The rapid evolution in the technology industry highlights the importance of developing a more advanced asset tracking system. The need for efficient and accurate asset management has become crucial and predominant across various industries. This paper displays the utilization of low-cost, and energy efficient technologies like Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 and Arduino Uno in designing and implementation of an asset tracking system. The design of the system primarily focuses on providing real time location of an asset, improving its tracking accuracy and operational efficiency. This study practically demonstrates the use of inexpensive microcontroller platforms along with BLE technology so as to develop an asset tracking system, the scalable solution that can be implemented across various industries such as logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing. © 2025 IEEE.

This study proposes a maintaining a quadrotor’s attitude system using a ‘moment disturbance observer’ aimed at enhancing stability. In recent years, quadrotors have become increasingly prevalent in sectors such as agriculture, surveying, logistics, aerial photography, infrastructure inspection, and security. However, with their growing, there have been concerns about potential physical and human harm stemming from accidents. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism has reported accidents attributed to challenging maneuvering conditions that have resulted in crashes. This study aims to develop a quadrotor that can maintain a stable attitude during sudden and significant alterations in its orientation. We suggest employing a moment disturbance observer to estimate the necessary moments for stable attitude maintenance. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed method surpasses traditional PID control in terms of attitude stabilization. Furthermore, this method resulted in superior attitude stability in single-axis experiments with a mechanically constrained quadrotor compared to conventional PID control methods. © 2024 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

In the burgeoning landscape of the Internet of Things (IoT), ensuring the integrity and security of embedded devices is paramount. With the increasing frequency of cyberattacks targeting these typically low-powered devices, there is an urgent need for improved defensive infrastructure. Traditional malware detection methods such as signature-based, heuristic-based, and specification-based techniques are hampered by limitations in scanning speed, microprocessor capabilities, and energy efficiency. These classical approaches encompassing static, dynamic, and hybrid analyses struggle to keep pace with the demands of modern resource-constrained IoT devices. Addressing these challenges, this article introduces 'Quantum Guard,' a trans-formative quantum-based malware detection framework that utilizes a hybrid approach. Here, the IoT device handles initial data probing by inspecting potential threats, while the quantum processor runs Grover's algorithm with a quantum oracle for intensive search tasks to accurately identify and mark specific malware classes. This innovative approach significantly enhances the speed and efficiency of malware detection across diverse types by employing quantum superposition to enable simultaneous scanning of multiple memory locations. The integration of a quantum oracle facilitates precise targeting of malware signatures, while the amplitude amplification algorithm improves the probability of detecting and accurately classifying signatures within unstructured datasets. Performance analysis shows that 'Quantum Guard' significantly outperforms traditional methods, offering a scalable and efficient solution with a space complexity of O(log N) and a time complexity of O(VN). A respiratory infection like pneumonia faces a serious health challenge across the globe, especially in the poor and underdeveloped countries. The pneumonia is affected by various factors like bacteria or viruses. The reason for the affection is due to higher level of pollution, poor air quality, excess of population, poor infrastructure etc. To reduce the threat from pneumonia, there is a need for early and accurate detection of the infection by using chest X-ray images as the most effective diagnostic method. The paper proposes an automated chest X-ray analysis system by using VGG16 architecture and a weighted average ensemble method to enhance diagnostic accuracy. By integrating deep transfer learning, the system overcomes data scarcity issues, achieving a remarkable 99% accuracy on a publicly available dataset. The research underscores the potential of automated systems in improving pneumonia diagnosis, highlighting the urgent need for advanced diagnostics in resource-limited settings. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper theoretically studies the axisymmetric frictionless indentation of a transversely isotropic piezoelectric semiconductor(PSC)half-space subject to a rigid flatended cylindrical *** contact area and other surface of the PSC half-space are assumed to be electrically *** the Hankel integral transformation,the problem is reduced to the Fredholm integral equation of the second *** equation is solved numerically to obtain the indentation behaviors of the PSC half-space,mainly including the indentation force-depth relation and the electric potential-depth *** results show that the effect of the semiconductor property on the indentation responses is limited within a certain range of variation of the steady carrier *** dependence of indentation behavior on material properties is also analyzed by two different kinds of *** element simulations are conducted to verify the results calculated by the integral equation technique,and good agreement is demonstrated.

Worldwide public health concerns include violence towards women as well as children. One in three women globally, according to estimates, has been the victim of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Like adults, one in two children experiences some type of violence every year, including bullying and domestic abuse. Women and children are increasingly more susceptible to additional forms of abuse including cyberbullying or emotional harassment because of the extensive use of the Internet and social media. In recent years, computer science and associated technologies have been used to assist address this societal issue. Solutions to identify and stop violence against women and children have been developed using cloud computing, pattern recognition, mobile computing, ubiquitous artificial intelligence, as well as associated systems. This study presents a comprehensive evaluation of some of the initiatives that might assist in addressing the issue of violence against children and women. The present state of these contributions is discussed in this study along with trends, designs, technologies, and open issues. A review of the scholarly literature from 2010 to 2020 was used to produce the survey. The contributions were categorized into four application domains: education, safety, offline detection, and online detection. Digital simulation, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence were employed as additional categories to further divide these contributions. © 2023 IEEE.

Multi-scale decomposition (MSD) has some problems, such as missing details and generating noise. This project aims to study multi-modal image based on texture decomposition model and using improved convolutional network and phase-shift consistency techniques. Aiming at the problem that MSD is easy to produce noise, low-pass filter optimization function and structure texture decomposition model are introduced to effectively solve the problem of decomposition technology. An adaptive filtering algorithm based on least square method is proposed, and the structure-texture analysis method based on image is combined to overcome the noise problem of traditional algorithms theoretically. Secondly, for structured texture, the fusion algorithm of convolutional neural network and Gaussian fairing is studied to enhance the effective acquisition of image details and remove noise. The phase-shift matching algorithm is used for high frequency band to achieve effective fusion of high frequency signals. Then the inversion is carried out to obtain the final composite image. The images are studied qualitatively and quantitatively from the perspectives of visual effect, mutual information, feature mutual information, structural similarity, information entropy, PSNR, etc. © 2024 IEEE.

Quantum cloud computing is a promising paradigm for efficiently provisioning quantum resources (i.e., qubits) to users. In quantum cloud computing, quantum cloud providers provision quantum resources in reservation and on-demand plans for users. Literally, the cost of quantum resources in the reservation plan is expected to be cheaper than the cost of quantum resources in the on-demand plan. However, quantum resources in the reservation plan have to be reserved in advance without information about the requirement of quantum circuits beforehand, and consequently, the resources are insufficient, i.e., under-reservation. Hence, quantum resources in the on-demand plan can be used to compensate for the unsatisfied quantum resources required. To end this, we propose a quantum resource allocation for the quantum cloud computing system in which quantum resources and the minimum waiting time of quantum circuits are jointly optimized. Particularly, the objective is to minimize the total costs of quantum circuits under uncertainties regarding qubit requirement and minimum waiting time of quantum circuits. In experiments, practical circuits of quantum Fourier transform are applied to evaluate the proposed qubit resource allocation. The results illustrate that the proposed qubit resource allocation can achieve the optimal total costs. © 2023 IEEE.

This research introduces a new approach to radon detection in homes utilizing Decision Trees (DTs) enabled by the cloud in real-time. High radon levels, a natural radioactive gas, are dangerous to human health. Quick evaluation and mitigation efforts are hindered by the long processes required by traditional detection systems. Using DTs, a machine learning methodology, the proposed method sorts of radon levels according to variables, including building materials, ventilation systems, and geographic location. These trees may handle both numerical and categorical data and provide interpretability. Fast processing of massive data sets and real-time analysis across varied residential areas are made possible by integrating cloud computing, increasing efficiency and scalability. Stakeholders may remotely access crucial information due to the solution's accessibility and flexibility. Results from controlled experiments demonstrate that this method can accurately identify radon levels in the air in real time, allowing for preventative actions to lessen potential health hazards. People living in areas prone to radon may benefit from this practice in terms of their health. © 2024 IEEE.
