A comprehensive understanding of physiological data is essential for anesthesiologists to monitor and maintain the health of surgical patients. Understanding anesthetic signals is essential to improve over the past ten decades to comprehend a variety of diseases, ensure the safety of patients, and accelerate their recovery. We identified and summarized four themes of artificial intelligence (AI) research in anesthesia: applications of AI in anesthesiology, signals monitored in different anesthesia stages, commonly monitored signs, and data standardization. The effect of various AI technologies on data analysis was studied, and the types, functions, sensors, characteristics, and intelligent analysis of physiological signals monitored during anesthesia are presented in this article. AI influences anesthesia practices in many ways, including preoperative data evaluation, anesthetic depth monitoring, and postoperative event prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

To ensure continuity and security in production processes, a redundancy structure involving multiple units for use and multiple units for standby (MUMS) is typically used. This paper proposes an offline state maintenance decision model for periodic switching and block replacement within the MUMS cold standby system. The concept of maintenance degree is introduced, and a model is established to represent the relationship among the maintenance effect, cost, and time, under the influence of the maintenance degree. By analyzing the alternate state transition characteristics of operating and standby units in the operation process, a steady probability model of the system state is obtained. Subsequently, a model for average rate costs in a limited scope is constructed to determine the optimal system switching period, preventive maintenance threshold, and maintenance degree. The model is validated using a hot roll system. The results show that the proposed framework can effectively reduce the cost rate and ensure system reliability. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, a wide variety of deep learning models have emerged across various fields. Nevertheless, the quality of these models varies significantly, making the effective evaluation of model performance a pressing issue. In some open data competitions, remote evaluation based on Docker images has increasingly become a novel and reliable approach, providing a consistent environment to ensure the fairness of model evaluations. However, it imposes high demands on hardware resources, typically requiring dedicated resources for each participant to serve as Docker Registries for the pushing and management of Docker images. In this paper, we extend the load balancing module of the Nginx server by integrating Lua scripts and propose a Cache-based Dynamic Smooth Weighted Round-robin (CDSWRR) algorithm to optimize the pushing process of Docker images. By constructing a unified load balancing entry, the proposed approach simplifies the deployment of Docker Registry clusters. Experiments show that compared to weighted round-robin and IP hash algorithms of Nginx, the CDSWRR algorithm is able to ensure stable pushing of Docker images and reduce both response error rate and response time. © 2024 IEEE.

SCSegamba: Lightweight Structure-Aware Vision Mamba for Crack Segmentation in Structures

Pixel-level segmentation of structural cracks across various scenarios remains a considerable challenge. Current methods encounter challenges in effectively modeling crack morphology and texture, facing challenges in balancing segmentation quality with low computational resource usage. To overcome these limitations, we propose a lightweight Structure-Aware Vision Mamba Network (SCSegamba), capable of generating high-quality pixel-level segmentation maps by leveraging both the morphological information and texture cues of crack pixels with minimal computational cost. Specifically, we developed a Structure-Aware Visual State Space module (SAVSS), which incorporates a lightweight Gated Bottleneck Convolution (GBC) and a Structure-Aware Scanning Strategy (SASS). The key insight of GBC lies in its effectiveness in modeling the morphological information of cracks, while the SASS enhances the perception of crack topology and texture by strengthening the continuity of semantic information between crack pixels. Experiments on crack benchmark datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms other state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods, achieving the highest performance with only 2.8M parameters. On the multi-scenario dataset, our method reached 0.8390 in F1 score and 0.8479 in mIoU. The code is available at https://***/Karl1109/SCSegamba. © 2025, CC BY.

Investing and researchers alike have long been fascinated by the volatile and dynamic nature of financial markets. For the prediction and analysis of stock market movements, we present a hybrid approach that combines Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). Leveraging the power of deep learning and technical analysis, this hybrid model offers a comprehensive solution for forecasting and understanding market trends. The LSTM component, a type of recurrent neural network, provides the model with the ability to capture and learn intricate patterns in historical stock price data, thus enabling accurate short and long-term predictions. The MACD indicator, a widely used tool in technical analysis, supplements the LSTM by identifying potential reversal points and providing valuable insights into market momentum. A hybrid approach will provide a stronger and more reliable forecasting framework by combining both LSTM and MACD. To validate the model's efficacy, we apply it to historical stock market data and conduct a thorough analysis of its predictive performance. Our findings suggest that the Hybrid LSTM-MACD approach outperforms traditional methods and offers a promising solution for investors, traders, and financial analysts seeking to navigate the complex world of stock market trading.

Temporal knowledge graph (TKG) extrapolation aims to predict future unknown events (facts) based on historical information, and has attracted considerable attention due to its great practical significance. Accurate representations (embeddings) of entities and relations form the basis of TKG extrapolation. Recent work has been devoted to improving the rationality of entity representations. However, on the one hand, ignoring relation modeling results in incomplete relation representations;therefore, some approaches aggregate only immediately adjacent entities of relations, but this can lead to the "message islands"problem of relation modeling. On the other hand, ignoring the association constraints between relations and entities can make the embeddings of both relations and entities prone to overfitting. To address the abovementioned challenges, we propose an advanced method, namely, RETIA. For the former issue, we generate twin hyperrelation subgraphs for each historical subgraph and then aggregate both the adjacent entities and relations in the hyperrelation subgraphs through a graph convolutional network (GCN). About the latter concern, we propose a twin-interact module (TIM), which provides communication channels for relation aggregation and entity aggregation during the evolution of the historical sequence. Experiments conducted on five public datasets show that RETIA has made great improvements across several evaluation metrics. Communicating information to users is a crucial aspect of human-machine interaction. Vibrotactile feedback encodes information into spatiotemporal vibrations, enabling users to perceive tactile sensations. It offers advantages such as lightweight, wearability, and high stability, with broad applications in sensory substitution, virtual reality, education, and healthcare. However, existing haptic unit designs lack amplitude modulation capabilities, which limits their applications. This paper proposed an optimized design of the haptic unit from the perspective of vibration amplitude modulation. A modified elastic model was developed to describe the propagation and attenuation mechanisms of vibration in the skin. Based on the model, two types of hierarchical architectural design were proposed. The design incorporated various materials arranged in multiple layers to amplify or attenuate the vibration amplitude as it traveled through the structure. An experimental platform was built to evaluate the performance of the optimized design. © 2024 IEEE.

Fast-growing IoT devices in healthcare have ushered in a new era of data-driven patient care and treatment. These gadgets capture too much sensitive medical data, a major issue. We need to boost data analysis, security, and privacy. This research uses cutting-edge concepts like federated learning and blockchain technology to improve Healthcare IoT analytics and security. This study examines blockchain and federated learning's numerous integration aspects. It begins with data security, employing blockchain's immutability and decentralization to prevent manipulation. Federation learning was utilized to solve privacy concerns while adhering to tight healthcare data security regulations, providing strong data analysis without releasing raw, patient-specific information. This study examines how federated learning and blockchain technologies enhance healthcare IoT systems' analytics. This connection allows safe, collaborative analysis among healthcare professionals and devices, offering more insights for research, diagnostics, and tailored patient care. To satisfy the service-side requirements for network layer authentication and traceability of users, this paper proposes a method for mobile terminal authentication and identity tracing based on IPv6 and blockchain. Our method introduces a new verification function (VEF) to verify the interface identification between the terminal and the 5G core network (5GC), thereby effectively enhancing the security of terminal access. Furthermore, considering the privacy protection of user identity information to prevent attackers from deducing encrypted content, it is necessary to periodically update encryption keys. Focusing on the practical deployment of VEFs on a network-wide scale and server-proximal for authentication and traceability, a time-varying key sharing scheme based on blockchain is proposed. The experimental section analyzes the communication performance and security of the proposed scheme, showing that our scheme does not significantly degrade the original network performance while providing substantial security gains. © 2024 IEEE.

Multimodal Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (MABSA) aims to extract aspect terms from text-image pairs and identify their sentiments. Previous methods are based on the premise that the image contains the objects referred by the aspects within the text. However, this condition cannot always be met, resulting in a suboptimal performance. In this paper, we propose COnditional Relation based Sentiment Analysis framework (CORSA). Specifically, we design a conditional relation detector (CRD) to mitigate the impact of the unmet conditional image. Moreover, we design a visual object localizer (VOL) to locate the exact condition-related visual regions associated with the aspects. With CRD and VOL, our CORSA framework takes a multi-task form. In addition, to effectively learn CORSA we conduct two types of annotations. One is the conditional relation using a pretrained referring expression comprehension model;the other is the bounding boxes of visual objects by a pretrained object detection model. Experiments on our built C-MABSA dataset show that CORSA consistently outperforms existing methods.
