This paper presents the programming and use of TMS320F2812 digital signal processor (DSP) in generating the digital pulse width modulation (DPWM). The structure and functions of eZdsp 2812 board used in this work is explained briefly and the steps need to be taken for the programming is explain in detail to control the frequency, the duty cycle and dead band of the generated PWM. the major shortcomings of the MUSIC algorithm for direction-of-arrival (DOA) are that it performs poorly when the sources are highly and when the noise is unknown. A method was proposed to estimate DOA for coherent, noncoherent, and mixed narrowband signals under an unknown spatially noise environment, in this method, the forward-backward spatial smoothing algorithm was employed to decorrelate highly correlated sources and increase data amount, and a covariance matrix difference between the forwardbackward spatial smoothing for covariance matrix of the received data and its transform matrix was introduced to eliminate noise components from the array structure, then, the MUSIC spectral was constructed by eigenvalue decomposition the difference to estimate DOA of signal sources. The numerical result verified that the method is effective.

As more and more mission critical services emerge on the Internet, there is a growing demand for the Internet to provide stringent service availability and reliability. More and more domains adopt multi-homed connection to expect increasing reliability. But the de facto inter-domain protocol - BGP spends a long period to converge to another stable state when one of the links of multi-homed domain fails. The delayed convergence of BGP deteriorates the performance of time stringent services. In this paper, we propose a fast reroute approach, called Fremd, to react quickly to multi-homed domain link failures so as to perform non-stop routing. Through simulation we demonstrate that Fremd is more resilient to multi-homed domain link failures and the scale of exchanged messages and route table size due to the deployment of Fremd is acceptable.

In ad hoc networks, when the load is heavy, the performance of on-demand routing protocols, such as DSR protocol, will suffer large degradation. For instance, the absence of balanced distribution of network flow among nodes in the whole network is highly prone to producing heavy-load key nodes. This results in fast energy consumption of these key nodes, and finally decreasing the survival time of the network caused by their premature failures. To address this problem, a novel algorithm called cross-layer based load balancing algorithm for DSR (CLB-DSR) is proposed. In CLB-DSR, the cross-layer strategy is adopted to exchange the information between data link layer and network layer. Simulation results show that the improved routing protocol using CLB-DSR can effectively balance network load, improve the network throughput and reduce the end-to-end delay, the rate of data dropped.

In recent years, the number of small size wind farms used as DG sources located within the distribution system are rapidly increasing. In this paper, wind farm made up with doubly fed induction generators (DFIG) is proposed as the continuous reactive power source to support system voltage control due to the reactive power control capability of DFIG. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) is utilized to find wind farm optimal reactive power output for distribution system losses reduction and voltage profiles improvement.
