Recent advancements in skeleton extraction have significantly improved the process by simplifying the skeleton regression task into graph component detection. Despite the advancements in skeleton topology, accuracy in detailing skeletal parts remains challenging, with specific issues such as jagged edges in high-resolution images. This paper identifies the limitations of current detection models that can adapt during the decomposition and reconstruction phases, which impacts the overall precision of the extraction. In response, we propose an approach that revises the primary focus of the detection tasks. Inspired by the success of pixel-wise binary classification methods, we propose a gradual transition in focus from a coordinate localization regression task to a classification task of predicting points during the training process. This transition can be achieved by adjusting the number of object queries in the Transformer model. Theoretical and experimental evaluations validate the effectiveness of our approach. Our method yields significant improvements in performance over the baseline across various shape and image datasets (e.g., 0.836 vs. 0.826 for BlumNet on the SK1491 dataset). © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Edge caching is a promising technologies, which enhances content delivery and reduces service latency by caching potentially interested content and services on edge nodes near users. Due to constraints such as limited edge server capacities and unstable communications in a highly dynamic MEC environment, caching and content delivery are prone to failures and inconsistencies. Consequently, redundant caching mechanisms are in high need as counter measures in this paper, we proposes a novel redundant service caching and task offloading Decision (FT-STD) method. Specifically, we utilize the primary backup (PB) approach for offloading fault tolerance and employ a learning-based algorithm for yielding redundant service caching schedules in MEC. Simulation results demonstrate thatclearly outperforms its peers across multiple performance metrics. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This paper introduces a novel low latency burst short frame orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) synchronization approach utilizing automatic gain control (AGC) gain compensation. By eradicating the guard sequence to expedite the process and leveraging AGC feedback gain values to correct distorted training sequence, our method simultaneously diminishes the time cost and enhances the synchronization performance. Simulation results show that in comparison to non-compensated methods, the proposed synchronization approach can amplify the signal-to-noise ratio by about 1 dB for the same normalized mean square error. Moreover, the frequency synchronization performance closely mirrors those sequences with a higher point count. Given the same frequency synchronization performance, the sequence length required by the proposed method is only 64% of the non-compensated methods, resulting in an estimated time resource savings during synchronization. © 2023 IEEE.

Top-k dominance (TKD) query is an extended query method of skyline query and top-k query, which reveals the top-k dominant individuals in an incomplete dataset by analyzing the dominance relationships between individuals and is a common decision tool in intelligent recommendation applications. This research proposes two parallel query algorithms based on Spark computing engine to address the shortcomings of the parallel top-k-dominated query algorithms for dynamic incomplete datasets. The designed model achieves good performance in terms of runtime performance compared to previous studies. © 2023 IEEE.

The study introduces a deep learning model, CCNN, developed to identify and classify eight types of breast cancer: normal adenosis, normal fibroadenoma, normal phyllodes tumor, normal tubular adenoma, malignant ductal carcinoma, malignant lobular carcinoma, malignant mucinous carcinoma, and malignant papillary carcinoma. This model was integrated with five pre-existing models—Xception, InceptionV3, VGG19, MobileNetV2, and ResNet101—all trained for image classification using the ImageNet database, to categorize breast cancer MRI images. The dataset, sourced from Kaggle’s repository, was further augmented using the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) technique. For 30 experiments carried out to evaluate the introduced model and the transfer learning of five and proposed CCNN models, the F1-score values accuracy yielded were respectively: 98.04%, 96.13%, 98.54%, 97.11%, 94.20% and 98.98%. This study emphasizes the importance of improving the accuracy of early breast cancer detection to enhance the survival rates of patients.

The COVID-19 outbreak has significantly disrupted the agricultural system in India. In spite of this, the most recent quarterly GDP forecasts post-COVID scenario demonstrate the tenacity and durability of the Indian agricultural sector, which is anticipated to be the only sector to record a positive growth rate of 4% for fiscal years (FY) 2020 and 2021. Similarly, growth for the most recent quarter is projected to have been 5.89%, representing a reduction of 2.4% point. In this context, our goal is to compile a summary of the early evidence on the impact of COVID-19 on the agricultural sector in India, including production, marketing, and consumption, and then to design a set of pragmatic strategies to recover and thrive after the pandemic. According to the survey’s findings, the pandemic has disrupted production and marketing through labour and logistical restrictions, while the negative income shock has restricted access to markets and increased food commodity prices, altering consumption patterns. The pandemic caused great emotional, social, economic, and bodily harm to everyone involved in India’s agriculture industry. The state has responded to the crisis by seizing the opportunity it presents and launching a variety of programmes and necessary changes. We suggest a ten-point plan that includes social safety nets, family farming, the trading of buffer stock, staggered procurement, and secondary agriculture in order to revitalise and prosper after the epidemic. © 2024, CRC Press/Balkema. With the application and development of related technologies based on user location information, location-based services have become essential for daily lives. Despite this fact, Wireless Local area networks (WLAN’s) often face time complexities in streamlining and collection of data. Thus, the given paper introduces a deep-learning model based on convolutional neural network (CNN) to predict user’s indoor location from the received wireless signal strength fingerprint maps. The aim is to enhance WLAN indoor localization by streamlining the data collection process. The proposed indoor positioning model leverages a region of interest (ROI) extraction technique to simulate the wireless received signal strength intensity in WLAN’s. By incorporating this advanced technique, the model aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of WLAN localization. To optimize and evaluate the model’s performance in real-world scenarios, experiments are conducted using simulated datasets obtained from the publicly available database such as UCI repository. The results show that the proposed model attains the highest validation accuracy (97.11%) and training accuracy (97.34%) as compared to the existing deep learning algorithms used for indoor localization. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Accurate estimation of regional winter wheat yields is essential for understanding the food production status and ensuring national food ***,using the existing remote sensing-based crop yield models to accurately reproduce the inter-annual and spatial variations in winter wheat yields remains challenging due to the limited ability to acquire irrigation information in water-limited ***,we proposed a new approach to approximating irrigations of winter wheat over the North China Plain(NCP),where irrigation occurs extensively during the winter wheat growing *** approach used irrigation pattern parameters(IPPs)to define the irrigation frequency and ***,they were incorporated into a newly-developed process-based and remote sensing-driven crop yield model for winter wheat(PRYM–Wheat),to improve the regional estimates of winter wheat over the *** IPPs were determined using statistical yield data of reference years(2010–2015)over the *** findings showed that PRYM–Wheat with the optimal IPPs could improve the regional estimate of winter wheat yield,with an increase and decrease in the correlation coefficient(R)and root mean square error(RMSE)of 0.15(about 37%)and 0.90 t ha–1(about 41%),*** data in validation years(2001–2009 and 2016–2019)were used to validate PRYM–*** addition,our findings also showed R(RMSE)of 0.80(0.62 t ha–1)on a site level,0.61(0.91 t ha–1)for Hebei Province on a county level,0.73(0.97 t ha–1)for Henan Province on a county level,and 0.55(0.75 t ha–1)for Shandong Province on a city ***,PRYM–Wheat can offer a stable and robust approach to estimating regional winter wheat yield across multiple years,providing a scientific basis for ensuring regional food security.

Fingerprint identification plays a crucial role in crime detection, but manual analysis is time-consuming and error-prone. This research aims to develop an automated system for accurate and efficient fingerprint matching using machine learning. The proposed approach involves image acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification. Fingerprint images are enhanced, binarized, and segmented. Minutiae (ridge endings and bifurcations) are extracted as features. A convolutional neural network (CNN) is trained on a dataset of fingerprint images for classification. By comparing algorithms, Random Forest achieved over $\mathbf{8 1 \%}$ accuracy, outperforming Decision Trees (nearly 75% accuracy). The trained CNN model can accurately match fingerprints from crime scenes with potential suspects, providing reliable evidence. The developed system offers law enforcement agencies an automated and accurate fingerprint identification tool, improving crime-solving efficiency and reducing manual effort. The proposed approach showcases the potential of machine learning in forensic applications.

In Biomedicine, computer software is applied to the medical image for content analysis by MRI scanning for the program. Preprocessing, removal of noise, processing images in order to detect objects and analysis of the images for tumor assessment in terms of shape and volume form part of the MRI based brain tumor detection process. The author of this paper presents a method employing ANFIS models with clustering in order to determine the number of clusters necessary for identifying brain and lymph node tumors. ANFIS improves classification as well as cancer diagnosis and therapy by automating selection and refinement of treated clusters.
