This paper presents a cutting-edge framework for predicting psychological health risks in pregnant women, supported by robust analytics and a user-friendly application interface. Utilizing a dataset of 1504 postpartum women, state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, particularly Random Forest, achieved an impressive accuracy score of 0.7508. This underscores the framework's effectiveness in identifying psychological health risks with high precision. Beyond traditional accuracy metrics, the study adopts a comprehensive approach to performance evaluation, incorporating precision, recall, and F1 score to provide a nuanced understanding of classifier performance, essential for informed decision-making in healthcare settings. The primary goal is to establish a seamless computerized prediction pathway, enabling healthcare providers to proactively address mental well-being in pregnant women. The framework encompasses several key stages, including meticulous data collection, rigorous preprocessing, strategic feature selection, and algorithmic selection. Advanced data preprocessing techniques, such as outlier removal and null value elimination, were employed to enhance data quality and reliability. Feature selection focused on identifying pivotal attributes for precise prediction of psychological health risks, optimizing model efficacy. A distinguishing aspect of this research is its emphasis on user-centric application development. The bespoke Women's Mental Health Tracker, crafted using Python's Tkinter library, boasts a user-friendly interface with personalized recommendations, weekly progress tracking, access to a rich resource library, community support, reminders, and notifications. This empowers pregnant women to manage their mental well-being proactively with ease and confidence. This work focuses on the problem of distributed optimization in multi-agent cyberphysical systems, where a legitimate agent's iterates are influenced both by the values it receives from potentially malicious neighboring agents, and by its own self-serving target function. We develop a new algorithmic and analytical framework to achieve resilience for the class of problems where stochastic values of trust between agents exist and can be exploited. In this case, we show that convergence to the true global optimal point can be recovered, both in mean and almost surely, even in the presence of malicious agents. Furthermore, we provide expected convergence rate guarantees in the form of upper bounds on the expected squared distance to the optimal value. Finally, numerical results are presented that validate our analytical convergence guarantees even when the malicious agents compose the majority of agents in the network and where existing methods fail to converge to the optimal nominal points. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

With the rapid development of technology, the use of social media by the public, especially among young people, is increasing. One of the social media platforms currently used by young people is the TikTok application. It is a video-based TikTok feature accompanied by music, writing, and pictures that are considered attractive, so teenagers like it to show their existence and self-disclosure. Therefore, this study aims to examine the intention of users to disclose their privacy. As the basis of the theory, this study deployed the privacy calculus theory, where the perceived benefits and perceived risks play crucial roles in the intention to disclose their privacy. The study successfully collected 369 responses. The empirical findings indicated that only the relationship between Perceived Personalization (PP) and Perceived Risk (PR) was not supported. However, all the remaining hypotheses were supported. These findings emphasize how several complicated variables influence social media users' intentions to disclose their privacy. When people feel in control of their privacy settings and see significant benefits, they are more likely to divulge personal information;nevertheless, perceived risks can greatly discourage users. © 2024 IEEE.

Fine classification of rice paddy using multitemporal compact polarimetric SAR C band data based on machine learning methods

Rice is an important food crop for human *** distinguishing different varieties and sowing methods of rice on a large scale can provide more accurate information for rice growth monitoring,yield estimation,and phenological monitoring,which has significance for the development of modern *** polarimetric(CP)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)provides multichannel information and shows great potential for rice monitoring and ***,the use of machine learning methods to build classification models is a controversial *** this paper,the advantages of CP SAR data,the powerful learning ability of machine learning,and the important factors of the rice growth cycle were taken into account to achieve high-precision and fine classification of rice ***,CP SAR data were simulated by using the seven temporal RADARSAT-2 C-band data ***,20-two CP SAR parameters were extracted from each of the seven temporal CP SAR data *** addition,we fully considered the change degree of CP SAR parameters on a time scale(ΔCP_(DoY)).Six machine learning methods were employed to carry out the fine classification of rice *** results show that the classification methods of machine learning based on multitemporal CP SAR data can obtain better results in the fine classification of rice paddies by considering the parameters ofΔCP_(DoY).The overall accuracy is greater than 95.05%,and the Kappa coefficient is greater than *** them,the random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)achieve the best results,with an overall accuracy reaching 97.32%and 97.37%,respectively,and Kappa coefficient values reaching 0.965 and 0.966,*** the two types of rice paddies,the average accuracy of the transplant hybrid(T-H)rice paddy is greater than 90.64%,and the highest accuracy is 95.95%.The average accuracy of direct-sown japonica(D-J)rice paddy is greater than 92.57%,and the highest accuracy is 96.13%.

Vehicular ad hoc Networks (VANETs) can be designed in a way to organize road protection with no specific need for any fixed infrastructure. Accordingly, the movement of all vehicles can be planned according to perceived information, and Quality of Services Routing (QoSR) algorithms can be pressured according to its available options, paths, and links, and according to the criteria and reliability of the QoSR. Ensure that QoSR is aware of the environment of the network of vehicles, including location of vehicles, direction, and speed. This study is to reduce the effects of unpredictable problems on the best pathway to replace the broken path/link. A QoSR with Particle Swarm Optimization (QoSR-PSO) is used in this article for improving QoSs in vehicular ad hoc networks. By modeling the behavior of a group of particles, particle swarm optimization algorithms find the best possible solution to the problem. In order to perform simulation experiments, NS2 simulator and VanetMobisim have been used. The paper provides an explicit outlook on the development of a comprehensive sentiment analysis systems for online social media by targeting user-generated text and images on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The system is developed to provide a complete sentiment analysis of users' emotions and expressions on social media. The project is composed of three interconnected sections, a Text-based sentiment analysis model, an Image-based sentiment analysis model and a web application prototype that integrates these models to provide real time results. The text-based model includes, data preprocessing, analysis using Word Cloud, analysis using the techniques of Word2Vec and implementation of multiple machine learning and deep learning models. Similarly, image-based model includes data preprocessing, data augmentation, deep learning methods for sentiment assessment. Final module is focused on representing application with real time demonstration, consisting with the practical implementation of these models. The prototype displays a real-time sentiment analysis and visualizes data. The paper is focused on a wide range of the field where the importance of the sentiment analysis is immense. For instance, companies can analyze how products are being analyzed in the market, politicians can determine how people are thinking of their speeches, teachers can know the interest of the lecture for the students. Therefore, the research signifies the importance of the Sentiment Analysis to extract the meaning or insight from the overwhelming unstructured, dynamic and always evolving nature of the social media content. © 2024 IEEE.

A new hybrid MobileNet-MLP model for secured data communication using signature verification and deep learning

Signature verification plays a critical role in various industries, including finance and document authentication. However, traditional verification techniques have limitations, such as a lack of robustness and an inability to effectively capture intricate patterns and relationships within the signature images. This paper introduces an innovative approach that addresses the drawbacks by integrating conventional machine learning methods with deep learning techniques. For this purpose, we design a new hybrid MobileNet model using deep learning to extract features from the signature images. Here, the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) classifier is also used to carry out the binary classification over the extracted features. The experimental results of the proposed model demonstrate that the amalgamated technique surpasses the conventional methods and underscores the possibilities of merging traditional machine learning and deep learning in signature verification. Moreover, the proposed model overcomes the limitations of the traditional signature verification techniques by leveraging the strengths of both deep learning and traditional machine learning. Finally, it obtains a more robust and efficient solution and proves it by providing high security to the data in terms of accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

HybridViT: An Approach for Alzheimer’s Disease Classification with ADNI Neuroimaging Data

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a prevalent neurological disorder characterized by progressive brain cell degeneration and atrophy, leading to a gradual decline in cognitive and functional abilities. Timely diagnosis is paramount in potentially delaying or preventing the course of this debilitating condition. Magnetic Resonance Imaging presents a non-invasive means for longitudinal monitoring and serves as a crucial biomarker for tracking disease progression. In particular, Structural Magnetic Resonance Imaging (sMRI) enables the quantification of atrophy, which is a reliable indicator for assessing the precise stage and severity of AD-related neurodegeneration. In this research, we employ advanced machine learning techniques to address the challenge of accurate and early diagnosis of AD. We utilize a comprehensive dataset comprising five stages of 2D sMRI Image data, encompassing AD, Cognitively Normal, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Early Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Late Mild Cognitive Impairment classes. To optimize the classification process, we explore a novel approach that combines a Vision Transformer with pre-trained convolutional neural networks. Our study includes binary and multi-class classification tasks, and the performance of 26 pre-trained Keras Deep Learning models is assessed. Notably, The DenseNet121+ViT model achieves 91.26% accuracy in multi-class classification. For binary classification, MobileNetV2+ViT, EfficientNetB4+ViT, and MobileNet+ViT achieve accuracies of 92.33%, 97.82%, and 94.81%, respectively. These results highlight our approach’s potential to improve AD diagnosis accuracy and underscore the importance of deep learning in early detection of neurological disorders. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Discovering Social Media Influencers Using a Deep Regression Analysis

Highly influential users (IUs) play a vital role in disseminating information on online social networks (OSNs). Recognizing IUs is crucial for brand awareness, strategic marketing and consumer engagement. Researchers have developed the temporal influential model (TIM) and incremental logistic regression (ILLR) to find out the probability of a user being influential on Twitter. However, accurately identifying IUs requires considering multiple user and tweet attributes. This study proposes a model for predicting IUs by analyzing user and trend-based attributes from tweets, calculating a weighted associated influence (WAI) score for each user and enhancing IU prediction through user similarity, influence degree, and trustworthiness metrics. The goal is to combine the TIM with deep regression (TIM-DeepReg) to improve accuracy in predicting high IUs on OSNs while handling large amounts of data and attributes. The TIM-DeepReg model combines convolutional neural network (CNN) with regression to automatically learn user and tweet attributes and enhance IU prediction efficiency. Lastly, the experimental findings show that the TIM-DeepReg model surpasses other models in IU prediction for the Tariff, Service, and Punctuality topics of airline services on Twitter and Facebook, with 87.4%, 88.9%, and 88.8% of the most influential individuals predicted. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This research looks at microwave devices, specifically, patch antenna along with electromagnetic spectrum, shape, mechanism, analytical methods, simulation tools, and feeding procedures. Patch antennas are distinguished by their rectangular form, with a patch on one side and a ground plane on the other. Patch antennas work by exciting electromagnetic waves inside the patch, which are subsequently transmitted into the surrounding environment. The report also outlines numerous ways for evaluating the performance of microstrip patch antennas. The electromagnetic characteristics of the antenna are analyzed using the transmission line model, cavity model, and multiport network model (MNM). The integral equations that regulate the behavior of the antenna are solved using the method of moments (MoM) and the finite element method (FEM). The spectral domain technique (SDT) is used to analyze the antenna’s frequency response, while the finite difference time domain (FDTD) approach is used to analyze the antenna’s time-domain behavior. Overall, these methodologies give a thorough understanding of microstrip patch antenna performance and may be utilized to optimize their design. Furthermore, several patch antenna feeding methods, such as probe feed, microstrip line feeding, aperture coupling, proximity coupling, and CPW feed, are investigated. Attaching a microstrip line to the patch, which is subsequently linked to the RF source, is what microstrip line feeding entails. Aperture coupling entails making a hole in the ground plane that allows the RF source to feed the patch directly. Proximity coupling is accomplished by placing a probe near the patch, which creates an electromagnetic field on the patch. Patch antenna simulation software includes programmers such as HFSS, CST, and FEKO. These tools simulate the patch antenna’s performance, including its radiation pattern, gain, and input impedance.
