The sparse interactions between users and items have aggravated the difficulty of their representations in recommender systems. Existing methods leverage tags to alleviate the sparsity problem but ignore prevalent logical relations among items and tags (e.g., membership, hierarchy, and exclusion), which can be leveraged to enhance the accuracy of modeling user preferences and conducting recommendations. To this end, we propose to extract logical relations among item tags from existing tag taxonomies and exploit the individual strengths of the Poincaré and the Lorentz models in hyperbolic space for logical relation modeling towards enhanced recommendations. Moreover, we find that the logical relations directly extracted from existing tag taxonomies can be inaccurate and coarse. Therefore, we further devise innovative consistency-based and granularity-based weighting mechanisms based on user behavior patterns for data-driven logical relation mining that can be jointly optimized along with recommendations in an end-to-end fashion. Extensive experiments on four real-world benchmark datasets show drastic performance gains brought by our proposed framework, which constantly achieves an average of 8.25% improvement over state-of-the-art competitors regarding both Recall and NDCG metrics. Insightful case studies further demonstrate that our automatically refined logical relations are highly accurate and interpretable. © 2024 IEEE.

The memristive Computing-in-Memory (CIM) sys-Tem can efficiently accelerate matrix-vector multiplication (MVM) operations through in-situ computing. The data layout has a significant impact on the communication performance of CIM systems. Existing software-level communication opti-mizations aim to reduce communication distance by carefully designing static data layouts, while wear-leveling (WL) and error mitigation methods use dynamic scheduling to enhance system reliability, resulting in randomized data layouts and increased communication overhead. Besides, existing CIM compilers di-rectly map data to physical crossbars and generate instructions, which causes inconvenience for dynamic scheduling. To address these challenges of balancing communication performance and reliability while coordinating existing CIM compilers and dy-namic scheduling, we propose a disorder-resistant computation translation layer (DRCTL), which improves system lifetime and communication performance through co-optimization of data layout and dynamic scheduling. It consists of three parts: (1) We propose an address conversion method for dynamic scheduling, which updates the addresses in the instruction stream after dynamic scheduling, thereby avoiding recompilation. (2) Dynamic scheduling strategy for reliability improvement. We propose a hierarchical wear-leveling (HWL) strategy, which reduces communication by increasing scheduling granularity. (3) Communication optimization for dynamic scheduling. We propose data layout-Aware selective remapping (LASR), which helps dynamic scheduling methods improve communication lo-cality and reduce latency by exploiting data dependencies. The experiments demonstrate that HWL extends lifetime by 100.3-205.9 x compared to not using WL. Even with a slight lifetime decrease compared to the state-of-The-Art WL (TIWL), it still supports continuous neural network training for 7 years. Water quality prediction plays a crucial role in environmental monitoring, ecosystem sustainability, and aquaculture, and it plays an important role in both economic and ecological benefits. For many years, researchers have been working on how to improve the accuracy of water quality prediction. However, at this stage, with the increase in external climate change, external noise, precipitation, and many other uncertainties, water quality prediction is facing the problem of insufficient accuracy. This paper analyzes the research methods of water quality prediction at home and abroad in recent years and summarizes the introduction through two aspects: mechanical water quality prediction methods and non-mechanical water quality prediction methods. Firstly, the mechanism of water quality prediction method is introduced, which uses various hydrological data information such as initial water head, bottom slope, hydraulic radius, etc. to predict water quality;Secondly, it introduces the non-mechanical water quality prediction method that uses historical water quality index data to analyze and mine to predict water quality. The evaluation of datasets serves as a fundamental basis for tasks in evaluatology. Evaluating the usage patterns of datasets has a significant impact on the selection of appropriate datasets. Many renowned Open Source datasets are well-established and have not been updated for many years, yet they continue to be widely used by a large number of researchers. Due to this characteristic, conventional Open Source metrics (e.g., number of stars, issues, and activity) are insufficient for evaluating the long-term usage patterns based on log activity data from their GitHub repositories. researchers often encounter significant challenges in selecting appropriate datasets due to the lack of insight into how these datasets are being utilized. To address this challenge, this paper proposes establishing a connection between Open Source datasets and the citation networks of their corresponding academic papers. By mining the citation network of the corresponding academic paper, we can obtain rich graph-structured information, such as citation times, authors, and more. Utilizing this information, we can evaluate the long-term usage patterns of the associated Open Source dataset. Furthermore, this paper conducts extensive experiments based on five major dataset categories (Texts, Images, Videos, Audio, Medical) to demonstrate that the proposed method effectively evaluates the long-term usage patterns of Open Source datasets. Additionally, the insights gained from the experimental results can serve as a valuable reference for future researchers in selecting appropriate datasets for their work. © 2025 The Authors

The security of commercial encryption algorithms has always been a focus of attention. The SM4 algorithm, a commercial cryptographic standard, has been recognized by ISO/IEC as an international standard and has shown excellent performance on classical computers. However, with the development of quantum computing, traditional encryption algorithms are facing new challenges. This paper investigates the quantum realization of SM4 algorithm. By applying the Grover algorithm to the SM4 algorithm, we conducted a quantum exhaustive attack and provided an estimation of the required quantum resources. This study offers a novel perspective on the application of quantum computing in breaking commercial encryption algorithms, which holds significant implications for the future development of quantum secure communication and cryptography. © 2024 SPIE.

Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common cancers and ranks the third in cancer mortality all over the *** goal of this study was to identify potential hub-genes,highlighting their functions,signaling pathways,and candidate drugs for the treatment of GC *** used publicly available next generation sequencing(NGS)data to identify differentially expressed(DE)*** top DE genes were mapped to STRING database to construct the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network and top hub genes were selected for further *** found a total of 1555 DE genes with 870 upregulated and 685 downregulated genes in *** selected the top 400(200 upregulated and 200 downregulated)genes to construct a PPI network and extracted the top 15 hub *** gene ontology(GO)term and kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analyses of the 15 hub genes exposed some important functions and signaling pathways that were significantly associated with GC *** survival analysis of the hub genes disclosed that the lower expressions of the three hub genes CDH2,COL4A1,and COL5A2 were associated with better survival of GC *** three genes might be the candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of ***,we considered 3 key proteins(genomic biomarkers)(COL4A1,CDH2,and CO5A2)as the drug target proteins(receptors),performed their docking analysis with the 102 meta-drug agents,and found Everolimus,Docetaxel,Lanreotide,Venetoclax,Temsirolimus,and Nilotinib as the top ranked 6 candidate drugs with respect to our proposed target proteins for the treatment against GC ***,the proposed drugs might play vital role for the treatment against GC patients.

Cloud storage services have been used by most businesses and individual users. However, data loss, service interruptions and cyber attacks often lead to cloud storage services not being provided properly, and these incidents have caused financial losses to users. Second, traditional and single-cloud model disaster recovery services are no longer suitable for the current complex cloud storage systems. Therefore, a scheme to provide disaster recovery for cloud storage services in a multi-cloud storage environment is needed in real production. In this paper, we propose a disaster recovery scheme based on blockchain technology. The proposed scheme outlined in this study aims to address the issue of data availability within the cloud storage landscape. The proposed scheme achieves this goal by dividing data into hot and cold categories, verifying the integrity of copy data via blockchain technology, and utilizing blockchain networks to manage multi-cloud storage systems. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed scheme yields superior results in terms of computation and time overheads. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduces the Temporal Transform Network based on Scale Sequences (TTS) for cloth-changing person re-identification in video datasets. The TTS network is designed to capture multi-scale temporal cues within video sequences. It accomplishes this by initially modeling short-term temporal cues between adjacent frames, followed by capturing long-term relationships between non-consecutive frames. In more detail, short-term temporal cues are modeled through parallel inflated convolutions with different time dilation rates, enabling the representation of pedestrian movement and appearance dynamics. Long-term relationships are effectively captured using a temporal self-attention model, mitigating challenges such as occlusion and noise within the video sequence. The TTS network outperforms existing methods across cloth-changing video ReID datasets such as CCVID. For instance, under general settings, our approach exhibits a 1.1% improvement in top-1 accuracy and a corresponding 1.1% increase in mAP compared to the baseline. In cloth-changing settings, we observe a 0.2% enhancement in top-1 accuracy and a notable 1.3% increase in mAP relative to the baseline. © 2023 IEEE.

Automated radiotherapy treatment planning aims to improve treatment accuracy and efficiency. However, the prevalent Knowledge-Based Planning (KBP) method faces issues like lengthy manual problem formulation and challenges in accurately modeling human anatomy and processing high-dimensional data. This work focuses on treatment plan optimization and considers deep learning as a potential solution. Deep learning algorithms, by virtue of their ability to learn from large quantities of data and model complex relationships, can automate the formulation of the optimization problem in KBP, saving significant time and effort. However, despite these compelling advantages, it should be noted that the current convolution-based encoder-decoder models used for radiotherapy treatment plan optimization have a limited capability in capturing long-range dependencies between distant voxels. This work aims to introduce 'DE-ConvGraph 3D UNet', a novel deep learning model, to address these limitations and optimize radiotherapy treatment plans for oropharyngeal cancer. The proposed 'DE-ConvGraph 3D UNet' model includes a Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) component to capture long-range dependencies between distant voxels. Furthermore, the dual-encoder structure of the model combines the strengths of GCN and 3D Convolutional U-Net, enabling global relationships and local pattern capturing in a 3D patient volume. Experiments were conducted using the benchmark dataset-OpenKBP-Opt. The proposed model shows improvements in performance in comparison to state-of-The-Art U-Net variants in terms of mean squared voxel-wise error, dose volume histogram points and clinical criteria satisfaction. © 2023 IEEE.
