Tolerance sensitivity limits the practical application of the cross-eye *** literature has demonstrated that retrodirective cross-eye jamming with multiple antenna elements possesses the advantage of loose tolerance requirements compared to traditional cross-eye ***,the previous analysis was limited,because there are still some factors affecting the parameter tolerance of the multiple-element retrodirective cross-eye jamming(MRCJ)system and they have not been investigated completely,such as the loop difference,the baseline ratio and the jammer-to-signal *** paper performs a comprehensive tolerance analysis of the MRCJ system with a nonuniformspacing linear *** results demonstrate the tolerance effects of the above influence factors and give reasonable advice for easing tolerance sensitivity.

A color image encryption scheme is proposed, which employs the interferenceless coded aperture correlation holography (I-COACH) system in conjunction with polarization encoding. This method encrypts all three channels of an RGB image into a single ciphertext, effectively reducing the correlation between channels and improving the efficiency of encryption. By leveraging the inherent advantages of the I-COACH system, particularly its high-dimensional signal processing capabilities and incorporation of polarization information, this innovative approach simplifies the encryption process while demonstrating superior performance in terms of encryption feasibility, security, and robustness. Ultimately, it provides an efficient and highly secure means for transmitting color images. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the information evaluation of traffic infrastructure in-service roadside slope risk assessment,the method of risk assessment for highway slope engineering is proposed by using the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,and a new risk assessment method is proposed and *** system,in order to prevent the risks in slope engineering,serves the scientific decision-making of the maintenance,operation and management of the in-service road *** on the analysis of the special geological conditions,complex surrounding environment and construction schemes of existing highway slopes in China,this paper establishes an in-service slope evaluation model for in-service roads,and designs the scheme diagram of the in-service road slope evaluation system based on the networked Internet ***,a set of in-service roadside slope risk assessment system software,the system component block diagram and the main design interface are *** system can meet the needs of comprehensive evaluation of multi-factors in service road slopes.

As a subsystem of society, higher education is an inevitable choice to meet the political and economic development of a country. Research of the higher education evaluation system is of great significance to the development of society. In this paper, a backpropagation(BP) neural network model is established to predict the future development scale of higher education. The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method and partial least squares regression(PLS) structural equations were used to verify the scientificity and feasibility of the model. BP neural network has strong nonlinear mapping capabilities, and it is capable of the prognostics. It performed well on issues with more complicated internal mechanisms. Through experimental simulations, it is found that the BP neural network model has a good fit when making predictions and the relative error is less than3%, which shows that the prediction results obtained with this model have high reliability.

Manual visual inspection for defect detection in manufacturing can lead to high false positive rates. This paper compares data mining techniques for the binary classification of defects in flat products in a relatively open scenario. The background provides context on research into data mining-based detection. The methodology is divided into five sections: data collection, selection, preprocessing and transformation, classification, and model evaluation. Each section details the techniques applied, tailored to the application context, with specifying examples. Experiments apply real-world data sets self-collected from production lines. Statistics like prediction accuracy are generated by established data mining evaluation algorithms. Results indicate the efficacy of data mining for automated defect detection over manual approaches. Finally, conclusions summarize findings and discuss the limitations of the current research and planned future work to address the drawbacks. Overall, the formalized methodology and supportive experimental results demonstrate both the viability and potential areas of improvement for data mining in manufacturing quality control. © 2025, The Authors. In light of the pressing need to reduce carbon emissions, the biomass power generation industry has gained significant attention and has increasingly become a crucial focus in China. However, there are still considerable gaps in the historical background, status, and prospects of biomass power generation. Herein, the historical and current status of biomass power generation in China are systematically reviewed, with a particular emphasis on supportive policies, environmental impacts, and future projections. By 2022, the newly installed capacity for biomass power generation reached 3.34 MW with a total installed capacity of 41 MW. The power produced from biomass power generation is 182.4 billion kWh in China. The total installed capacity and generated power in 2022 were 1652 and 1139 folds higher than in 2006 when the first biomass generation plant was established. However, disparities in the distribution of biomass resources and power generation were observed. Key drivers of the industry development include tax, finance, and subsidy policies. Under the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan for renewable energy development and the goal of carbon neutrality, biomass power generation may achieve great success through more targeted policy support and advanced technologies that reduce air pollutant emissions. If combined with Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) technology, biomass power generation will make its contribution to carbon neutrality in China. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.

The terahertz radar system can realize accurate detection, high-resolution imaging, and feature recognition of targets due to its small size, lightweight, and high resolution. Based on this special-shaped terahertz frequency-modulated continuous-wave radar, this paper studies the slope control of the transmitter and the local oscillator signal source and the change rule of the difference frequency signal and the effective acquisition interval. A short-time Fourier transform is used to simulate and verify the effective acquisition interval of the received intermediate frequency signal. It can be seen from the experimental results that under the special-shaped structure, controlling the FM continuous-wave slope at the transmitting and receiving ends can obtain the desired frequency-varying frequency signal, which can verify the correctness of the theoretical derivation.

LoRa networks operating in a star topology, this configuration creates a single point of failure and may limit scalability and reliability in areas that are large and geographically dispersed. In order to improve the overall transmission capabilities of the network, recent studies show that adding LoRa to the ZigBee devices effectively disseminates network management. By doing so, the strengths of both technologies can be leveraged, with LoRa serving as the long-range transmitter and ZigBee functioning as the mesh network. In this study, we present LoBee, a novel bidirectional communication method between LoRa and ZigBee that relies on Physical-Layer Cross-technology communication. Despite the fact that LoRa and ZigBee utilize different modulation techniques, ZigBee devices can detect and recognize LoRa chirps through the process of sampling the received signal strength. For the transmissions from ZigBee to LoRa devices, we carefully select the input chips to generate specific waveforms, where LoBee detects the preamble of a ZigBee frame based on the locations of the repeated peaks. Our evaluation, which was conducted using USRP and commodity devices, demonstrates that LoBee is capable of achieving concurrent bidirectional wireless communications, with a data rate of approximately 639.38 bits per second from LoRa to ZigBee and from ZigBee to LoRa with more than 90% frame reception rate in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

A novel CaLaNbWO8 (CLNWO) ceramic was prepared using traditional solid-state methods. The CLNWO ceramics that were sintered at 1440°C displayed noteworthy dielectric properties, with Εr = 11.18, Q×f = 32,998 GHz, and τf = −8.1 ppm/°C. The trends in Εr and Q×f were indirectly reflected through the Raman shift and FWHM in Raman spectroscopy. Through bond valence analysis, it was determined that Ca2+ and La3+ have significant compression effects in CLNWO ceramics, and the αc was less than αtheo. This discrepancy resulted in the Εr of CLNWO ceramics being less than Εtheo. According to Phillips-Vechten-Levine (P-V-L) theory, the W-O bond primarily determined τf, and Q×f, whereas Εr was noticeably influenced by the La-O bond. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Coverage Optimization of Camera Network for Continuous Deformable Object

In this paper, a deformable object is considered for cameras deployment with the aim of visual coverage. The object contour is discretized into sampled points as meshes, and the deformation is represented as continuous trajectories for the sampled points. To reduce the computational complexity, some feature points are carefully selected representing the continuous deformation process, and the visual coverage for the deformable object is transferred to cover the specific feature points. In particular, the vertexes of a rectangle that can contain the entire deformation trajectory of every sampled point on the object contour are chosen as the feature points. An improved wolf pack algorithm is then proposed to solve the optimization problem. Finally, simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed deployment method of camera network. © 2022, CC BY-NC-SA.
