With the rapid development of large-scale language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) has been widely adopted. However, existing RAG paradigms are inevitably influenced by erroneous retrieval information, thereby reducing the reliability and correctness of generated results. Therefore, to improve the relevance of retrieval information, this study proposes a method that replaces traditional retrievers with GPT-3.5, leveraging its vast corpus knowledge to generate retrieval information. We also propose a web retrieval based method to implement fine-grained knowledge retrieval, Utilizing the powerful reasoning capability of GPT-3.5 to realize semantic partitioning of problem. In order to mitigate the illusion of GPT retrieval and reduce noise in Web retrieval, we proposes a multi-source retrieval framework, named MSRAG, which combines GPT retrieval with web retrieval. Experiments on multiple knowledge-intensive QA datasets demonstrate that the proposed framework in this study performs better than existing RAG framework in enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of QA systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Community-Preserving Social Graph Release with Node Differential Privacy

Dynamic Layered Clustering Routing Protocol Based on Hybrid-Optimized Neural networks for UWSNs

To address the limitations of traditional flat routing in large-scale Underwater Wireless Sensor networks (UWSNs), and to tackle challenges such as long delays, low bandwidth, and high error rates encountered by sensor nodes in underwater environments, this paper proposes a dynamic layered clustering routing protocol based on a hybrid optimized backpropagation neural network (PSB-NN), referred to as PSBDR. The protocol introduces non-uniform vertical layering of the network based on water depth and assigns different communication and sensing radii to nodes according to their initial layer. A trained hierarchical prediction model dynamically adjusts the virtual layer assignments of nodes throughout the network's operation. Additionally, a method is implemented for isolated nodes to join clusters via relay nodes, and a priority mechanism, along with a dynamic weight update strategy, is employed to select the optimal next hop during routing. This protocol effectively balances the workload across nodes at varying depths and maximizes the utilization of residual energy in the nodes, contributing to an extending network lifetime. Simulation results demonstrate that PSBDR enhances network performance by improving load balancing, prolonging network longevity, reducing end-to-end delay, and increasing data collection reliability. © 2014 IEEE.

5G technology has endowed mobile communication terminals with features such as ultrawideband access,low latency,and high reliability transmission,which can complete the network access and interconnection of a large number of devices,thus realizing richer application scenarios and constructing 5G-enabled vehicular ***,due to the vulnerability of wireless communication,vehicle privacy and communication security have become the key problems to be solved in vehicular ***,the large-scale communication in the vehicular networks also makes the higher communication efficiency an inevitable *** order to achieve efficient and secure communication while protecting vehicle privacy,this paper proposes a lightweight key agreement and key update scheme for 5G vehicular networks based on ***,the key agreement is accomplished using certificateless public key cryptography,and based on the aggregate signature and the cooperation between the vehicle and the trusted authority,an efficient key updating method is proposed,which reduces the overhead and protects the privacy of the vehicle while ensuring the communication ***,by introducing blockchain and using smart contracts to load the vehicle public key table for key management,this meets the requirements of vehicle traceability and can dynamically track and revoke misbehaving ***,the formal security proof under the eck security model and the informal security analysis is conducted,it turns out that our scheme is more secure than other authentication schemes in the vehicular *** analysis shows that our scheme has lower overhead than existing schemes in terms of communication and computation.

In recent years, the rapid advancement of automotive and computer vision technologies has made self-driving cars a focal point of interest. A critical factor in the safe and efficient operation of self-driving cars is their ability to accurately recognize traffic signs. Consequently, traffic sign recognition has become essential for autonomous driving systems. This study introduces an optimized YOLOv8 method to enhance traffic sign recognition (TSR) performance. Recognizing that most targets are small and pose a challenge for model accuracy, we employ three different data augmentation techniques on the input images. Additionally, we improve the YOLOv8 loss function by incorporating the Wasserstein distance, which enhances the model's efficiency in detecting small targets. To validate the proposed method's effectiveness, we conducted comparative and ablation experiments. Experimental evaluations on the TT100K dataset indicate that the mAP and precision improved by 1.3% and 0.90%, compared to the standard YOLOv8. These results confirm the proposed method's superior performance in traffic sign detection. © 2024 SPIE.

FHGraph:A Novel Framework for Fake News Detection Using Graph Contrastive Learning and LLM

Securing STAR-FC-RIS empowered integrated sensing and multiuser communications against target eavesdropping

This paper investigates a simultaneous-transmitting-and-reflecting fully-connected reconfigurable intelligent surface(STAR-FC-RIS) empowered integrated sensing and multiuser communications(ISAMC) network, where a dual-functional radar-communication base station detects a malicious radar target nearby and communicates with multiple legitimate users on the other side of the STAR-RIS. We utilize an integrated architecture that combines the fully-connected(FC)-RIS, an emerging type of beyond-diagonal(BD)-RIS, with the time-switching(TS)-STAR-RIS to enhance both the sensing and communications at the cost of possible target intercepting and propose the simultaneous-transmitting-and-reflecting fully-connected RIS(STAR-FCR) schemes to strike a balance between sensing and communications performance. Thereafter, observing the security-reliability performance tradeoff of the downlink ISAMC, we conduct closed-form analyses to compare COPs of round-robin scheduling(RS) and multiuser scheduling(MS) with the aid of a TS-based STAR-FC-RIS. Furthermore, we derive closed-form expressions of the sensing outage probability, communications outage probability(COP), and communications intercept probability, where an average of the three probabilities is exploited to obtain an optimized time allocation(OTA) of the *** results verify that the STAR-FCR-MS scheme outperforms the STAR-FCR-RS scheme in terms of sensing reliability and communications security. Moreover, an OTA remarkably enhances the overall performance of the STAR-FCR schemes of ISAMC systems.

This study presents an overview on intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)-enabled sensing and communication for the forthcoming sixth-generation(6G) wireless networks, in which IRSs are strategically deployed to proactively reconfigure wireless environments to improve both sensing and communication(S&C) performance. First, we exploit a single IRS to enable wireless sensing in the base station's(BS's) non-line-of-sight(NLoS) area. In particular, we present three IRS-enabled NLoS target sensing architectures with fully-passive, semi-passive, and active IRSs, respectively. We compare their pros and cons by analyzing the fundamental sensing performance limits for target detection and parameter estimation. Next, we consider a single IRS to facilitate integrated sensing and communication(ISAC), in which the transmit signals at the BS are used for achieving both S&C functionalities, aided by the IRS through reflective beamforming. We present joint transmit signal and receiver processing designs for realizing efficient ISAC, and jointly optimize the transmit beamforming at the BS and reflective beamforming at the IRS to balance the fundamental performance tradeoff between S&C. Furthermore, we discuss multi-IRS networked ISAC, by particularly focusing on multi-IRS-enabled multi-link ISAC, multi-region ISAC, and ISAC signal routing, respectively. Finally, we highlight various promising research topics in this area to motivate future work.
