Data deduplication is a crucial technique in the field of data compression that aims to eliminate redundant copies of recurring data. This technique has gained significant popularity in the realm of cloud storage due to its ability to effectively reduce storage requirements and optimize bandwidth utilization. To ensure the safeguarding of sensitive data while simultaneously facilitating deduplication, researchers have put forth the concept of convergent encryption as a potential solution. This technique involves encrypting the data prior to its outsourcing, thereby enhancing the confidentiality of the information. In this work, an earnest endeavor is undertaken to formally tackle the issue of authorized data deduplication, with the aim of enhancing data security. Our approach combines the Diffie-Hellman algorithm and symmetrical external decision to protect and popularize information, ensuring end-to-end encryption to encourage user adoption of cloud storage. The proposed model employs block-level deduplication and guarantees the randomness of ciphertexts by generating encryption keys using the Diffie-Hellman algorithm. This method effectively counters both internal and external brute-force attacks, enhancing data security while reducing computational costs. An extensive experimentation is carried out to demonstrate that our approach is particularly beneficial in scenarios with multiple privilege sets. Overall, the proposed model offers an elaborate framework that maintains data privacy and strengthens security measures, contributing to a more efficient and secure cloud-based document search. © 2023 The Author(s)

Observational studies have demonstrated that refractive error (RE) is associated with an increased risk of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). However, the underlying mechanism through which RE influences the development of POAG remains unknown. In this study, we analyzed genome-wide association study (GWAS) data for RE (95,505 participants) and POAG (15,229 cases and 177,473 controls) to characterize polygenic architecture and identify genetic loci shared of these conditions. We integrated the conjunctional false discovery rate (FDR) statistical framework with Gene ontology to investigate the potential biological mechanisms underlying shared genetic loci. Our study revealed a substantial and previously underexplored shared genetic basis between these disorders. Genetic correlation analysis not only confirms overall genetic correlation between RE and POAG (r for genetic = -0.15, 95%CI: -0.21 to -0.09, P = 7.70E07) but also uncovers localized genetic associations, pointing to 12 genome regions of interest. MR analysis established a bidirectional causal relationship between RE and POAG. We identified a robust polygenic overlap between RE and POAG beyond what conventional genetic correlation analysis can reveal. Most pathway analysis methods based on simple nucleotide variations overlook mutations occurring in genes outside the pathway, fail to address mutation heterogeneity with targeted measures, and do not consider the functional relationships among gene components within biomolecular networks when modeling the contributions of biomarkers to pathways. So, we proposed a novel framework, named IntNet, for pathway analysis based on simple nucleotide variations. The core components of IntNet are sample reconstruction (SC) and a new biologically informed neural network model (BINN). To address the difficulty of extracting effective features caused by the mutation heterogeneity, IntNet reconstructs mutation samples based on the hypothesis that mutations in patients with the same phenotype may cluster in similar network regions. BINN uses the human gene network and expanded biological pathways to construct its neural network architecture. BINN implements mutation signaling propagation along the human gene network and integration within the pathways. IntNet's performance was validated using multiple cancer datasets. Experimental results demonstrated that IntNet could identify more accurate and reliable pathways. © 2024 IEEE.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a globally recognised, highly prevalent disease with a high risk of death and a low cure rate. The World Health Organization estimates that deaths from heart disease will reach 23 million by 2030. Therefore, it is imperative to find a fast and effective method for early diagnosis in order to provide patients with early intervention and improve the effectiveness of treatment. With the in-depth development of machine learning, the function of data analysis and prediction will efficiently help doctors to make a preliminary cluster for a large number of people and detect those who have a dangerous rate of developing coronary heart disease. In this paper, three data pre-processing methods, Smote, Borderline Smote and K-means Smote, were used to construct a risk prediction model for coronary heart disease (CHD) based on an unbalanced data set, combined with four algorithms, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, KNN and SVM. After analysing the data characteristics and adjusting the parameters, different combinations of these methods were compared and a better classification method was selected to predict CHD, achieving higher accuracy, precision, AUC and f1 score. Overall, through experiments, the random oversampling and SMOTE methods can effectively solve the data imbalance problem in most *** final training accuracy could be up to 99%, and the testing accuracy could reach 93%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Circular RNA (circRNA) is an RNA molecule that plays an important role in both pathology and physiology. Accurate identification of associations between circRNAs and diseases is crucial for further physiology research. However, verifying the circRNA-disease associations (CDA) through biological experimental methods is time-consuming. Here, we propose a novel method combines Non-negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) and Adversarially Regularized Variational Graph Autoencoder (ARVGA) to accurately predict CDA. Our model first fuses multi-source information in order to build circRNA similarity, disease similarity and circRNA-disease association matrices. Thereby our model constructs graphs for circRNA and disease respectively and optimize them using a K-means clustering algorithm. We obtain linear features using NMF and non-linear features using ARVGA. Finally, an Extremely Randomized Trees classifier is employed to predict CDA. On the gold standard dataset CircR2Disease, our model achieved a prediction accuracy of 94.8% and an AUC of 0.984 under 5-fold cross-validation. In case study, 19 of top 20 predicted circRNAs associated with Hepatocellular Carcinoma were confirmed in relevant literature. Furthermore, ablation experiment, classifier experiment and independent datasets test fully demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of our model. © 2024 IEEE.

Temporal knowledge graph (TKG) extrapolation aims to predict future unknown events (facts) based on historical information, and has attracted considerable attention due to its great practical significance. Accurate representations (embeddings) of entities and relations form the basis of TKG extrapolation. Recent work has been devoted to improving the rationality of entity representations. However, on the one hand, ignoring relation modeling results in incomplete relation representations;therefore, some approaches aggregate only immediately adjacent entities of relations, but this can lead to the "message islands"problem of relation modeling. On the other hand, ignoring the association constraints between relations and entities can make the embeddings of both relations and entities prone to overfitting. To address the abovementioned challenges, we propose an advanced method, namely, RETIA. For the former issue, we generate twin hyperrelation subgraphs for each historical subgraph and then aggregate both the adjacent entities and relations in the hyperrelation subgraphs through a graph convolutional network (GCN). About the latter concern, we propose a twin-interact module (TIM), which provides communication channels for relation aggregation and entity aggregation during the evolution of the historical sequence. Experiments conducted on five public datasets show that RETIA has made great improvements across several evaluation metrics. Diplomacy is one of the most sophisticated activities in human society, involving complex interactions among multiple parties that require skills in social reasoning, negotiation, and long-term strategic planning. Previous AI agents have demonstrated their ability to handle multi-step games and large action spaces in multi-agent tasks. However, diplomacy involves a staggering magnitude of decision spaces, especially considering the negotiation stage required. While recent agents based on large language models (LLMs) have shown potential in various applications, they still struggle with extended planning periods in complex multi-agent settings. Leveraging recent technologies for LLM-based agents, we aim to explore AI's potential to create a human-like agent capable of executing comprehensive multi-agent missions by integrating three fundamental capabilities: 1) strategic planning with memory and reflection;2) goal-oriented negotiation with social reasoning;and 3) augmenting memory through self-play games for self-evolution without human in the loop.
