The development of space-air-ground integrated networks (SAGIN) requires sophisticated satellite Internet emulation tools that can handle complex, dynamic topologies and offer in-depth analysis. Existing emulation platforms struggle with challenges like the need for detailed implementation across all network layers, real-time response, and scalability. This paper proposes a digital twin system based on microservices for satellite Internet emulation,namely Plotinus,which aims to solve these problems. Plotinus features a modular design, allowing for easy replacement of the physical layer to emulate different aerial vehicles and analyze channel interference. It also enables replacing of path computation methods to simplify testing and deploying algorithms. In particular, Plotinus allows for real-time emulation with live network traffic,enhancing practical network models. The evaluation result shows Plotinus’s effective emulation of dynamic satellite networks with real-world devices. Its adaptability for various communication models and algorithm testing highlights Plotinus’s role as a vital tool for developing and analyzing SAGIN systems, offering a cross-layer,real-time,and scalable digital twin system.

The current large-scale Internet of Things(IoT)networks typically generate high-velocity network traffic *** use IoT devices to create botnets and launch attacks,such as DDoS,Spamming,Cryptocurrency mining,Phishing,*** service providers of large-scale IoT networks need to set up a data pipeline to collect the vast network traffic data from the IoT devices,store it,analyze it,and report the malicious IoT devices and types of ***,the attacks originating from IoT devices are dynamic,as attackers launch one kind of attack at one time and another kind of attack at another *** number of attacks and benign instances also vary from time to *** phenomenon of change in attack patterns is called concept ***,the attack detection system must learn continuously from the ever-changing real-time attack patterns in large-scale IoT network *** meet this requirement,in this work,we propose a data pipeline with Apache Kafka,Apache Spark structured streaming,and MongoDB that can adapt to the ever-changing attack patterns in real time and classify attacks in large-scale IoT *** concept drift is detected,the proposed system retrains the classifier with the instances that cause the drift and a representative subsample instances from the previous training of the *** proposed approach is evaluated with the latest dataset,IoT23,which consists of benign and several attack instances from various IoT *** classification accuracy is improved from 97.8%to 99.46%by the proposed *** training time of distributed random forest algorithm is also studied by varying the number of cores in Apache Spark environment.

RE-SEGNN:recurrent semantic evidence-aware graph neural network for temporal knowledge graph forecasting

Temporal knowledge graph(TKG) reasoning, has seen widespread use for modeling real-world events, particularly in extrapolation settings. Nevertheless, most previous studies are embedded models, which require both entity and relation embedding to make predictions, ignoring the semantic correlations among different entities and relations within the same timestamp. This can lead to random and nonsensical predictions when unseen entities or relations occur. Furthermore, many existing models exhibit limitations in handling highly correlated historical facts with extensive temporal depth. They often either overlook such facts or overly accentuate the relationships between recurring past occurrences and their current counterparts. Due to the dynamic nature of TKG, effectively capturing the evolving semantics between different timestamps can be *** address these shortcomings, we propose the recurrent semantic evidenceaware graph neural network(RE-SEGNN), a novel graph neural network that can learn the semantics of entities and relations simultaneously. For the former challenge, our model can predict a possible answer to missing quadruples based on semantics when facing unseen entities or relations. For the latter problem, based on an obvious established force, both the recency and frequency of semantic history tend to confer a higher reference value for the current. We use the Hawkes process to compute the semantic trend, which allows the semantics of recent facts to gain more attention than those of distant facts. Experimental results show that RE-SEGNN outperforms all SOTA models in entity prediction on 6 widely used datasets, and 5 datasets in relation prediction. Furthermore, the case study shows how our model can deal with unseen entities and relations.

A Review of Intelligent Configuration and Its Security for Complex Networks

Complex networks are becoming more complex because of the use of many components with diverse technologies. In fact, manual configuration that makes each component interoperable has breed latent danger to system security. There is still no comprehensive review of these studies and prospects for further research. According to the complexity of component configuration and difficulty of security assurance in typical complex networks, this paper systematically reviews the abstract models and formal analysis methods required for intelligent configuration of complex networks, specifically analyzes, and compares the current key technologies such as configuration semantic awareness, automatic generation of security configuration, dynamic deployment, and verification evaluation. These technologies can effectively improve the security of complex networks intelligent configuration and reduce the complexity of operation and maintenance. This paper also summarizes the mainstream construction methods of complex networks configuration and its security test environment and detection index system, which lays a theoretical foundation for the formation of the comprehensive effectiveness verification capability of configuration security. The whole lifecycle management system of configuration security process proposed in this paper provides an important technical reference for reducing the complexity of network operation and maintenance and improving network security.

Solar flares are one of the strongest outbursts of solar activity,posing a serious threat to Earth’s critical infrastructure,such as communications,navigation,power,and ***,it is essential to accurately predict solar flares in order to ensure the safety of human ***,the research focuses on two directions:first,identifying predictors with more physical information and higher prediction accuracy,and second,building flare prediction models that can effectively handle complex observational *** terms of flare observability and predictability,this paper analyses multiple dimensions of solar flare observability and evaluates the potential of observational parameters in *** flare prediction models,the paper focuses on data-driven models and physical models,with an emphasis on the advantages of deep learning techniques in dealing with complex and high-dimensional *** reviewing existing traditional machine learning,deep learning,and fusion methods,the key roles of these techniques in improving prediction accuracy and efficiency are *** prevailing challenges,this study discusses the main challenges currently faced in solar flare prediction,such as the complexity of flare samples,the multimodality of observational data,and the interpretability of *** conclusion summarizes these findings and proposes future research directions and potential technology advancement.

Music genre classification using convolution temporal pooling network

Music genre classification is one of the most interesting topics in digital music. Classifying genres is basically subjective, and different listeners may perceive genres in various ways. Furthermore, it might be difficult to classify some songs accurately since they belong to numerous genres. Genres are incredibly wide and ill-defined categories, which makes them problematic. Thus, genre-based measures are inherently inaccurate and coarse. Moreover, not every piece of music cleanly fits into a particular genre. Many papers based on deep neural networks perform sound recognition and classification with input images of audio, which do not affect the time–frequency representation of a signal. The traditional method adds waveform augmentation to the audio signal, thereby increasing the network's training speed. This paper considers music genre classification with the convolution temporal pooling framework and explores the impact of adding the SpecAugment method to augment the spectrogram itself. The augmented spectrogram is then fed into a convolutional temporal pooling network. In this model, the temporal and pooling layers identify the genre pattern and classify the songs based on the genre. It also predicts these duplication that will occur in the given sample. We apply this model to the GTZAN dataset, a widely used dataset for music genre classification. This method improves the identification of Rock and Pop song and also eliminates the replication of the songs. CHANN:A Hierarchical Neural Network for Clone Consistency Prediction

Modifying a code segment may give rise to a consistency issue when the code segment belongs to a clone group comprising closely similar code *** studies have demonstrated that such consistent changes can incur extra maintenance costs when clones are checked for consistency and introduce defects if developers forget to change clones consistently when *** address this problem,researchers have proposed an approach to predict clone consistency in advance with handcrafted attributes,notably using machine learning *** these attributes can help predict clone consistency to some extent,the capability of such an approach is generally weak and unsatisfactory in *** limitations in capability are especially severe at a project's infancy stage when there is not sufficient within-project data to model clone consistency behavior,and cross-project data have not been helpful in supporting *** this paper,we propose the Clone Hierarchical Attention Neural Network(CHANN)to represent code clones and their evolution by adopting a hierarchical perspective of code,context,and code evolution,and thus enhancing the effectiveness of clone con-sistency *** assess the effectiveness of CHANN,we conduct experiments on the dataset collected from eight open-source *** experimental results show that CHANN is highly effective in predicting clone consistency,and the precision,recall,and F-measure attained in prediction are around 82％.These findings support our hypothesis that the hierarchical neural network can help developers predict clone consistency effectively in the case of cross-project incubation when insufficient data are available at the early stage of software development.

Increasingly, programs are focusing on addressing the emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Data Science. Australian CS graduates should be in demand in a growing, and increasingly digitized economy. Greater focus on application with industry tools and frameworks, exposure to other disciplines and ways of working, recognition of diversity and development of non-technical competency areas of working may be the best avenues to enhance the capabilities and career prospects of CS graduates. There are challenges in developing more diverse graduates, in funding more effective learning environments, and in building awareness of CS in the community, particularly those that influence the choices of potential students.
