With the development of Internet+, an open and innovative educational ecosystem is forming. The combination of Internet and education can greatly promote the integration and utilization of high-quality education resources. Firstly, we analyze the main problems in the construction of digital education resources. Secondly, we explore the co-creation construction model of high-quality mathematical resources among government, enterprises and schools, including the main elements of the model, the connection between the elements and the related mechanism support. Finally, it takes NetPad as an example to carry out practical research on the co-creation of digital education resource in the field of basic education, improving the construction and service level of high-quality digital education resources. © 2023 ACM.

Automatic localization of lesion regions is helpful to assist doctors in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In this paper, we propose a weakly-supervised 2D lung lesion localization method. Our method only requires image-level labels to perform cross-domain translation between normal and patient images through image style transfer. Finally realizes the conversion of the patient's image into the corresponding healthy person's image. The final lesion area is gained by comparing the difference between the patient image and the corresponding healthy version. On this basis, Class Activation Map (CAM) is used as additional semantic supervisory information incorporated into the generator through the SPADE layer to address the drawback of the current methods with blurred localization boundaries and noise in non-relevant areas. Experimental results on a real-world chest CT dataset demon-strate that the proposed method yields better performance than comparable methods. © 2022 IEEE.

Expiration dates play a crucial role in both personal and business contexts, influencing everything from health management to operational efficiency. Track Expiry Dates (TED) is a comprehensive mobile application designed to address two key needs: document management and expiry tracking. We designed a secure app which offers users to store personal documents such as driving licenses, passports, general documents, product warranty cards, and bills, ensuring that critical information is readily accessible and safeguarded against loss or damage. The proposed system provides a seamless and efficient solution for tracking expiry dates and storing essential documents such as Aadhar cards and PAN cards. It automatically sends reminders to users and their nominated family members prior to document expiration, ensuring timely renewals. From a business perspective, the platform enables companies to leverage data from uploaded documents to offer targeted, content-driven recommendations for products and brands. With its intuitive user interface and robust back-end infrastructure, the app delivers a comprehensive system for document management and expiry tracking, effectively meeting the diverse requirements of both individual users and businesses. ©2024 IEEE.

Raspberry Pi is one of the most popular electronic prototyping boards used for prototyping the applications such as Home, Industry, Research, Agriculture etc. This paper provides a summary of Raspberry Pi adoption in agriculture to aid researchers in their work for remote sensing, controlling and automation. Soil quality testing, crop selection, soil fertility and productivity detection, weather monitoring, crop yield detection, plant growth monitoring and automatic spraying of fertilizers and pesticides are some of the Raspberry Pi applications which range from simple solutions to dedicated custom-built devices. The focus was mainly on different farming applications in which information is collected and processed to provide advice to farmers to make right decisions in right time with optimal expenditure. Research challenges, limitations and future trends associated with automated application development using Raspberry Pi are also presented. © 2022 IEEE.

Real-time collaborative programming has attracted increasing attention and interest in recent years. To resolve the semantic conflict problem in real-time collaborative programming, a Dependency-based Automatic Locking (DAL) scheme was proposed in prior work. The DAL scheme prevents other collaborators from editing semantically related regions by automatically detecting depended regions and locking them. However, the DAL scheme lacks flexibility and is not well suited to the needs of programmers in a real-world development scenario. When the programmer switches to a new region, all previous locks are automatically released. For this reason, we propose the Multiple Locking Group (MLG) scheme, where each programmer can hold multiple locking groups and switch freely between multiple working regions. Accordingly, three release modes for releasing locking groups are proposed. Each programmer can customize the release modes in a fine-grained manner. In supporting the scheme, we have devised techniques and solutions, implemented a prototype system and conducted a preliminary user evaluation to validate the feasibility, effectiveness and usability of the MLG scheme. © 2022 IEEE.

Transformers have increasingly become the de facto method to model sequential data with state-of-the-art performance. Due to its widespread use, being able to estimate and calibrate its modeling uncertainty is important to understand and design robust transformer models. To achieve this, previous works have used Gaussian processes (GPs) to perform uncertainty calibration for the attention units of transformers and attained notable successes. However, such approaches have to confine the transformers to the space of symmetric attention to ensure the necessary symmetric requirement of their GP's kernel specification, which reduces the representation capacity of the model. To mitigate this restriction, we propose the Correlated Gaussian Process Transformer (CGPT), a new class of transformers whose self-attention units are modeled as cross-covariance between two correlated GPs (CGPs). This allows asymmetries in attention and can enhance the representation capacity of GP-based transformers. We also derive a sparse approximation for CGP to make it scale better. Our empirical studies show that both CGP-based and sparse CGP-based transformers achieve better performance than state-of-the-art GP-based transformers on a variety of benchmark tasks.

Genetic Algorithm (GA) as a bio-inspired optimization technique, has shown significant potential for applications in many fields. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the main types of evolutionary operators in GA - selection, crossover, and mutation, which have a direct and significant influence on optimization performance. First, this study systematically summarizes the various evolutionary operators currently used in the field of GA. Subsequently, these different operators are embedded into the standard GA framework to assess their influence on algorithm performance. Last, this paper also explores the effect of setting crossover and mutation rates on GA performance, determining the optimal values of these parameters through a series of experiments. This research not only offers a comprehensive overview of the evolutionary operators in GA but also demonstrates the specific performance of different operator combinations through empirical evidence, providing valuable reference for further research and application of GA. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel approach for improving the performance of the antenna in wireless communication systems through the utilization of the Hahn-Banach Theorem. With advancements of such standards as 5G and B5G in design-related issues, traditional methods are typically inadequate. Applying the Hahn-Banach Theorem results in a strong mathematical framework that augments several vital antenna parameters including gain, efficiency, bandwidth, and radiation patterns. The approach takes solutions from limited to large design spaces, allowing the search for new configurations within tight constraints. Results show substantial advancement in antenna performance, creating better, more reliable progressions. This interdisciplinary method connects theoretical mathematics with the engineering solutions making a great step forward for practical communication technologies. This guarantees excellent linearity and overall performance which is very important for wireless communication signal integrity, impacting future antenna technology and wireless communication research and development. © 2024 by SCITEPRESS – science and Technology Publications, Lda.

Forecasting on success or failure of software has become an interesting and,in fact,an essential task in the software development *** order to explore the latest data on successes and failures,this research focused on certain questions such as is early phase of the software development life cycle better than later phases in predicting software success and avoiding high rework?What human factors contribute to success or failure of a software?What software practices are used by the industry practitioners to achieve high quality of software in their day-to-day work?In order to conduct this empirical analysis a total of 104 practitioners were recruited to determine how human factors,misinterpretation,and miscommunication of requirements and decision-making processes play their roles in software success *** discussed a potential relationship between forecasting of software success or failure and the development *** noticed that experienced participants had more confidence in their practices and responded to the questionnaire in this empirical study,and they were more likely to rate software success forecasting linking to the development *** analysis also shows that cognitive bias is the central human factor that negatively affects forecasting of software success *** results of this empirical study also validated that requirements’misinterpretation and miscommunication were themain causes behind software systems’*** has been seen that reliable,relevant,and trustworthy sources of information help in decision-making to predict software systems’success in the software *** empirical study highlights a need for other software practitioners to avoid such bias while working on software *** investigation can be performed to identify the other human factors that may impact software systems’success.

Opponent exploitation is an important task for players to exploit the weaknesses of others in games. Existing approaches mainly focus on balancing between exploitation and exploitability but are often vulnerable to modeling errors and deceptive adversaries. To address this problem, our paper offers a novel perspective on the safety of opponent exploitation, named Adaptation Safety. This concept leverages the insight that strategies, even those not explicitly aimed at opponent exploitation, may inherently be exploitable due to computational complexities, rendering traditional safety overly rigorous. In contrast, adaptation safety requires that the strategy should not be more exploitable than it would be in scenarios where opponent exploitation is not considered. Building on such adaptation safety, we further propose an Opponent eXploitation Search (OX-Search) framework by incorporating real-time search techniques for efficient online opponent exploitation. Moreover, we provide theoretical analyses to show the adaptation safety and robust exploitation of OX-Search, even with inaccurate opponent models. Empirical evaluations in popular poker games demonstrate OX-Search's superiority in both exploitability and exploitation compared to previous methods. Copyright 2024 by the author(s)
