Performing an object detection task after the restoration of a hazy image, or rather detecting with the network backbone directly, will result in the inclusion of information mixed with dehazing, which tends to interfere with detection performance. To address these issues, we propose a novel framework for detecting objects in dehazed images via Dual Cross-Stage Partial Learning (DCSP). Specifically, we introduce a Cross-Stage Partial (CSP) module for extracting clean feature information after dehazing. Secondly, to enhance data integrity, we employ a skip-input strategy to supplement information related to object detection features that may be lost during the dehazing task, while avoiding the gradient vanishing problem. In addition, CSP is also introduced to facilitate comprehensive learning of multiple feature representations. Finally, to avoid the inclusion of irrelevant dehazing information in detection, we apply a Ground-Truth Flow at detection network (at dark3), for fine feature information calibration. Additionally, we created a synthetic fog dataset to expand the training data for DCSP. Experimental results on both synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed method. The code is available at https://***/zhaojinbiao/DCSP. © 2024 IEEE.

Identifying the substrates of ubiquitin protein ligase (E3) and deubiquitinases (DUB) contributes to the discovery of potential therapeutic targets for diseases. However, experimental identification of E3/DUB-substrate interactions is costly and time-consuming. Current computational methods for predicting E3/DUB-substrate interactions rely heavily on specific domain knowledge and involve complex and diverse biological data processing. To address this challenge, we proposed a deep learning prediction model, named Deep-USIpred, which predicts E3/DUB-substrate interactions using protein sequences. The proposed Deep-USIpred model encodes protein sequences with a pretrained model and utilizes 1DCNN-BNN deep learning algorithm to make a robust prediction model. We evaluated the performance of the proposed model on real datasets, and our experimental results show that it can achieve excellent prediction performance on the tasks of ESI and DSI. Our proposed method provides a promising alternative for the prediction of E3/DUB-substrate interactions, which has the potential to accelerate drug discovery for various diseases. The idea behind layered design is the foundation of the Internet of Things. Each tier uses a variety of technologies for capacity, preparation, and information transmission. With regard to the risks and vulnerabilities related to IoT-enabled devices, as well as potential assurance mechanisms in light of equipment constraints and novel information transfer techniques, this study attempts to analyze the current architecture of the Internet of Things. After that, we talk about IoT architecture and applications. The following is a list of effective real-time IoT applications that are now in use: Self-driving cars, traffic management systems, smart grids, logistic management hierarchies, environment monitoring, building safety applications, and many more are examples of emerging technologies. Specifically, we highlight the latest improvements and challenges associated with IoT security. Finally, we discuss the state-of-the-art research and its conclusions, as well as the outstanding problems for future IoT security research. © The Author(s) 2024.

Concept drift refers to the probability distribution of data generation changes over time in a data stream environment. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in drift detection models. However, due to the lack of labeled concept drift datasets, most researchers tend to using synthetic drift data generators for model training. These generators only have relatively simple feature distributions, which fail to capture the complexity found in real-world scenarios. This paper introduces a real scenario concept drift label generator (RealDriftGenerator). This generator aims to preserve the complexity and temporal correlation of real-world scenario while generating concept drifts with user defined drift positions and drift widths. The validation result show that the temporal correlation coefficients of RealDriftGenerator is significantly higher than benchmark drift generators. Additionally, the ability of RealDriftGenerator to capture the complexity in real-world scenarios is 20% higher than benchmark drift generators(measured by model performance). Deep learning models are widely used in healthcare. Given the large amount of data and the need for real-time processing, running these models on IoT devices is a viable solution. This study examines the impact of deep learning models on the limited resources of IoT devices. We selected three models introduced at the 2023 CVPR conference and executed them on a Raspberry Pi with different dataset sizes to measure CPU utilization, memory utilization, and energy consumption. The results show that for the pruned Yolov5 model, CPU utilization has the strongest positive correlation with energy consumption (5.43 × 10=4 Joules), while memory utilization shows the most significant negative correlation (-4.27 × 10=4 Joules). In the FasterNet-T0 model, dataset size has the strongest positive correlation with energy consumption (2.75 × 10=5 Joules). For the Lite-Mono model, dataset size shows the most significant positive correlation (1.84 × 10=4 Joules), while memory utilization has the strongest negative correlation with energy consumption (- 2.52 × 10=4 Joules). These results highlight the key factors correlated with energy consumption across different models, providing valuable insights for deploying deep learning models on IoT devices. © 2024 IEEE.

Online testing is critical to ensuring reliable operations of the next generation of supercomputers based on a kilo-core network-on-chip(NoC)interconnection *** present a parallel software-based self-testing(SBST)solution that makes use of the bounded model checking(BMC)technique to generate test sequences and parallel *** this method,the parallel SBST with BMC derives the leading sequence for each router’s internal function and detects all functionally-testable faults related to the function.A Monte-Carlo simulation algorithm is then used to search for the approximately optimum configuration of the parallel packets,which guarantees the test quality and minimizes the test ***,a multi-threading technology is used to ensure that the Monte-Carlo simulation can reach the approximately optimum configuration in a large random space and reduce the generating time of the parallel *** results show that the proposed method achieves a high fault coverage with a reduced test ***,by performing online testing in the functional mode with SBST,it effectively avoids the over-testing problem caused by functionally untestable turns in kilo-core NoCs.

This paper addresses the continuously increasing storage demands challenge faced by blockchain networks, with a particular focus on Ethereum. We propose a novel framework that divides the network into consensus nodes, which inherit Ethereum characteristics, and storage nodes responsible for storing Merkle Patricia Trie (MPT) nodes. This design aims to reduce the storage load on individual nodes by distributing MPT nodes based on their key values. Our approach maintains network security and data integrity while easing the storage burden through a distributed storage mechanism. Key to our work is the dynamic adjustment of storage load across an expandable network of storage nodes. We validate our framework through practical experiments, involving modifications to the go-ethereum source code and testing with authentic Ethereum block data. The results confirm that our work not only mitigates storage issues but also enhances synchronization efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

Self-training with data augmentation emerges as an efficacious strategy for harnessing unlabeled data in the realm of semi-supervised medical image segmentation. Within the synthetic domain, existing models make a deliberate trade-off, sacrificing some of its absolute performance on labeled data to bolster its generalization capabilities on the predominantly abundant unlabeled data encompassed within the entire dataset. In this study, we find out the essence of employing data augmentation techniques to create a proxy data domain that serves as a bridge between labeled and unlabeled data. To this end, we optimize the aforementioned approach by incorporating the concept of curriculum learning, which encompasses two primary components: Dynamic Copy-Paste strategies and the Self-Iterative Segmentation Model. Concerning the former, the dynamic scaling of the copy-paste box guides the model in acquiring shared semantics, progressing from easier (labeled data) to more challenging (unlabeled data). In order to facilitate this incremental learning process, we have devised models that supports progressive iterative evolution throughout the training phase. Our approach has demonstrated remarkable efficacy through a comprehensive series of benchmarks, consistently outperforming existing methods and achieving state-of-the-art performance. © 2024 IEEE.
