The technique of highspeed network data stream capture has been a main topic of network research. This paper finds out some key technical problems that exist on highspeed network data stream capture and makes some improvements, based on analysis of previous research results. This paper designs and implements a Data Stream Capture System (DSCS) based on multiqueue network interface card (NIC) and multicore processor which has improved system performance a lot by taking advantage of polling, multiqueue and raw device techniques. Test results show that the newly designed system is able to receive packets of 64Byte and 1024Byte, respectively at a rate of 694Mb/s and 930Mb/s. Compared with the current system, the capability of data stream capture is largely improved.
