped shielding structure and fits better into the triangular arrangement of the cable geometry.
