Emotion classification in textual conversations focuses on classifying the emotion of each utterance from textual *** is becoming one of the most important tasks for natural language processing in recent ***,it is a challenging task for machines to conduct emotion classification in textual conversations because emotions rely heavily on textual *** address the challenge,we propose a method to classify emotion in textual conversations,by integrating the advantages of deep learning and broad learning,namely *** aims to provide a more effective solution to capture local contextual information(i.e.,utterance-level)in an utterance,as well as global contextual information(i.e.,speaker-level)in a conversation,based on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory(Bi-LSTM),and broad *** experiments have been conducted on three public textual conversation datasets,which show that the context in both utterance-level and speaker-level is consistently beneficial to the performance of emotion *** addition,the results show that our proposed method outperforms the baseline methods on most of the testing datasets in weighted-average F1.

Explainable Hybrid Model for Presaging Tumor Stage Classification with Survival Survey

Tumor stage classification with a survival survey during detection time is the most crucial part of cancer treatment. The survivability period is directly associated with the early detection of the stage. This study developed a hybrid model to accurately classify the tumor (T) stages with the survivability analysis. The study aims to provide an explainable Artificial Intelligence framework (such as SHAP, and SHAPASH), through which the trustability and interpretability of the proposed model can increase. Along with the XAI, this hybrid approach uses two statistical models, ANOVA and LASSO with the standard TNM (tumor, node, metastasis) method for the T-stage classification. Afterward, the survivability analysis for each T stage is shown by the Kaplan–Meier (KM) method, proportion hazard ratio (Cox). Where KM is used to represent the survivability of individual tumor stages in months and the Cox regression shows the risk factors of the events. Initially, the proposed model was examined on a full dataset that contained malignant and benign data for evaluating the performance of the model, therefore stage classification for T1, T2, and T3 performs for malignant data. The K-fold and repeated-stratified K-fold cross-validation are used to measure the accuracy of the whole dataset for lung and breast cancer. For lung cancer, maximum accuracy was attained by MLP–97.64 in K-fold cross-validation. In breast cancer maximum accuracy achieved by GPC-99.57 in repeated-stratified K-fold cross validation. The results of both datasets are compared with the state-of-the-art models. The study contributed by representing the significance of individual features for tumor staging using the advanced approach of XAI, the SHAPASH interface. The accuracy of the T1, T2, and T3 stages based on malignant data was demonstrated with various classifier models with cross-validation. Named Entity Recognition, as one of the typical tasks of information extraction, has a wide range of applications. However, the difficulty of data collection and the lack of data annotation are common problems in real scenarios. It is difficult for classical named entity recognition methods to fully obtain hidden information when the dataset and data labels are insufficient. In this case, the recognition accuracy will drop significantly. In resource-poor scenarios, the use of multi-task learning, data augmentation, and transfer learning methods can effectively utilize limited data resources or introduce data from other fields to optimize model performance. In this survey, firstly, we introduce the reader to the state of research on named entity recognition, and outline the reasons for the survey and the contribution of this paper. Then, we comprehensively describe the datasets and evaluation methods included in named entity recognition, and propose a Classification of named entity recognition in the case of lack of resources. This article presents the experimental findings of a smart irrigation system evaluated in two separate agricultural settings—small-scale farming and large-scale agriculture. The system combines sensors, microcontrollers, and actuators to precisely monitor and regulate the irrigation process in order to optimum water use and crop output. Water savings range from 20 to 45% when using smart irrigation technology in small-scale agriculture. By only turning on the irrigation pump when necessary, the technology optimizes water use and fosters sustainable farming methods. Furthermore, by sustaining perfect growing conditions, the approach boosts crop output, with yield benefits ranging from 10 to 22%. These improvements assist small-scale farmers in becoming more profitable and raising their level of living. In large-scale agriculture, smart irrigation systems allow excellent water management and resource optimization across huge agricultural fields. The technology consistently saves a large quantity of water, often between 25 and 50%, addressing water scarcity issues. Additionally, this method has led to a 12–25% increase in aggregate crop yields, thereby raising farm income and increasing agricultural firm profitability. Experiments shows that this smart irrigation system could bring cost-effective, sustainable techniques to extensive and intensive agriculture alike. Intelligence-guided decision-making technology is applied here, and cutting-edge technologies are brought to bear on the water use problem. Chain-of-Thought (CoT) reasoning has emerged as a promising approach for enhancing the performance of large language models (LLMs) on complex reasoning tasks. Recently, a series of studies attempt to explain the mechanisms underlying CoT, aiming to deepen the understanding of its efficacy. Nevertheless, the existing research faces two major challenges: (1) a lack of quantitative metrics to assess CoT capabilities and (2) a dearth of guidance on optimizing CoT performance. Motivated by this, in this work, we introduce a novel reasoning boundary framework (RBF) to address these challenges. To solve the lack of quantification, we first define a reasoning boundary (RB) to quantify the upper-bound of CoT and establish a combination law for RB, enabling a practical quantitative approach applicable to various real-world CoT tasks. To address the lack of optimization, we propose three categories of RBs. We further optimize these categories with combination laws focused on RB promotion and reasoning path optimization for CoT improvement. Through extensive experiments on 27 models and 5 tasks, the study validates the existence and rationality of the proposed framework. Furthermore, it explains the effectiveness of 10 CoT strategies and guides optimization from two perspectives. Multi-version graph processing has been widely used to solve many real-world problems. The process of the multi-version graph processing typically includes: (1) a history graph version switching at a specific time and (2) graph processing on this history graph. Existing multi-version graph systems assume ideally that every request for a particular graph version at a particular time will have a corresponding snapshot available. However, in most cases, this is not true. Then existing solutions usually have to settle with an "approximating"version as a substitute, leading to unexpected results for the underlying graph algorithm and thus reducing the practicality of a multi-version graph system for many application scenarios *** this paper, we observe that only a few graph updates have a great impact on the final results. We therefore present AFaVS, a novel multi-version graph system that can improve accuracy effectively in both time- and memory-efficient manners. The cornerstone of AFaVS lies in a novel concept "value"that characterizes the importance of graph updates. AFaVS proposes differential management of updates based on their values and achieves higher accuracy while preserving processing and memory efficiency. AFaVS is also equipped with value-guided version switching and locality-aware optimizations to boost its overall efficiency. Our results on a variety of real-world datasets show that AFaVS outperforms four state-of-the-art multi-version graph systems by 74.35%~95.72% in terms of accuracy improvement and 57.03%~90.44% in terms of memory reduction while introducing less than 2.96% extra computing time. We have deployed AFaVS in a disaster recovery system on the production cluster of Alibaba, achieving 78.8%~90.1% fewer error rates than advanced systems at a comparable efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

ChatGPT, an AI-based chatbot, offers coherent and useful replies based on analysis of large volumes of data. In this article, leading academics, scientists, distinguish researchers and engineers discuss the transformative effects of ChatGPT on modern education. This research discusses ChatGPT capabilities and its use in the education sector, identifies potential concerns and challenges. Our preliminary evaluation shows that ChatGPT perform differently in different subject areas including finance, coding, maths, and general public queries. While ChatGPT has the ability to help educators by creating instructional content, offering suggestions and acting as an online educator to learners by answering questions, transforming education through smartphones and IoT gadgets, and promoting group work, there are clear drawbacks in its use, such as the possibility of producing inaccurate or false data and circumventing duplicate content (plagiarism) detectors where originality is essential. The often reported "hallucinations" within GenerativeAI in general, and also relevant for ChatGPT, can render its use of limited benefit where accuracy is essential. What ChatGPT lacks is a stochastic measure to help provide sincere and sensitive communication with its users. Academic regulations and evaluation practices used in educational institutions need to be updated, should ChatGPT be used as a tool in education. To address the transformative effects of ChatGPT on the learning environment, educating teachers and students alike about its capabilities and limitations will be crucial. © 2023 The Authors

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (science and Information Organization).
