In the era of rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies, traditional teaching models are unable to meet the employment needs of enterprises, and talent cultivation in universities faces more challenges, so teachers should consider how to better cultivate students' innovative abilities in classroom teaching and guiding them in practical applications. The paper focuses on teaching reform and practice of 'computer Networks' course by deep learning classroom, which mainly includes three aspects: 1) Integrating ideological and political education and innovative education into the process of professional education of in the curriculum, by which to enhance students' professional innovation awareness;2) Inviting experts from enterprises to participate in classroom teaching and practical guidance to help students learn about the ability requirements and related positions in the IT enterprises for talents in the era of AI;3) Designing practice projects and guiding students to implement them by 'design thinking' methods, and also adopting an evaluation method that can reflect the innovative ability of students. Works of the paper can better reflect the support and deepening the teaching philosophy of studentcentered, and provide an attempt to improve teaching effectiveness and talent cultivation quality. © 2025 IEEE.

Transaction transmission model for blockchain channels based on non-cooperative games

In blockchain networks, transactions can be transmitted through channels. The existing transmission methods depend on their routing information. If a node randomly chooses a channel to transmit a transaction, the transmission may be aborted due to insufficient funds(also called balance) or a low transmission rate. To increase the success rate and reduce transmission delay across all transactions, this work proposes a transaction transmission model for blockchain channels based on non-cooperative game *** balance, channel states, and transmission probability are fully considered. This work then presents an optimized channel transaction transmission algorithm. First, channel balances are analyzed and suitable channels are selected if their balance is sufficient. Second, a Nash equilibrium point is found by using an iterative sub-gradient method and its related channels are then used to transmit transactions. The proposed method is compared with two state-of-the-art approaches: Silent Whispers and Speedy Murmurs. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves transmission success rate, reduces transmission delay,and effectively decreases transmission overhead in comparison with its two competitive peers.

A self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme for wide area network file systems

Client-side metadata prefetching is commonly used in wide area network(WAN) file systems because it can effectively hide network latency. However, most existing prefetching approaches do not meet the various prefetching requirements of multiple workloads. They are usually optimized for only one specific workload and have no or harmful effects on other workloads. In this paper, we present a new self-tuning client-side metadata prefetching scheme that uses two different prefetching strategies and dynamically adapts to workload changes. It uses a directory-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata in the same directory, and a correlation-directed prefetching strategy to prefetch the related file metadata accessed across directories. A novel self-tuning mechanism is proposed to efficiently convert the prefetching strategy between directory-directed and correlation-directed prefetching. Experimental results using real system traces show that the hit ratio of the client-side cache can be significantly improved by our self-tuning client-side prefetching. With regards to the multi-workload concurrency scenario, our approach improves the hit ratios for the no-prefetching, directory-directed prefetching, variant probability graph algorithm, variant apriori algorithm, and variant semantic distance algorithm by up to 15.22%, 6.32%, 10.08%, 11.65%, and10.73%, corresponding to 25.24%, 18.11%, 23.53%, 24.94%, and 24.19% reductions in the average access time, respectively.

The improvement of consensus algorithms has greatly enhanced the performance of consortium blockchain, making it possible to be applied in large-scale network scenarios such as finance, healthcare and supply chain management. However, better performance often results in a heavier storage burden on the nodes. A storage strategy based on erasure code is a good solution, capable of reducing the storage consumption of each block to O(1). However, in large-scale consortium blockchain, this storage strategy encounters issues like poor performance and limited system dynamicity. To address the issues associated with the application of coding-based storage strategies in large-scale consortium blockchain, this paper proposes a storage strategy based on reputation-layered coding, named Level-Store. Level-Store first partitions the nodes into different storage units based on their reputations, then allocates the storage tasks of different block segments to different storage units for encoded storage. By calculating reasonable storage schemas for each storage unit, the data availability is ensured. Experiment shows that compared to existing coding-based storage strategies, Level-Store significantly improves system performance and dynamicity. It demonstrates notable advancements in key metrics such as space overhead, time consumption for storage and retrieval, the number of nodes and chunks affected by re-encoding, and the time consumption for re-encoding. Additionally, the system's security and fairness have also been enhanced. © 2024 IEEE.

Zero-shot anomaly detection (ZSAD) identifies anomalies without needing training samples from the target dataset, essential for scenarios with privacy concerns or limited data. Vision-language models like CLIP show potential in ZSAD but have limitations: relying on manually crafted fixed textual descriptions or anomaly prompts is time-consuming and prone to semantic ambiguity, and CLIP struggles with pixel-level anomaly segmentation, focusing more on global semantics than local details. To address these limitations, We introduce KAnoCLIP, a novel ZSAD framework that leverages vision-language models. KAnoCLIP combines general knowledge from a Large Language Model (GPT-3.5) and fine-grained, image-specific knowledge from a Visual Question Answering system (Llama3) via Knowledge-Driven Prompt Learning (KnPL). KnPL uses a knowledge-driven (KD) loss function to create learnable anomaly prompts, removing the need for fixed text prompts and enhancing generalization. KAnoCLIP includes the CLIP visual encoder with V-V attention (CLIP-VV), Bi-Directional Cross-Attention for Multi-Level Cross-Modal Interaction (Bi-CMCI), and Conv-Adapter. These components preserve local visual semantics, improve local cross-modal fusion, and align global visual features with textual information, enhancing pixel-level anomaly detection. KAnoCLIP achieves state-of-the-art performance in ZSAD across 12 industrial and medical datasets, demonstrating superior generalization compared to existing methods. © 2025 IEEE.

In industrial contexts, managing time and resources typically involves complex systems with various operational components. This paper introduces a state machine model, optimized for simulating multi-component collaborative processes in industry, which is based on the State Chart XML (SCXML) standard and referred to as SCXML automata. The execution of these automata is treated as Markov decision processes, providing a framework for optimization. The primary goal is to develop strategies ensuring safe operation of such automata while adhering to time and cost constraints. A detailed representation of these automata is presented, including grammar, semantics, and strategies, and methods for strategy generation are adapted from single to multi-component systems. The approach involves the analysis of simulation data from such automata using adaptive reinforcement learning techniques, leading to the generation of strategies that approach optimality. Results demonstrate the capability of this approach in finding near-optimal strategies within a specified number of iterations. This method holds significant research value in the field of industrial flexible production lines, offering a means to generate strategies for multi-layered automata, thereby enhancing process efficiency. © 2024 ACM.

In recent years, cloud computing has witnessed widespread applications across numerous organizations. Predicting workload and computing resource data can facilitate proactive service operation management, leading to substantial improvements in quality of service and cost efficiency. However, these data often exhibit non-linearity, high volatility, and interdependencies across different categories, presenting challenges for accurate forecasting. Consequently, there is a critical need to develop a method that thoroughly and comprehensively analyzes all available data to forecast future trends effectively. This work proposes a novel integrated data-enhanced prediction model named SVAPI for achieving high-accuracy workload prediction in cloud computing systems. SVAPI employs the Savitzky-Golay filter, Variational mode decomposition, and the mode selection based on Amplitude-aware Permutation entropy for feature processing, whose features are subsequently utilized by Informer for multivariate joint analysis of the enhanced data, achieving high-precision prediction. Ablation and comparative experiments with advanced prediction models are conducted on the Google cluster trace and other typical datasets. Realistic data-driven results indicate that SVAPI improves the prediction accuracy by 37.7% compared to the original Informer, with each module contributing to the performance enhancement. Furthermore, compared with Autoformer, SVAPI enhances the prediction accuracy of workload, CPU, and memory by 65.6%, 66.9%, and 70.8%, respectively, demonstrating that SVAPI owns strong abilities in noise filtering, feature processing, and multivariate joint analysis for achieving higher prediction accuracy. © 2014 IEEE.

To address the issue of challenging detection tasks for tiny and medium-sized objects because of backdrop confusion and inadequate feature representation of steel surface flaws, this paper proposes an efficient feature-enhanced, feature-fused SAM-YOLO detector based on the YOLOv8 model. It adds a new feature fusion module MSFF based on the original YOLOv8 model and replaces the bottleneck module in the C2f module with a feature enhancement module SACM. These two modules improve the enhancement and detection of defect edge features, local area sensing, and the network capability of multi-scale feature fusion, and the effect of SAM-YOLO is verified through several experiments on the NEU-DET steel surface defect dataset. The mAP50 of SAM-YOLO reaches 77.9%. mAP50:95 reaches 49.1%, exceeding the original YOLOv8 baseline model by 6.9% and surpassing several other benchmark models. To confirm the legitimacy of each SAM-YOLO model module, ablation tests were conducted on the model in the interim. © 2024 IEEE.
