Parkinson's disease (PD) is an advanced neuro-degenerative condition where a large number of people around the world are profoundly affected. The scarcity of precise data regarding the typical circumstances faced by humans with PD severely restricts ongoing research and therapeutic endeavours. This proposed work aims to investigate various innovations to address this issue comprehensively. Specifically, this proposed work intends to develop a versatile application tailored to help the PD patients and incorporating smart medication reminders. Moreover, this proposed work will focus on creating exercise/workout plans & diet plans based on continuous data collection and patient feedback to enhance prescription management while minimizing side effects. Simultaneously, initiatives aimed at reducing the stress level and improve mental health. The development and implementation of this versatile applications hold significant promise in improving patient outcomes. By addressing the dearth of accurate information and fostering a systematic support ecosystem, it aspires to enhance the lives of individuals grappling with PD on a global scale. © 2024 IEEE.

In cloud computing environments, trust evaluation models are critical for assessing the reliability and security of cloud service providers. The accuracy of trust evaluations may be impacted by the failure of traditional trust measurements to take resilience under dynamic settings into consideration. In order to assess the flexibility and resilience of trust assessment models in cloud computing, this research presents a new metric called the Resilience-Aware Assessment. The Risk Assessment offers a thorough assessment of trust models in a variety of cloud environments by taking into account elements including system performance during high stress, reaction to malevolent activity, and recovery time following interruptions. In order to compare various trust evaluation models already in use, this study evaluates them using the RAA in addition to other traditional criteria like accuracy, scalability, and convergence time. The findings show that the RAA metric, especially in situations with uncertainty and volatility, successfully draws attention to trust model strengths and shortcomings that are missed by traditional metrics. The integration of the RAA metric into multi-criteria decision-making frameworks for cloud service selection is also covered in the article, offering a more adaptable and robust method for evaluating trust. Future research will examine how the RAA measure can be used to improve autonomous trust management systems in edge-cloud contexts as well as how it can be applied in real-time cloud orchestration. © 2024 IEEE.

Several newly developed techniques and tools for manipulating images, audio, and videos have been introduced as an outcome of the recent and rapid breakthroughs in AI, machine learning, and deep learning. While most applications for these techniques or tools are in the fields of entertainment and education, some individuals with unlawful intent have also been benefited from them. These individuals use such techniques for various purposes, including the spread of misleading information and unnecessary propaganda, the incitement of political instability, hate and unrest, as well as for purposes of torture and blackmail. These high-quality and convincing manipulated images, audio, or videos are commonly referred to as ‘Deepfakes’. Since then, various solutions to the problems raised by Deepfakes have been proposed in academic studies. This literature review contains relevant publications that offered a variety of approaches to give an updated summary of the research activities in different types of Deepfake attacks, their detection, and countermeasures. It also assesses the effectiveness of the detection capabilities of different techniques with various datasets and algorithms applied in Deepfake detection, while also outlining the various benefits and drawbacks of various methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Domain generalization with semi-supervised learning for people-centric activity recognition

People-centric activity recognition is one of the most critical technologies in a wide range of real-world applications,including intelligent transportation systems, healthcare services, and brain-computer interfaces. Large-scale data collection and annotation make the application of machine learning algorithms prohibitively expensive when adapting to new tasks. One way of circumventing this limitation is to train the model in a semi-supervised learning manner that utilizes a percentage of unlabeled data to reduce the labeling burden in prediction tasks. Despite their appeal, these models often assume that labeled and unlabeled data come from similar distributions, which leads to the domain shift problem caused by the presence of distribution gaps. To address these limitations, we propose herein a novel method for people-centric activity recognition,called domain generalization with semi-supervised learning(DGSSL), that effectively enhances the representation learning and domain alignment capabilities of a model. We first design a new autoregressive discriminator for adversarial training between unlabeled and labeled source domains, extracting domain-specific features to reduce the distribution gaps. Second, we introduce two reconstruction tasks to capture the task-specific features to avoid losing information related to representation learning while maintaining task-specific consistency. Finally, benefiting from the collaborative optimization of these two tasks, the model can accurately predict both the domain and category labels of the source domains for the classification task. We conduct extensive experiments on three real-world sensing datasets. The experimental results show that DGSSL surpasses the three state-of-the-art methods with better performance and generalization.

Identification and classification of brain tumors have become a concern for the medical community as the treatment planning and patients’ prognosis is highly dependent on their classification. In the past few years, deep learning models have become the most discussed and widely used tools to achieve higher accuracy and efficiency in this area. This study gives a comparison of the two widely used deep learning networks, the modified UNet and ResNet-50 for the task of brain tumor classification. The study assesses the efficiency of these architectures on the benchmark dataset and indicates the strengths and limitations of each. The evaluation process is made of extremely rigorous testing and validation procedures, which are aimed at making the data reliable. The outcomes of our study indicate that both modified UNet and ResNet-50 can reasonably be applied to the brain tumor classification. Modified UNet surpasses ResNet-50 in overall accuracy, which implies its effectiveness in high-precision classifications. This comparison revealed the feasibility of the architectures for classifying brain tumors. It helps both researchers and practitioners in the field by providing them with information to find the model appropriate for their specific needs. Moreover, the results of the study could be used to build the discussion on the application of the deep learning models in the diagnosis and classification of brain tumors as a part of the medical image analysis. Today, Agricultures has become a significant element of people's life. Among them fruits and vegetables are a great thing for healthy lives. Classification of fruits and vegetable are difficult for normal person because of some same similarities like shape and color. Also, Fruits and Vegetables classification is an important process in industries applications as well as local market. Lots of similarities available between fruits like apples, pears and peaches, and that kinds of fruits are generally used in daily routine. As well as some vegetables are same in shape, so it will be difficult to differentiate in this type of situation for old persons. The previous research for solution of this type of problem for classification of fruits CNN is used but the problem in this research is when they use the self-made datasets then their accuracy decreases as compare to public datasets accuracy increases. To solve this type of problem, here produce a kind of algorithms in the paper to classify fruits and vegetable, using deep leaning technique such as VGG16 and DenseNet169 model have capability to extract the feature of images very deeply using various small filters so it provide a better result. On this premise, it was used to classify fruit kinds against a complex background and integrated with data improvement technology for future usage. It might be helpful for human for automatic differentiate the both categories. This project is implemented in the python programming language and the dataset used Fruits and Vegetables Image Recognition Dataset for the classification. Which will help to differentiate between Fruits and Vegetables with high accuracy rate. For the implementation of this project used Python programming and this implementation using the tool like Jupiter and Kaggle Notebook and used GPU for highspeed execution. © 2024 IEEE.

The extensive spread of DeepFake images on the internet has emerged as a significant challenge, with applications ranging from harmless entertainment to harmful acts like blackmail, misinformation, and spreading false propaganda. To tackle this issue, this paper introduces a sophisticated DeepFake detection model designed to identify and mitigate the increase of these deceptive images. The model architecture integrates an ensemble approach, combining the strengths of two pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models - MobileNet and Xception - with a novel CNN architecture, the Advanced CNN (ACNN). This rigorous validation process enabled the model to achieve a high accuracy rate of 97.89% in detecting DeepFakes. The successful implementation of this ensemble CNN approach demonstrates its effectiveness in distinguishing between real and fabricated imagery with high precision. This research makes a substantial contribution to the field of digital image forensics, offering a reliable tool for stakeholders across various sectors to identify and counteract the spread of DeepFake images online. © 2024 IEEE.

Hybrid deep learning based digital image watermarking using GAN-LSTM and adaptive gannet optimization techniques

Nowadays, multimedia technology is progressing everyday. It is very easy to duplicate, distribute and modify digital images with online editing software. Image security and privacy are critical aspects of the multimedia revolution. Therefore, digital image watermarking offers an alternative way out for image authentication. Currently, watermarking methods are crucial for safeguarding digital images. Several traditional watermarking approaches have been developed to protect images using spatial domains and transformations. Watermarking techniques that are more traditional are less resistant to repeated attacks. Deep learning-based watermarking has recently gained traction, greatly improving the safety of visual images in a variety of common applications. This study presents a robust and secure digital watermarking method for multimedia content protection and authentication. The watermark image is first transformed using the hybrid wavelet transform, and then it is encrypted using a chaos encryption algorithm. The cover image is simultaneously subjected to neighborhood-based feature extraction. Leveraging these extracted features, a novel Adaptive Gannet Optimization algorithm (AGOA) is employed to determine the optimal embedding location. Subsequently, the watermarked image is seamlessly integrated and extracted using the hybrid Generative adversarial network-based long short-term memory (GAN-LSTM) approach within the identified optimal region. Decryption and Inverse transformation are then used to get the original watermark image. Several previous methods, such as DNN, Deep-ANN, and Deep-CNN, are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. This technique improves multimedia content protection and authentication by guaranteeing strong and secure watermarking. The proposed method for digital image watermarking produced a peak signal-to-noise ratio of 46.412 and a mean square error of 24.512. Therefore, the proposed method performs well in digital image wa

The increasing demand for agricultural produce and the strain on global water resources highlight the need for innovative solutions to improve water efficiency in farming. This work introduces an IoT-powered Smart Irrigation System designed to optimize water usage, ensuring sustainable crop cultivation. Traditional irrigation methods often lead to inefficiencies, wasting water and increasing costs, as they fail to consider varying soil moisture and environmental conditions across fields. This can result in suboptimal crop growth and resource depletion. To overcome these challenges, the proposed system integrates IoT technology with smart irrigation practices. Sensors deployed in the field collect real-time data on soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and light intensity, which a central controller then processes. Using cloud-based analytics, the controller adjusts irrigation schedules and water distribution to match current conditions precisely. The system's primary goal is to create an eco-friendly, cost-effective solution that reduces water waste, lowers operational costs, and minimizes environmental impact. Scalable and adaptable to various crops and environments, this smart irrigation system promises to improve crop yields, promote sustainable agriculture, and address water scarcity challenges globally. © 2024 IEEE.

Unsupervised Remote sensing change detection is very important because it addresses the problem of scarcity in the data availability in training. Some of the researchers are successful in finding the change regions but are not able to classify what changes happened in those regions. Nearly every study faces challenges in generalizing the fluctuations occurring during both the growing and non-growing seasons. The current study utilizes a novel architecture consisting of two parts. The first part involves proposing change regions through the change vector calculation method and applying Otsu's Thresholding on the calculated change vectors, while the second part entails classifying these proposed change regions into vegetation change, building change, and non-change regions. non-change region classification process aims to eliminate false changes identified by the change vector analysis and Otsu's Thresholding. In the second stage, NDVI, NDWI, and NDMI indices are compared and the resulting change mask obtained is subjected for element-wise multiplication operation with the change mask obtained in the first stage. The study addressed the challenge of generalizing short-term changes, such as those occurring during the growing and non-growing seasons, by computing the median of pixels over a time range encompassing both types of changes. Additionally, the method was fine-tuned using NIT Puducherry data from two time periods. Subsequently, the entire Karaikal district was considered to examine the changes comprehensively. The present study outperformed different state of the art methods like CVI_OTSU, PCI_Kmeans, Continuous Change Detection and Classification (CCDC). The present study got better results with an accuracy of 86.07 and kappa coefficient of 0.7898. © 2024 IEEE.
