A survey for light field super-resolution

Compared to 2D imaging data,the 4D light field(LF)data retains richer scene’s structure information,which can significantly improve the computer’s perception capability,including depth estimation,semantic segmentation,and LF ***,there is a contradiction between spatial and angular resolution during the LF image acquisition *** overcome the above problem,researchers have gradually focused on the light field super-resolution(LFSR).In the traditional solutions,researchers achieved the LFSR based on various optimization frameworks,such as Bayesian and Gaussian *** learning-based methods are more popular than conventional methods because they have better performance and more robust generalization *** this paper,the present approach can mainly divided into conventional methods and deep learning-based *** discuss these two branches in light field spatial super-resolution(LFSSR),light field angular super-resolution(LFASR),and light field spatial and angular super-resolution(LFSASR),***,this paper also introduces the primary public datasets and analyzes the performance of the prevalent approaches on these ***,we discuss the potential innovations of the LFSR to propose the progress of our research field.

It is challenging to cluster multi-view data in which the clusters have overlapping *** multi-view clustering methods often misclassify the indistinguishable objects in overlapping areas by forcing them into single clusters,increasing clustering *** solution,the multi-view dynamic kernelized evidential clustering method(MvDKE),addresses this by assigning these objects to meta-clusters,a union of several related singleton clusters,effectively capturing the local imprecision in overlapping *** offers two main advantages:firstly,it significantly reduces computational complexity through a dynamic framework for evidential clustering,and secondly,it adeptly handles non-spherical data using kernel techniques within its objective *** on various datasets confirm MvDKE's superior ability to accurately characterize the local imprecision in multi-view non-spherical data,achieving better efficiency and outperforming existing methods in overall performance.

Learning with noisy labels aims to train neural networks with noisy *** models handle instance-inde-pendent label noise(IIN)well;however,they fall short with real-world *** medical image classification,atypical samples frequently receive incorrect labels,rendering instance-dependent label noise(IDN)an accurate representa-tion of real-world ***,the current IDN approaches fail to consider the typicality of samples,which hampers their ability to address real-world label noise *** alleviate the issues,we introduce typicality-and instance-dependent label noise(TIDN)to simulate real-world noise and establish a TIDN-combating framework to combat label ***,we use the sample’s distance to decision boundaries in the feature space to repre-sent *** TIDN is then generated according to *** establish a TIDN-attention module to combat label noise and learn the transition matrix from latent ground truth to the observed noisy labels.A recursive algorithm that enables the network to make correct predictions with corrections from the learned transition matrix is *** experiments demonstrate that the TIDN simulates real-world noise more closely than the existing IIN and ***,the TIDN-combating framework demonstrates superior classification performance when training with simulated TIDN and actual real-world noise.

Currently, protocol fuzzing techniques mainly employ two approaches: greybox fuzzing based on mutation and blackbox fuzzing based on generation. Greybox fuzzing techniques use message exchanges between the protocol server and actual clients as seeds, and generate test cases through mutation. Although this approach can provide coverage information of the SUT's code and state space through instrumentation and feedback, its drawback lies in the relatively random mutation strategy, which makes it challenging to validate the SUT's message verification process. This paper addresses this limitation by utilizing artificial intelligence techniques to extract protocol state machines. It aims to overcome the reliance on manual work in blackbox fuzzing based on generation and leverage its advantages to generate more effective fuzzing test cases. The study utilizes Prompt-Learning technology to analyze the semantic information in protocol RFC documents, obtain corresponding intermediate representations, and extract protocol state machines from these representations. Taking the BGP protocol as an experimental subject, the experimental results demonstrate a certain level of accuracy in the obtained protocol state machines and the ability to generate test cases from these state machines, thereby enhancing the automation level of protocol fuzzing. © 2023 IEEE.

Simulation extractable SNARKs based on target linearly collision-resistant oracle

The famous zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge(zk-SNARK) was proposed by Groth in ***, the construction is based on quadratic arithmetic programs which are highly efficient concerning the proof length and the verification complexity. Since then, there has been much progress in designing zk-SNARKs, achieving stronger security,and simulated extractability, which is analogous to non-malleability and has broad applications. In this study, following Groth's pairing-based zk-SNARK, a simulation extractability zk-SNARK under the random oracle model is constructed. Our construction relies on a newly proposed property named target linearly collision-resistant, which is satisfied by random oracles under discrete logarithm assumptions. Compared to the original Groth16 zk-SNARK, in our construction, both parties are allowed to use such a random oracle, aiming to get the same random number. The resulting proof consists of 3 group elements and only 1 pairing equation needs to be verified. Compared to other related works, our construction is shorter in proof length and simpler in verification while preserving simulation extractability. The results also extend to achieve subversion zero-knowledge SNARKs.

Due to their high-entropy effects,the high-entropy(HE)MAX-phase materials improve the comprehen-sive performance of MAX phases,opening up more possibilities for practical engineering ***,it is still challenging to obtain S-containing high-entropy MAX phases because of the high volatilization behavior of sulfur,suffering from issues such as high reaction temperature and long re-action time of traditional synthesis *** paper proposes a novel process named as liquid metal assistant self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(LMA-SHS)for efficient synthesis of high-purity S-containing high-entropy MAX-phase ***-melting-point metal(Sn or In)has been introduced into the raw mixture and melted into a liquid phase during the early stage of the SHS *** serv-ing as a"binder"between transition metal atoms of the M-site due to the negative mixing enthalpy,this liquid phase can accelerate mass and heat transfer during the SHS process,ensuring a uniform solid solution of each element and realizing the synthesis of high-purity(TiNbVZr)2SC in an extremely short *** synthesis method for high-entropy MAX-phase materials developed in this study,i.e.,LMA-SHS,showing very short reaction time,low energy consumption,high yield,and low cost,has the promise to be a general energy-and resource-efficient route towards high-purity HE materials.

Cognitive diagnosis is an important issue of intelligent education systems,which aims to estimate students'proficiency on specific knowledge *** existing studies rely on the assumption of static student states and ig-nore the dynamics of proficiency in the learning process,which makes them unsuitable for online learning *** this paper,we propose a unified temporal item response theory(UTIRT)framework,incorporating temporality and random-ness of proficiency evolving to get both accurate and interpretable diagnosis ***,we hypothesize that stu-dents'proficiency varies as a Wiener process and describe a probabilistic graphical model in UTIRT to consider temporali-ty and randomness ***,based on the relationship between student states and exercising answers,we hy-pothesize that the answering result at time k contributes most to inferring a student's proficiency at time k,which also re-flects the temporality aspect and enables us to get analytical maximization(M-step)in the expectation maximization(EM)algorithm when estimating model *** UTIRT is a framework containing unified training and inferenc-ing methods,and is general to cover several typical traditional models such as Item Response Theory(IRT),multidimen-sional IRT(MIRT),and temporal IRT(TIRT).Extensive experimental results on real-world datasets show the effective-ness of UTIRT and prove its superiority in leveraging temporality theoretically and practically over TIRT.

GeeNet:robust and fast point cloud completion for ground elevation estimation towards autonomous vehicles

Ground elevation estimation is vital for numerous applications in autonomous vehicles and intelligent robotics including three-dimensional object detection,navigable space detection,point cloud matching for localization,and registration for ***,most works regard the ground as a plane without height information,which causes inaccurate manipulation in these *** this work,we propose GeeNet,a novel end-to-end,lightweight method that completes the ground in nearly real time and simultaneously estimates the ground elevation in a grid-based *** leverages the mixing of two-and three-dimensional convolutions to preserve a lightweight architecture to regress ground elevation information for each cell of the *** the first time,GeeNet has fulfilled ground elevation estimation from semantic scene *** use the SemanticKITTI and SemanticPOSS datasets to validate the proposed GeeNet,demonstrating the qualitative and quantitative performances of GeeNet on ground elevation estimation and semantic scene completion of the point ***,the crossdataset generalization capability of GeeNet is experimentally *** achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of point cloud completion and ground elevation estimation,with a runtime of 0.88 ms.

Within the electronic design automation(EDA) domain, artificial intelligence(AI)-driven solutions have emerged as formidable tools, yet they typically augment rather than redefine existing methodologies. These solutions often repurpose deep learning models from other domains, such as vision, text, and graph analytics, applying them to circuit design without tailoring to the unique complexities of electronic circuits. Such an “AI4EDA” approach falls short of achieving a holistic design synthesis and understanding,overlooking the intricate interplay of electrical, logical, and physical facets of circuit data. This study argues for a paradigm shift from AI4EDA towards AI-rooted EDA from the ground up, integrating AI at the core of the design process. Pivotal to this vision is the development of a multimodal circuit representation learning technique, poised to provide a comprehensive understanding by harmonizing and extracting insights from varied data sources, such as functional specifications, register-transfer level(RTL) designs, circuit netlists,and physical layouts. We champion the creation of large circuit models(LCMs) that are inherently multimodal, crafted to decode and express the rich semantics and structures of circuit data, thus fostering more resilient, efficient, and inventive design methodologies. Embracing this AI-rooted philosophy, we foresee a trajectory that transcends the current innovation plateau in EDA, igniting a profound “shift-left” in electronic design methodology. The envisioned advancements herald not just an evolution of existing EDA tools but a revolution, giving rise to novel instruments of design-tools that promise to radically enhance design productivity and inaugurate a new epoch where the optimization of circuit performance, power, and area(PPA) is achieved not incrementally, but through leaps that redefine the benchmarks of electronic systems' capabilities.
