As the application of smart contracts in blockchain technology becomes increasingly widespread, their security issues have emerged as a focal point of both research and practice. Although symbolic execution technology has been extensively applied for the detection of security vulnerabilities in smart contracts, its limitations in terms of execution efficiency and code coverage remain significant. In response to these challenges, this study introduces an innovative method named HoneyToken-DetectorRev, which optimizes traditional symbolic execution through program slicing technology, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of smart contract security detection. By selecting ten smart contracts from the Ethereum platform, which vary in business logic and complexity, we conducted an empirical analysis of HoneyToken-DetectorRev. The experimental results demonstrate that this method significantly improves the efficiency of smart contract detection without sacrificing precision. This research not only provides an effective technical approach for the security detection of smart contracts but also offers theoretical and practical guidance for further enhancing the security of blockchain applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Automated skin lesion classification in dermoscopy images remains challenging due to the existence of artefacts and intrinsic cutaneous features, diversity of lesion morphology, insufficiency of training data, and class imbalance problem. To address these challenges, we propose a new densely connected convolutional network termed AttDenseNet-121, which is obtained by integrating the convolutional block attention module (CBAM) into DenseNet-121. CBAM is a simple yet efficient attention module, which is further improved by adding a novel pooling layer (multiscale-pooling) to effectively enhance its attention capability. The optimized CBAM strengthens the representation power of DenseNet-121 by emphasizing meaningful features and suppressing unnecessary ones, thus significantly enhancing the classification performance. Besides, to handle the imbalanced dataset, we employ an improved focal loss function rather than the traditional cross-entropy loss function to train AttDenseNet-121. The improved focal loss is calculated from a different perspective compared with the original focal loss. It makes the distribution of positive samples and negative samples in each batch the same as that in the original data, successfully mitigating the negative influence of class imbalance on this multi-class classification task. We conduct extensive experiments on the public benchmark dataset (HAM10000) and the results indicate that our proposed method achieves superior performance compared with that of the baselines and state-of-the-art algorithms. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Since heart diseases influence human life significantly, so rigorous investigations and experiments are needed for the treatment of patients in the early stage. Physicians could treat after identifying the heart diseases. After getting related information about the human body, immediate prediction of heart stock is awakened by the physicians for appropriate treatment and reduce the chances of a heart attack. Again, if the probability of death due to a heart attack is detected, then the treatment may help to recover the patients. To detect heart diseases, machine learning and deep learning approaches can be coded. In this study, two datasets are experimented with conventional machine learning algorithms and deep learning algorithms. One dataset is related to the prediction of chances of heart attack and another dataset is related to the prediction of death due to heart stock. Among all approaches, the one-dimensional convolutional neural network has been shown 99.9% accuracy of prediction. More experiments on heart diseases using different machine learning approaches can conclude the appropriate model for detecting heart diseases, whereas, in this study, the one-dimensional convolutional neural network has given the best performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Colorectal intraepithelial neoplasia is a precancerous lesion of colorectal cancer, which is mainly diagnosed using pathological images. According to the characteristics of lesions, precancerous lesions can be classified into four different grades, i.e., background, normal, low and high level. However, due to the continuity of lesion development, tissue in different stages has high similarity. Recently, visual transformers have achieved impressive results in different visual tasks, due to their capacity of capturing long-range dependencies. However, due to computational cost, transformer cannot well extract detailed feature, which is important for lesion grading. To accurately segment pathological tissues with high similarity, in this work, we embed the multi-head MLP mixer module in the transformer network to extract cell and edge information. Furthermore, we propose a hierarchical MLP decoder to facilitate multi-scale feature fusion. The proposed transformer, namely MLPFormer, achieves remarkable results against competitive baselines on the Histo-CRC Biopsy dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that MLPFormer significantly outperforms the competitive baselines, i.e., a 3% dice improvement is achieved over the SegFormer series. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Introduction: The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a technology that connects devices to collect data and conduct in-depth analysis to provide value-added services to industries. The integration of the physical and digital domains is crucial for unlocking the full potential of the IIoT, and digital twins can facilitate this integration by providing a virtual representation of real-world entities. Objectives: By combining digital twins with the IIoT, industries can simulate, predict, and control physical behaviors, enabling them to achieve broader value and support industry 4.0 and 5.0. Constituents of cooperative IIoT domains tend to interact and collaborate during their complicated operations. Methods: To secure such interaction and collaborations, we introduce a blockchain-based cross-domain authentication protocol for IIoT. The blockchain maintains only each domain's dynamic accumulator, which accumulates crucial materials derived from devices, decreasing the overhead. In addition, we use the on-chain accumulator to effectively validate the unlinkable identities of cross-domain IIoT devices. Results: The implementation of the concept reveals the fact that our protocol is efficient and reliable. This efficiency and reliability of our protocol is also substantiated through comparison with state-of-the-art literature. In contrast to related protocols, our protocol exhibits a minimum 22.67% increase in computation cost efficiency and a 16.35% rise in communication cost efficiency. Conclusion: The developed protocol guarantees data transfer security across the domain and thwarts IoT devices from potential physical attacks. Additionally, in order to protect privacy, anonymity and unlinkability are also guaranteed. © 2024

In the ever-evolving landscape of cyber security, the prevalence of phishing attacks poses a formidable threat to information security systems worldwide, compromising data integrity and eroding user trust. This paper introduces an innovative solution harnessing artificial intelligence to identify and analyze phishing domains, particularly focusing on newly registered domains from public databases like WHOIS. This approach is crucial as traditional security measures often prove insufficient against the sophistication of phishing tactics. Our proposed AI-driven system employs an analysis strategy. It utilizes machine learning to conduct an in-depth backend code and content analysis. This involves comparing suspect and legitimate sites for structural and syntactical disparities, utilizing deep learning models trained on extensive datasets of known phishing and authentic domains. These methodologies offer a nuanced evaluation, crucial for distinguishing sophisticated phishing attempts from genuine domains. Additionally, the system excels at identifying malicious links within these domains, enhancing its overall protective capabilities. The efficiency of our solution lies in its capacity for real-time, accurate threat detection. We introduce a probabilistic scoring mechanism that assesses the likelihood of a domain being a phishing site, facilitating informed decision-making for cyber security personnel. Furthermore, our system is designed for seamless integration into existing cyber security frameworks, providing versatility and ease of use. © 2024 IEEE.

Large language models with a transformer-based encoder/decoder architecture, such as T5 (Raffel et al., 2023), have become standard platforms for supervised tasks. To bring these technologies to the clinical domain, recent work has trained new (Lehman et al., 2023) or adapted existing (Lu et al., 2022) models to clinical data. However, the evaluation of these clinical T5 models and comparison to other models has been limited. Are the clinical T5 models better choices than FLAN-tuned (Chung et al., 2022a) generic T5 models? Do they generalize better to new clinical domains that differ from the training sets? We comprehensively evaluate these models across several clinical tasks and domains. We find that clinical T5 models provide marginal improvements over existing models, and perform worse when evaluated on different domains. Consumer approval of the online auction paradigm is demonstrated by rapidly expanding online auction transaction volumes. Bidders can access a wider variety of products, and sellers can reach a larger audience through online auction platforms. However, privacy concerns have reduced users’ trust in auction platforms, and complicated disputes have led consumers to lose faith in online auctions, negatively impacting market growth. The emergence of blockchain technology has brought a new approach to solving these problems. Blockchain is a new generation of information technology that is decentralized, transparent, traceable, anti-tampering, and unforgeable, following big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. In this paper, we present a blockchain-based online auction solution as well as an auction protocol that uses ring signatures to guarantee anonymity. Three features summarize this essay: (1) Using blockchain technology to ensure that the auction transaction process is transparent, traceable, tamper-proof, and unforgeable. (2) The ring signature-based anonymous auction protocol allows for concealing bidders’ public keys in a group of public keys. Because malicious individuals are prevented from evaluating data by tracking numerous transactions of a single public key, this significantly protects bidders’ privacy. Third-generation sequencing techniques have achieved major breakthroughs in sequencing long reads and speed. Continuous improvements in sequencing techniques have reduced sequencing costs, and the number of sequencing data files has shown explosive growth. In terms of sequence alignment, to deal with these high numbers and large-scale data, the conventional serial alignment method can no longer effectively meet the research requirements, therefore, it is of great importance to develop a faster, low-load, and compatible parallel alignment program. In this paper, we propose a parallel task pool algorithm based on the minimap2, a sequence alignment tool, and develop the task pool parallel alignment program based on this algorithm. We compare the program's work with the average segmentation parallel alignment program. The results show that the task pool parallel alignment program has significant improvement in speedup, memory load, segmentation flexibility, and computational efficiency, it also has good scalability and computational stability.
