Salp Swarm Incorporated Adaptive Dwarf Mongoose Optimizer with Lévy Flight and Gbest-Guided Strategy

In response to the shortcomings of Dwarf Mongoose Optimization(DMO)algorithm,such as insufficient exploitation capability and slow convergence speed,this paper proposes a multi-strategy enhanced DMO,referred to as ***,we propose an improved solution search equation that utilizes the Gbest-guided strategy with different parameters to achieve a trade-off between exploration and exploitation(EE).Secondly,the Lévy flight is introduced to increase the diversity of population distribution and avoid the algorithm getting stuck in a local *** addition,in order to address the problem of low convergence efficiency of DMO,this study uses the strong nonlinear convergence factor Sigmaid function as the moving step size parameter of the mongoose during collective activities,and combines the strategy of the salp swarm leader with the mongoose for cooperative optimization,which enhances the search efficiency of agents and accelerating the convergence of the algorithm to the global optimal solution(Gbest).Subsequently,the superiority of GLSDMO is verified on CEC2017 and CEC2019,and the optimization effect of GLSDMO is analyzed in *** results show that GLSDMO is significantly superior to the compared algorithms in solution quality,robustness and global convergence rate on most test ***,the optimization performance of GLSDMO is verified on three classic engineering examples and one truss topology optimization *** simulation results show that GLSDMO achieves optimal costs on these real-world engineering problems.

Faithful geometric measures for genuine tripartite entanglement

We present a faithful geometric picture for genuine tripartite entanglement of discrete, continuous, and hybrid quantum systems. We first find that the triangle relation Ei|jkα≤Ej|ikα+Ek|ijα holds for all subadditive bipartite entanglement measure E, all permutations under parties i,j,k, all α∈[0,1], and all pure tripartite states. Then, we rigorously prove that the nonobtuse triangle area, enclosed by side Eα with 0<α≤1/2, is a measure for genuine tripartite entanglement. Finally, it is significantly strengthened for qubits that given a set of subadditive and nonsubadditive measures, some state is always found to violate the triangle relation for any α>1, and the triangle area is not a measure for any α>1/2. Our results pave the way to study discrete and continuous multipartite entanglement within a unified framework.

Malware distributors use persistence mechanisms in their malware to keep a PC infected for a long time. Techniques such as packing and obfuscation are often used so that the presence of malware cannot be determined by the simple executable code of the program. Static analysis of executable code, structures, and strings cannot determine obfuscated and packed malware. Therefore, dynamic analysis is required to determine the malicious behavior imposed on the system. In this paper, we used the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) model, which preprocessed static data and dynamic data and combined them into an ensemble model to determine malicious and benign and achieved an accuracy of 97.68%, F1-Score of 97.67%, and false positive rate of 1.57%. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

In this paper, we propose a hybrid model structure combining CNN-LSTM and Fully Connected to improve the prediction of electric vehicle charging station occupancy efficiently. We conducted experiments on UK and Korean datasets to evaluate the proposed model's learning efficiency and prediction accuracy compared to existing models. As a result, no loss in prediction accuracy was observed in both datasets, and our model achieved an average learning speed of approximately 1.61 times faster than the existing model on the UK dataset, and approximately 1.46 times faster than the Korean dataset. Notably, for charging stations with the largest differences, the UK dataset demonstrated a 2.04 times improvement in the view of learning speed, whereas the Korean dataset demonstrated a 1.84 times improvement. This proposed process allows for dimensionality reduction and feature extraction, ensuring only critical data is utilized in the LSTM model. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

This paper presents an efficient enhanced snake optimizer termed BEESO for global optimization and engineering *** a newly mooted meta-heuristic algorithm,snake optimizer(SO)mathematically models the mating characteristics of snakes to find the optimal *** has a simple structure and offers a delicate balance between exploitation and ***,it also has some shortcomings to be *** proposed BEESO consequently aims to lighten the issues of lack of population diversity,convergence slowness,and the tendency to be stuck in local optima in *** presentation of Bi-Directional Search(BDS)is to approach the global optimal value along the direction guided by the best and the worst individuals,which makes the convergence speed *** increase in population diversity in BEESO benefits from Modified Evolutionary Population Dynamics(MEPD),and the replacement of poorer quality individuals improves population *** Elite Opposition-Based Learning(EOBL)provides improved local exploitation ability of BEESO by utilizing solid solutions with good *** performance of BEESO is illustrated by comparing its experimental results with several algorithms on benchmark functions and engineering ***,the results of the experiment are analyzed again from a statistical point of view using the Friedman and Wilcoxon rank sum *** findings show that these introduced strategies provide some improvements in the performance of SO,and the accuracy and stability of the optimization results provided by the proposed BEESO are competitive among all *** conclude,the proposed BEESO offers a good alternative to solving optimization issues.

Paradoxical roles of inhibitory autapse and excitatory synapse in formation of counterintuitive anticipated synchronization

Different from the common delayed synchronization(DS)in which response appears after stimulation,anticipated synchronization(AS)in unidirectionally coupled neurons denotes a counterintuitive phenomenon in which response of the receiver neuron appears before stimulation of the sender neuron,showing an interesting function of brain to anticipate the *** dynamical mechanism for the AS remains unclear due to complex dynamics of inhibitory and excitatory *** this article,the paradoxical roles of excitatory synapse and inhibitory autapse in the formation of AS are ***,in addition to the common roles such that inhibitory modulation delays and excitatory modulation advances spike,paradoxical roles of excitatory stimulation to delay spike via type-II phase response and of inhibitory autapse to advance spike are obtained in suitable parameter regions,extending the dynamics and functions of the excitatory and inhibitory ***,AS is related to the paradoxical roles of the excitatory and inhibitory modulations,presenting deep understandings to the *** autapse induces spike of the receiver neuron advanced to appear before that of the sender neuron at first,and then excitatory synapse plays a delay role to prevent the spike further advanced,resulting in the AS as the advance and delay effects realize a dynamic ***,inhibitory autapse with strong advance,middle advance,and weak advance and delay effects induce phase drift(spike of the receiver neuron advances continuously),AS,and DS,respectively,presenting comprehensive relationships between AS and other *** results present potential measures to modulate AS related to brain function.

The Fiat-Shamir with Aborts paradigm of Lyubashevsky introduced efficient lattice based signatures. We have used lattice based signature to design post quantum blockchain design. But the blockchain is always consisting of many nodes depending upon participants, then we require an efficient aggregate signature technique to verify nodes efficiently. We have designed a blockchain using fast post quntum secure tool called module lattices. Module lattices provide both security and efficiency based on two assumptions, (1) Module Learning With Errors, and (2) Module Short Integer Solution respectively. The proposed blockchain design ensures security of Internet of Things devices against quantum attacks. The design provides a better secure environment for Internet of Things. Blockchain technology has been used to combine fixed number of IoT nodes. This makes the communication efficient, and the aggregate signature has been used to provide the security to the given architecture. © 2024 The Author(s).

Representing natural language information is a key challenge in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science, requiring the transformation of unstructured data into formats suitable for computational tasks. While logical formalisms offer robust methods for information representation, their complexity often limits widespread adoption. Conversely, transformer architectures provide strong generalization capabilities but struggle with logical inference tasks. To address both the need for generalization and reliable logical inference, we propose a novel approach using deep reinforcement learning, enabling agents to autonomously learn the rules of semantic parsing. Our preliminary results indicate successful generation of appropriate representations for simple queries. Future work will extend the environment to handle a wider range of real-world sentences. © 2024 IEEE.

A semi-analytical finite element method(SAFEM),based on the two-scale asymptotic homogenization method(AHM)and the finite element method(FEM),is implemented to obtain the effective properties of two-phase fiber-reinforced composites(FRCs).The fibers are periodically distributed and unidirectionally aligned in a homogeneous *** framework addresses the static linear elastic micropolar problem through partial differential equations,subject to boundary conditions and perfect interface contact *** mathematical formulation of the local problems and the effective coefficients are presented by the *** local problems obtained from the AHM are solved by the FEM,which is denoted as the *** numerical results are provided,and the accuracy of the solutions is analyzed,indicating that the formulas and results obtained with the SAFEM may serve as the reference points for validating the outcomes of experimental and numerical computations.

Cluster-preserving sampling algorithm for large-scale graphs

Graph sampling is a very effective method to deal with scalability issues when analyzing largescale graphs. Lots of sampling algorithms have been proposed, and sampling qualities have been quantified using explicit properties(e.g., degree distribution) of the sample. However, the existing sampling techniques are inadequate for the current sampling task: sampling the clustering structure, which is a crucial property of the current networks. In this paper, using different expansion strategies, two novel top-leader sampling methods(i.e., TLS-e and TLS-i) are proposed to obtain representative samples, and they are capable of effectively preserving the clustering structure. The rationale behind them is to select top-leader nodes of most clusters into the sample and then heuristically incorporate peripheral nodes into the sample using specific expansion strategies. Extensive experiments are conducted to investigate how well sampling techniques preserve the clustering structure of graphs. Our empirical results show that the proposed sampling algorithms can preserve the population's clustering structure well and provide feasible solutions to sample the clustering structure from large-scale graphs.
