COVID-19 Detection via a 6-Layer Deep Convolutional Neural Network

Many people around the world have lost their lives due to *** symptoms of most COVID-19 patients are fever,tiredness and dry cough,and the disease can easily spread to those around *** the infected people can be detected early,this will help local authorities control the speed of the virus,and the infected can also be treated in *** proposed a six-layer convolutional neural network combined with max pooling,batch normalization and Adam algorithm to improve the detection effect of COVID-19 *** the 10-fold cross-validation methods,our method is superior to several state-of-the-art *** addition,we use Grad-CAM technology to realize heat map visualization to observe the process of model training and detection.

In order to solve the problem of traditional intrusion detection system programs usually being manually written, with a large workload and certain limitations, the author proposes the research and implementation of a campus network intrusion detection system based on data mining and image processing. Its hardware components include a data warehouse, sensors, checkers, generators, etc;The software design includes a packet capture module, a data preprocessing module, and an event analyzer module. Experimental comparison with traditional methods. The experimental results show that the campus network intrusion detection system designed by the author is far superior to traditional system design in detecting intrusion behavior, approaching 100% infinitely, and has high effectiveness. Particle aggregation and breakage kinetics in cemented paste backfill

The macroscopic flow behavior and rheological properties of cemented paste backfill(CPB)are highly impacted by the inherent structure of the paste *** this study,the effects of shear-induced forces and proportioning parameters on the microstructure of fresh CPB were *** size evolution and distribution of floc/agglomerate/particles of paste were monitored by focused beam reflection measuring(FBRM)technique,and the influencing factors of aggregation and breakage kinetics of CPB were *** results indicate that influenced by both internal and external factors,the paste kinetics evolution covers the dynamic phase and the stable *** the mass content or the cement-tailings ratio can accelerate aggregation kinetics,which is advantageous for the rise of average floc ***,the admixture and high shear can improve breaking kinetics,which is beneficial to reduce the average floc *** chord length resembles a normal distribution somewhat,with a peak value of approximate 20μ*** particle disaggregation con-stant(k_(2))is positively correlated with the agitation rate,and k_(2) is five orders of magnitude greater than the particle aggregation constant(k1).The kinetics model depicts the evolution law of particles over time quantitatively and provides a theoretical foundation for the micromechanics of complicated rheological behavior of paste.

Learning-based small cell base station selection scheme involving location privacy in service migration

Small cell base stations will be deployed at high density in next generation cellular networks. Mobile terminals need to select them more frequently to void the interruptions of location-based services in service migration. Consequently, some small cell base station selection schemes have been proposed. But these works left out location privacy protection and the feature that small cell base stations have cached some candidate result sets. Therefore, this paper first defines perceived latency, migration cost, and location privacy level, and then proposes a method that takes location privacy protection and candidate result sets into account in Actor-Critic with baseline algorithm. It takes the distance between mobile terminal and small cell base stations and the content feature vectors of cached content as environment state to select the small cell base station. The performance is evaluated on the AutoTel dataset after data engineering, and experimental results show that the overall effect of the proposed method outperforms three traditional algorithms and a DQN-based algorithm. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Design and implementation of OLT switching function in 40/10G TDM-PON experimental system

The access network is developing towards large capacity, wide-coverage, and low delay, which puts forward higher requirements for network structure and data exchange performance of optical access network equipment. In this paper, we have designed a high-speed optical network device with 40/10G TDM-PON. To effectively solve the problem of network switching capability in high-speed data transmission, we propose a low delay large capacity switching algorithm, which minimizes the network switching delay. We model the network by integer linear programming and simulate the network based on OMNeT++. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the problem of network switching delay in the high-speed network environment. © 2021 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston.

In the development of ethernet passive optical networks (EPONs), quality of service (QoS) support and fairness per optical network unit (ONU) are crucial issues. However, making an elaborate analysis of the existing prediction-based bandwidth allocation algorithm, light load penalty, low prediction precision are pointed out. We present an improved dynamic bandwidth pre-allocation algorithm (R-DBA), which employs recurrent neural network (RNN) to predict the high-priority service traffic in EPON. And we introduce mixed integer linear programming (MILP) for optimally building DBA algorithm. This algorithm achieves the prediction of the high-priority service traffic by RNN during the waiting time and supports bandwidth pre-allocation, thus ensuring the fairness of the bandwidth allocation. © 2022 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston.

Location-based services (LBS) for elderly care is a trending topic in smart homes. The main concern is the precise positioning for elderly individuals. To address the issue of poor positioning accuracy and lengthy processing time associated with traditional UHF radio frequency identification (RFID) indoor positioning algorithms that use geometric methods, a new positioning method has been proposed. This method combines fuzzy clustering and k-nearest neighbor (KNN) ratio algorithms and has been applied to indoor positioning of the elderly. RFID is used to detect the location of elderly individuals and collect their location information. Fuzzy C-means clustering replaces traditional hard clustering algorithms. The algorithm estimates feature points in the cluster center reasonably based on the membership degree of reference points. This increases the difference between reference points and reduces the complexity of feature matching. Additionally, the KNN algorithm is combined with the clustering algorithm to perform fine matching. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can enhance positioning efficiency by 12.3% compared to the traditional algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Edge Detection and Simulation Analysis of Multimedia Images Based on Intelligent Monitoring Robot

Since the problems of imperfect performance and long time consuming occurs to the multimedia image edge detection according to the current image edge detection method, which makes the multimedia image quality after edge detection not high, in order to remove the edge features contained in multimedia images efficiently and solve the defects of ignoring the texture of multimedia images in the traditional multimedia image edge detection method, an intelligent monitoring robot-based multimedia image edge detection method is put forward in this paper. The method mainly focuses on the similarity characteristics of pixels and edge detection points between adjacent regions of multimedia images, and uses an iterative method to weight adjacent regions of multimedia images, so that the nature of multimedia images is different from the previous traditional images, and the improvement of the viewing mode is loved by the audience, who can experience the immersive state and become the subject of the image when watching the *** VR images are corrected by binocular offset positioning and the noise is removed from the corrected images, and the 3D edge detection correlation retrieval method is used to obtain the ensemble and outlier values, obtain the maximum/minimum, find outand correct the errors, and calculate the value for *** final results of the experiment suggest that multimedia image edge features can be removed by intelligent monitoring robot effectively withthe optimal multimedia image edge effect at ahigh multimedia image processing speed. © 2024 Slovene Society Informatika. Development of a unified digital library system: integration of image processing, big data, and deep learning

The digital library serves as a multifaceted information hub, housing text, sound, images, video, and literature in digital form. It aids users with retrieval, download, and document transfer services. Amidst big data, a robust multimedia retrieval system is pivotal for enhancing digital library interactions and knowledge services. This paper delves into the amalgamation of image processing, big data, and deep learning for digital library integration. By analysing deep learning's concept, structure, and semantic search relations, it identifies issues like 'under-utilising cross-modal correlation' and 'insufficient multimedia resource organisation'. Proposing a cross-media semantic search framework for digital libraries rooted in deep learning, the study suggests optimisation strategies involving cross-modal correlation analysis and hierarchical knowledge inference. The implemented Pillar+Spring+Sleep method demonstrates an 11.53% improvement in overall search performance over the suboptimal index. This optimised scheme seeks to refine and advance multimedia retrieval systems within digital libraries, especially in managing the vast yet imprecise media data of the big data era. © The Author(s) 2024.
