Potential Distribution of Seagrass Meadows Based on the MaxEnt Model in Chinese Coastal Waters

Seagrass meadows are generally diverse in China and have become important ecosystem with essential ***,the seagrass distribution across the seawaters of China has not been evaluated,and the magnitude and direction of changes in seagrass meadows remain *** study aimed to provide a nationwide seagrass distribution map and explore the dynamic changes in seagrass population under global climate *** studies were performed using the modeling software MaxEnt with 58961 occurrence records and 27 marine environmental variables to predict the potential distribution of seagrasses and calculate the *** environmental variables were excluded from the modeling processes based on a correlation analysis to ensure predicted *** predicted area was 790.09 km^(2),which is much larger than the known seagrass distribution in China(87.65 km^(2)).By 2100,the suitable habitat of seagrass will shift northwest and increase to 923.62 *** of the sum of the individual family under-pre-dicted the national distribution of seagrasses and consistently showed a downward trend in the *** of all environmental vari-ables,physical parameters(e.g.,depth,land distance,and sea surface temperature)contributed the most in predicting seagrass distri-butions,and nutrients(e.g.,nitrate,phosphate)ranked among the key influential predictors for habitat suitability in our study *** study is the first effort to fill a gap in understanding the distribution of seagrasses in *** studies using modeling and biological/ecological approaches are warranted.

Active power dispatch of wind farms plays an important role in power grid scheduling. In this paper, a data-driven active power dispatch strategy for wind farms is proposed, which uses the key point of minimizing the standard deviation of wind turbines' output power series to reduce their fluctuations. First, to build the optimization problem, the historical active power output data of each wind turbine is collected from the Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. Then, the objective function is developed based on the idea of minimizing the standard deviation of the output power time series. Meanwhile, considering the constraints of wind turbines' output power and active power balance of the grid, the feasible domain of the cost function is constructed. Further, to solve the proposed nonlinear optimization problem with equality and inequality constraints, the trust region interior point method (TRIPM) is employed to explore optimal solution within the feasible domain. Finally, actual data collected from wind farms is used to test effectiveness of the designed approach and experimental results show that our method can achieve better output power smoothing performance than conventional Proportional Dispatch (PD) method. © 2024 IEEE.

The breakdowns of Rolling bearings have a large impact range and then cause high maintenance costs. To solve this problem, this paper studies a small-sample bearing anomaly detection and fault diagnosis method based on deep convolutional generative adversarial network. This method constructs a DC-GANomaly network model based on attention mechanism by fusing DCGAN and GANomaly networks and introducing attention mechanisms. In this paper, the bearing fault dataset of Western Reserve University is used to verify the proposed method, and the performance of the model is discussed in comparative experiments. © 2023 IEEE.

Multimodal sentiment detection aims to classify the sentiment polarity of a given image-text pair. Existing approaches apply the same fixed framework to all input samples, lacking the flexibility to adapt to different image-text pairs. Furthermore, the interaction patterns of these methods are overly homogenized, limiting the model's capacity to extract multimodal sentiment information effectively. In this paper, we develop a Dual-Branch Dynamic Routing Network (D2R), which is the first multimodal dynamic interaction model towards multimodal sentiment detection. Specifically, we design six independent units to simulate inter- and intra-modal information interactions without depending on any existing fixed frameworks. Additionally, we configure a soft router in each unit to guide path generation and introduce the path regularization term to optimize these inference paths. Comprehensive experiments on three publicly available datasets demonstrate the superiority of our proposed model over state-ofthe-art methods. © 2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

We present GauKGT5, a sequence-to-sequence model proposed for knowledge graph completion (KGC). Our research extends the KGT5 model, a recent sequence-to-sequence link prediction (LP) model. GauKGT5 takes advantage of textual characteristics inherent in the knowledge graph, exhibiting a small model size. However, KGT5's proficiency in link prediction necessitates the ensemble with a knowledge graph embedding model, which itself poses challenges due to its substantial size and expense. By integrating the Gated Attention Unit into the KGT5 model and directly applying it to the encoder-decoder structure, we achieve improved contextual dependency capturing within the sequence, resulting in enhanced prediction accuracy, accelerated training speed, and enhanced computational efficiency. At the same time, we introduce parallel computing as a means to enhance the efficiency of model training and inference within the XPU distributed computing environment. © 2023 IEEE.

In the era of artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC), conditional multimodal synthesis technologies (e.g., text-to-image) are dynamically reshaping the natural content. Brain signals, serving as potential reflections of how the brain interprets external information, exhibit a distinctive one-to-many correspondence with various external modalities. This correspondence makes brain signals emerge as a promising guiding condition for multimodal synthesis (e.g., image, text, and audio), which is crucial for developing practical brain–computer interface systems and unraveling complex mechanisms underlying human perception. This survey comprehensively examines the emerging field of brain-conditional multimodal synthesis, termed AIGC-brain, to delineate the current landscape and future directions. To begin, related neuroimaging datasets and generative models are introduced as the foundation of AIGC-brain decoding and analysis. Next, we present a comprehensive taxonomy according to AIGC-brain methodologies, followed by task-specific representative work and implementation details to facilitate in-depth comparison and analysis. Quality assessments are then introduced for both qualitative and quantitative evaluation. Finally, this survey explores insights gained, outlining current challenges and prospects of AIGC-brain. As a pioneering survey, this article paves the way for future advances in AIGC-brain research. © 2020 IEEE.

Federated Graph Learning (FedGL) is an emerging Federated Learning (FL) framework that learns the graph data from various clients to train better Graph Neural networks(GNNs) model. Owing to concerns regarding the security of such framework, numerous studies have attempted to execute backdoor attacks on FedGL, with a particular focus on distributed backdoor attacks. However, all existing methods posting distributed backdoor attack on FedGL only focus on injecting distributed backdoor triggers into the training data of each malicious client, which will cause model performance degradation on original task and is not always effective when confronted with robust federated learning defense algorithms, leading to low success rate of attack. What’s more, the backdoor signals introduced by the malicious clients may be smoothed out by other clean signals from the honest clients, which potentially undermining the performance of the attack. To address the above significant shortcomings, we propose a non-intrusive graph distributed backdoor attack(NI-GDBA) that does not require backdoor triggers to be injected in the training data. Our attack trains an adaptive perturbation trigger generator model for each malicious client to learn the natural backdoor from the GNN model downloading from the server with the malicious client’s local data. In contrast to traditional distributed backdoor attacks on FedGL via trigger injection in training data, our attack on different datasets such as Molecules and Bioinformatics have higher attack success rate, stronger persistence and stealth, and has no negative impact on the performance of the global GNN model. We also explore the robustness of NI-GDBA under different defense strategies, and based on our extensive experimental studies, we show that our attack method is robust to current federated learning defense methods, thus it is necessary to consider non-intrusive distributed backdoor attacks on FedGL as a novel threat that requires custom d

With the development of display technology, people's demand for high-definition video is increasing, and the requirements for video quality are also increasing. Nowadays, a large number of videos have emerged, and how to distinguish the quality of videos faces many challenges. Nowadays, deep learning is developing rapidly, and many video quality assessment (VQA) methods have emerged. These VQA methods can efficiently evaluate video quality and save a lot of manpower and material resources. To achieve the evaluation of UHD video quality, we propose an inter-frame downsampling UHD video quality assessment model (IFDU-VQA) based on deep learning. This model is a no-reference (NR) evaluation model that adopts a dual-branch structure: one branch uses a recursive network to deeply extract video inter-frame features, and combines inter-frame downsampling technology with a multi-information fusion (MIF) module to achieve different time and frequency information. Effective fusion;the other branch applies convolutional neural networks (CNN) to extract features from individual video frames. By fusing the outputs of the two branches, regression and pooling modules are used to calculate the final quality score of the video. Compared with multiple existing models, experimental results show that IFDU-VQA demonstrates superior performance on multiple standard data sets. © 2024 IEEE.

Industrial control systems have been deeply involved in industrial facilities and infrastructure. With the integrated development of industry and information technology, industrial control systems are tied to the Internet and may be threatened by cyber attacks. Modeling analysis and security evaluation are significant to guarantee industrial control system security. For in-depth research of security in the industrial control network, we first provide a cyber attack strategy for programmable logic controllers with respect to critical nodes in industrial control systems. Then, we explore and validate the viability of attacks based on the proposed strategy through simulations and visualization. Finally, Petri net modeling is utilized to depict both cyber attacks and defensive techniques. The results in this paper demonstrate that the proposed attack strategy gives new ideas for us to investigate industrial control cyber assaults, while the modeling and analytic methodologies in this paper are also useful for system weaknesses analysis. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
