Analysis of converting -circuit into -circuit

A $\mathfrak{C^{*}}$ -circuit, which was proposed in Asiacypt 2022 by Huang and Sun (Advances in cryptology – ASIACRYPT 2022, pp. 614–644, 2022), can directly perform calculations with the existing quantum states, thereby reducing the use of quantum resources in quantum logic synthesis. We theoretically prove how to convert a $\mathfrak{C^{0}}$ -circuit into the corresponding $\mathfrak{C^{*}}$ -circuit through two lemmas and one theorem. The first lemma proves the interchangeability of CNOT gates and NOT gates by using the equivalence of quantum circuits. The second lemma proves that adding CNOT gates to the front of a quantum circuit whose initial states are all $|0\rangle $ s will not change the output states of the circuit. The theorem is used to describe what kind of $\mathfrak{C^{0}}$ -circuit can be transformed into $\mathfrak{C^{*}}$ -circuit, and the correctness of this transformation is proved. Our work will provide a theoretical basis for converting $\mathfrak{C^{0}}$ -circuit to $\mathfrak{C^{*}}$ -circuit. Then applying the theoretical analysis results to the multiplication over $\text{GF}(2^{8})$ , the constructed quantum circuit needs 27 Toffoli gates and 118 CNOT gates, which is 15 fewer Toffoli gates and 43 CNOT gates than the current best result. This shows that the method of constructing quantum circuits by using the conversion of $\mathfrak{C^{0}}$ -circuit to $\mathfrak{C^{*}}$ -circuit is very efficient.

The prognosis of breast cancer is challenging, which is an urgent problem to be solved. The prognostic biomarkers for breast cancer can help us predict the clinical outcomes of patients, and network-based methods are widely introduced to find prognostic biomarkers. According to the difference of input biological data, existing network-based biomarker prediction methods are mainly classified into two types: integrating single-source network or multi-source networks. However, the interactome of single-source network remains incomplete, and biological networks are noisy, which will hamper the network-based identification accuracy of biomarkers. In this study, we introduce a multi-source fusion method, DualMarker, which integrates multiple biological information sources and constructs a dual-layer heterogeneous network by fast network embedding. Next, we introduce a network enhancement method to denoise the constructed dual-layer heterogeneous network, and we implement network propagation algorithm on the constructed dual-layer heterogeneous network to rank the features. After comparing with competitive methods, we find that DualMarker substantially outperforms these methods. In addition, we verify that the biomarkers identified by DualMarker are closely related to the prognosis of breast cancer patients. © 2022 IEEE.

Gray code, a voltage-level-to-data-bit translation scheme, is widely used in QLC SSDs. However, it causes the four data bits in QLC to exhibit significantly different read and write performance with up to 8 × latency variation, severely impacting the worst-case performance of QLC SSDs. This paper presents BDP, a novel Bi-Directional Programming scheme. Based on a fixed Gray code, BDP combines both the normal (forward) and reverse programming directions to enable runtime programming direction arbitration. Experimental results show that BDP can effectively improve the read and write performance of SSD compared to representative schemes. © 2025 EDAA.

Technological intervention in the field of education has gained significant relevance, especially during the post-pandemic era. The three dimensions of interaction that influence learning are the student's interaction with the content, peers, and instructors. Learning ecosystems are expected to ensure these interactions in a seamless way. Technological interventions have provided us with provisions to establish the interactions. The data that we obtain while the student is interacting with content, peers, and instructors can serve as feedback to students and instructors. The motivation of the current study lies in the direction of investigating ‘what’ and ‘how’ current practices of establishing the interaction with content, peers, and instructor are influencing students' performance. The other dimension includes how demographic factors like gender influence the performance of students when technological interventions are *** sample considered in the study included 140 first-year engineering students in a private university. The outcome of the study helped to do early prediction of student failures and identification of factors that influences the student's success. The data for the study was collected from multiple modalities. Clickstream data was collected from a learning management system to understand the interaction of students with the course content. Student collaboration data was collected from GitHub to understand the interaction of students with peers. Demographic data was collected from student academic performance to understand how past performance and demographic factors influence future *** findings reveal that the student interaction with the content and the student performance have a positive relationship with a correlation coefficient of 0.68. Over the past 20 years, there has been a surge of diabetes cases in Iraq. Blood tests administered in the absence of professional medical judgment have allowed for the early detection of diabetes, which will fasten disease detection and lower medical costs. This work focuses on the use of a Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) neural network for diabetes classification in Iraq. Some medical tests and body features were used as classification features. The most relevant features were selected using the Binary Dragon Fly Algorithm (BDA) Binary version of the selection method because the features either selected or not. To reduce the number of features that are used in prediction,features without effects will be eliminated. This effects the classification accuracy, which is very important in both the computation time of the method and the cost of medical test that the individual will take during annual check *** work found out that among 11 features, only five features are most relevant to the disease. These features provide a classification accuracy up to 98% among three classes: diabetic, non diabetic and pre-diabetic. © 2023 the Author(s)

Image watermarking algorithms have developed rapidly in recent years. Most of the Deep Neural Network(DNN)-based image watermarking algorithms embed only 30 bits or 64 bits messages in 128 × 128 images, while few algorithms embed large capacity messages. This is mainly because embedding large capacity messages will significantly influence the performance of algorithms. However, the limited capacity of these messages inhibits their effectiveness in certain data protection scenarios. Therefore, we propose a DNN-based large capacity image water-marking model. By using Stationary Wavelet Transform(SWT) and Laplacian pyramid transform, we expand the embedding capacity and achieve embedding 128 bits messages in 128 × 128 images. Experimental results show that under the same conditions, the proposed model is superior to state-of-the-art models, and has excellent performance. © 2023 IEEE.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm is a cluster system composed of multiple UAVs and is widely used in military and civilian fields. The UAV swarm has a large number of resources, complex functions, space-time constraints, and task-driven characteristics. However, existing UAV swarm task description methods are usually limited to a specific task and cannot adapt to detailed descriptions of dynamic and complex application scenarios. To this end, we propose a UAV swarm application scenario model based on meta-level theory. Specifically, we abstract three types of meta models from UAV application scenarios: mission meta-model, resource meta-model, and constraint meta-model. Based on this model, we design and implement a UAV swarm application scenario modeling language (ASML) to support the formal description and analysis of the model. Furthermore, we define the conversion rules from ASML to timed automata. We model a logistics handling application scenario and use the model checking tool UPPAAL to verify the correctness of the scenario.

WebAssembly is a fast, safe, and portable low-level language suitable for diverse application scenarios. And The WebAssembly virtual machines are widely used by Web browsers or Blockchain platforms as execution engine. When there is a bug in the implementation of the Wasm virtual machine, the execution of WebAssembly may lead to errors or vulnerability in the application. Due to the grammar checks by WASM VMs, fuzzing at the binary level is ineffective to expose the bugs because most inputs cannot reach the deep logic within the WASM VM. In this work, we propose WasmFuzzer, a bytecode level fuzzing tool for WASM VMs. WasmFuzzer proposes to generate initial seeds for Fuzzing at the Wasm bytecode level and it also designs a systematic set of mutation operators for Wasm bytecode. Furthermore, WasmFuzzer proposes an adaptive mutation strategy to search for the best mutation operators for different fuzzing targets. Our evaluation on 3 real-life Wasm VMs shows that WasmFuzzer can significantly outperform AFL in terms of both code coverage and unique crash. © 2022 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate school. Deep neural networks are powerful and popular learning models; however, recent studies have shown that deep neural network-based policies are susceptible to deception by adversarial attacks. A minimalistic attack is a specialized form of adversarial attack that aims to accomplish successful attacks at the lowest possible cost. Recently, transfer optimization algorithms have been applied to deceive previously trained policies by acquiring knowledge from previously solved tasks. Experiments indicate that the transfer optimization algorithms perform well compared to traditional optimization algorithms. However, current transfer algorithms for addressing minimalistic attacks not only select a single source task for knowledge transfer but also tend to overly rely on identified appropriate source tasks. To address this issue, this paper introduces a similar locality based transfer evolutionary optimization algorithm. It can adaptively select multiple source tasks and extract valuable knowledge from these source tasks. Moreover, by leveraging the concept of similar locality, the algorithm alleviates its excessive dependence on familiar tasks, thereby providing fresh knowledge for the optimization of the target task. On this basis, the algorithm can mine more valuable knowledge from the large source task space to achieve a successful attack in a shorter period. The algorithm is tested on three Atari games-BeamRider, Qbert, and Seaquest-demonstrating its ability and potential to outperform other transfer optimization algorithms currently available in solving this problem.

Most of the services on microkernel architecture operating system are decoupled and built as independent component modules in user-mode. Therefore, how to use these independent service modules to efficiently build a secure microkernel architecture operating system has become an important proposition. However, the existing methods often select some system modules according to the requirements and configuration to build at compile time, which rarely considers the security of user-mode components outside the kernel. This paper proposes a construction mechanism of the security component based on the capability, constructing the system from the point of system security. In order to verify the construction mechanism, sufficient experiments and analysis are carried out on the All winner T3 platform. The experiments prove that the construction mechanism meet the construction principles proposed in this paper. The construction mechanism has certain versatility and continuity for building a microkernel-based operating system ecosystem. © 2022 IEEE.
